Well good morning. Doesn't seem like he's a non-Bitcoiner any longer though, does it? Bitcoiner as I am, I'd still tell them to practise extreme caution... not only to make sure they're actually buying Bitcoin (and not some other project they think is BTC) but also not to bet everything and the kitchen sink. There's no guarantee Bitcoin will do well, even if it has been on an upward trajectory, the best strategy is still to keep eggs in different baskets, spread the risk.

It is a surprise to see a good morning message popping out from one of my friend. Its been long to get a message from him, and the message made the day. He hasn't known about bitcoin and he isn't used to it. But the message he sent has got a big information in it. He has forwarded the message even without knowing the true meaning, and the message is True.
snip~
Your friend is correct, everything is profoundly hazardous aside from bitcoins. Gold is expensive and I think bitcoin will outperform gold as well. It's better to put resources into cryptographic money. Anyways your friend isn't a bitcoin client, at that point how he can advance it with such certainty? May your friend has just been educated by somebody or he is taking interest in it

Maybe your friend has started to be interested in Bitcoin, that's why he sent a message like in the opening post. If he is not interested in Bitcoin, why would he make such a message, sometimes people who are initially negative about Bitcoin, eventually became interested in Bitcoin. There should be clarity, you should just ask your friend, why he sends a message like that.

Perhaps your friend has already been informed or even interested about Bitcoin and crypto. The greeting is basically promoting Bitcoin and crypto.
However, the line "invest in Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies" is just like the tiny tip of something enormous. It entails knowledge; it entails careful research not just of Bitcoin itself but also of how to securely access and keep it.
There must be serious disclaimers following this encouragement or, better yet, precautionary warnings. This is the overused line of scammers soliciting investments from gullible individuals in the name of Bitcoin and crypto.
Good point about disclaimers. I've seen on multiple occasions how people were trying to attract others to the market, but IMO their actions were controversial or even harmful. Namely, in all those cases people were focusing on Bitcoin as a good investment opportunity, encouraging people who have no or very limited knowledge of Bitcoin to buy and hold. I think that it's important to be honest and explain the risks, as well as mention that being an investment option is not the only thing Bitcoin is (because it's also a currency that can be used to buy stuff without using the money controlled by some state).

That's an important message, and people must open their eyes... If we get a credit from banks or a loan, we would have to pay them close to 80% back... But if we want to invest in them we would get only between 1.8% and 5% annually, For me that's the nastiest scam we can see nowadays, i can't believe banks are legal thieves.

I'm pretty sure your friend has already made some research of his own before sending you this picture.
Most of the time people are already arousing their curiosity when they see things such as this pop up on their feeds or whenever they see such. It's innate in humans to be curious in something they don't know while the rest of the population does. Good thing that your friend knows how to be curious enough to send you a picture like that, though it will be better if he goes even deeper and thoroughly to get a footing of what's really in store for him should he really decide to invest his money on bitcoin. Nevertheless, a good start on recognizing bitcoin and its potential, and what makes it different from other investment opportunities out there.

when I posted my success on social media about the success of getting bitcoin my friend texted me exactly what the OP got. first they were interested in Bitcoin because of its value, and wanted to learn how to get Bitcoin. but unfortunately many of my friends who have just seen the results of Bitcoin, don't really want to learn how to get Bitcoin,

I always happy when someone/my friend who talk about bitcoin and he didn't know bitcoin before. I always tell to them and explain to them about bitcoin and how it works. Whatever how the result is and how the response is at least I have told and promote bitcoin explicitly.
Moreover with the situation when you feel in your city just you who knows bitcoin it will be happy if there is someone who know/talk bitcoin directly. Seem like the ad just a sign that the bull run for bitcoin will come again, I saw it when 2017 ago, I didn't know bitcoin before and there are a lot of information and many ad the popped up in social media.

Maybe their level of interest is different from yours. You're enthusiastic to learn about bitcoin and it's technicalities while they're just interested because it's one way of earning. Well, don't mind them too much. If they're really interested, like truly interested, they'll surely show it and approach you for help and advise. Anyway, with regards to op. That's good. I mean, maybe he's interested now in bitcoin. It's surprising yes, but it's something we or you should be glad about for your friend had a change of heart. It just goes to show that change is the only permanent thing in this world.

That's some Facebook boomer stuff right there.
Taking financial advice from social media shitposts - what could possibly go wrong? If someone would actually buy BTC because of posts like this, it would probably do more harm than good, since they won't know how to properly use it and will likely just store it on exchange, or worse, download a fake wallet.

Tbh I think if their friend sent them this and their førend isn't into crypto but they are then it's perfectly fine. Probably just something they found online while they were browsing... I assume if his friend wants to get into crypto, he'd try to get some advice from Op at least... But also the slogan is kinda true, everything else funds the banks and the fat cats that exist only to exploit the system while bitcoin and crypto is a separate endeavour so far at least. Im have the same perception too that his friend might find up something online and do step in into the crypto space and do able to know about Bitcoin yet those lines are just the most basic ones and when you do greet out by something like that then you can really tell that he did find this market but doesnt mean that he had already know all the things around but this is much better rather than having friends that do oppose the idea.I have also a friend of mine that did approach me but not on the similar way but rather he ask out and verify if Bitcoin is really having those features like anonymity and decentralized which i totally tell him "Yes".

I don't think your friend wasn't still aware about bitcoin or investing in cryptocurrency. He/She has slight idea about it that is why your friend forwarded that message. Unless he/she only forwarded that message because of that "Good morning" and unaware that he may influence some because of that image forwarded by your friend.
Sometimes, simple message like that will change one's life. Especially when a person doesnt have yet knowledge about btc and try to patronize and invest it too.

Here is the big problem - "forwarded you the message without even knowing". People forward random shit without understanding what it is. This does not necessarily means he is interested in bitcoin and might be future "bitcoiner". I bet he has no clue at all about what was written over there. He just wanted to wish you a very "good morning" with a "motivational quote" (he thinks this was some sort of motivational quote). That quote itself is misleading people in a lot of ways. If gold is expensive, then we can say bitcoin is also expensive. If people can afford to invest in bitcoin, they can also afford to invest if golds. No one is forcing anyone to buy huge chunks of gold. They can invest in fractions. Banks unreliable? Criticizing banks, but can't live without one.

Did you ask him about crypto?
He might be aware now on what bitcoin is or crypto in general. For a crypto enthusiast, receiving such message can encourage that you're doing the right thing specially if you already have experience of earning in crypto. But for someone who dont know about crypto, this message can give a wrong idea to people specially to those greedy that there's an easy money on crypto. We should educate ourselves first before engaging to something we really dont know because it has risk.

Pretty much. Especially freakin Facebook? That's literally the last social media site that I'd get financial advice from. At least with Twitter and LinkedIn you actually got CEOs, investors, and finance people in general there, which are A LOT more qualified to be giving out financial advice.

OP, with the coming bull market, I would be careful of such messages from a friend who has not talked to you in a while, especially if he knows you're a HODLer. Next message might be a loan request. Hahaha.
Nothing to worry, we've got trusted escrow service providers. I'll mention him about the collateral, and if he's ok to provide the collateral can sanction his loan request. I believe he'll come request a borrow and not loan Opportunity Cost. DO NOT LEND. You be sure that the collateral is also something valuable, and that he returns/pays you the value in Bitcoin, not fiat. It will be unfair for you if your friend is HODLing your coins while it surges to $20,000.

I know it's their cash however I feel it's my obligation to in any event give them a gigantic admonition call of what they could discover on the opposite side of the moon. l will acknowledge great morning from those people who have considerably more information about bitcoin. I feel glad and acknowledge who has urged and draw in to the speculators. I figure you can answer by getting some information about his explanation sent that message to you. I surmise he will disclose more to you. I am interested what is your answer to him. it would seem that he has been pushed so hard about Bitcoin from another person.

What makes you think that someone that you sent a photo with this kind of information doesn’t know anything about Bitcoin? So, you’re forgetting that there are people who prefer to keep their businesses to themselves?
I have been into buying, selling of bitcoin for years now and a lot of my friends don’t know about it, except a very few that are really close to me and are able to tell what I am up to. I am not the type of person that goes out there shouting out to everyone and telling them that I am into Bitcoin, it’s none of their business what I do.
