Social media is really full of different ideas, reaction, thoughts, imagination which is sometimes in reality. It also spreads fast that's why I'm not surprised if why the adoption and users of bitcoin are keep on increasing despite of high transaction fees. Welcome everyone in Bitcoin Community!

Reading his message, I understand that he has known about Bitcoin for a long time.  Otherwise he wouldn't be able to write about Bitcoin. Since you haven't been in touch with him for a long time, I think he's got an idea about bitcoin.  However, the words of his message are really logical.  I really like the last line of his message Invest in Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency

Someone who doesn't know anything about cryptos can't really understand the message so you can't say your friend is a non bitcoiner. Smiley

Still people send forward messages like these? Grin

If non-bitcoiners are starting to spread around pictures and memes about Bitcoin it's all good.

I'd be happy even if they were making jokes about it but this picture is pure positivity. Tell him he made your day!

I agree, That friend might secretely using bitcoin or discovering it for a time now and he might just want to see the OP reaction when he got that kind of message. There's also a chance that his friend start being curious about the message he sent and might askin for some insights about it. There are many possible scenario why OP friend sent it, We need more context about it.

...
I see your friends like most people on social media...
Facebook is famous for its members who in real life are not like their posts. I also have a friend who is 'talkative' especially with all things, she even seems to understand the most about Bitcoin than me even though she never bought Bitcoin, a funny thing to me. Cheesy

We also have to be careful as we enjoy the advantages of it. Just as we enjoy it, many have been victim because there are scam around. No doubt we are seeing increase in people talking about bitcoin through social media and large numbers are adopting.

The friend to Op is not totally a novice in bitcoin but maybe he doesn't know as much.

Maybe you could send this to a lot of people on social media or just post this photo to create curiosity to the people and there is a slight chance for them to search things about cryptocurrency and also bitcoin. Your friend already has an idea of what is cryptocurrency and bitcoin for posting or send the photo to you at least. Or it could also be he just sees the photo and then send it to you because he or she knows that you know cryptocurrency and bitcoin so he sends you the photo to motivate you in investing.

Some people are very secretive about what they do to earn extra income and this include cryptocurrencies. I am not the only person around my workplace who know about cryptocurrency, although we often meet and chat but I never knew that he had known many thing about bitcoin since 2015. To be precise in 2018 I accidentally asked his interest in investing. I offered him crypto investment and I was surprised that he was there earlier than me. This proves that some people don't want to tell other what they are doing and because cryptocurrency is money security is a concern too. We never know who will have bad intentions against us when it comes to wealth and valuable asset, and it's important to take care of ourselves and our safety.

From my assessment, assuming he isn't cryptocurrency oriented yet then obviously he just forwarded a message that was sent to him by another friend. We all know we're guilty of this too. Most times we forward a messages that we found to be interesting without having to get the whole meaning the message was intended to pass. It seems he knew the message would mean more to you since you're already into the system just like how I found forex related quotes to my buddies into that industry.

I would advice you used this opportunity to enlightening your friend more on what the industry is all about and the potential it has to offer him. It might just be his awaking call and who knows you'll be glad you took my advice someday.

PS: I just downloaded the message (image), it looks like a perfect whatsapp daily morning statue to me and I'll be using this to preach the message on my status, just maybe I'll win another soul lol.

Saying good morning to anyone is the kindest-polite attitude of human being which passes possitivity and radiates sunshine to everyone's heart. Maybe your friend is a thoughtful and sweet type of a person that likes to forward some quotes and greetings to lighten up someone's day. And he happens to like that message, with or without knowing the real sense/meaning of it. To me, it looks like a great ad from any social media platform, but has something relevant that the creator wanted the people to think about the deeper meaning, the hunger to research the real meaning that it portrays. It looks so simple and plain but very interesting if you began to analyze.

If his friend still spreads that meme's to other friends, he helps bitcoin be known in their society or community. Sooner or later, many people will hear about bitcoin, and they will curious to know what bitcoin is. Who knows, that can help them start investing in bitcoin to have a new type of investment. I guess his friend knows a little about bitcoin or already heard about bitcoin somewhere, so he wants us to @OP, but maybe his friend is too shy to ask him.

I agree with the statement about gold is costly since most of the people around the world don't own some gold and some of the owners have their gold pawn in the pawnshop due to properties. However, with bitcoin, this is no longer the case because even a one-dollar investment per day will make you a big-time someday. On the other hand, you need to be a millionaire to invest in gold. We have seen so much information regarding that $1 investment, how about we increased it to $3 dollar and leave it there after 5 - 10 years. Imagine how much would you earned with that little investment.

Whenever we are sharing good news about bitcoin even to our friends, I can say, it is still really hard to convince them of what bitcoin is, and how bitcoin could change their lives. Most of the time, they just only gets convinced if we show them outputs, something that could confuse them and battle with their thoughts like for example. In our family, I am the only one who uses bitcoin and cryptocurrency, I've done almost everything to tell them that in this crisis, we need to be cashless and cryptocurrency is the answer. But still, I can see my aunt washing her cash but lately when I encash my BTC (converted to fiat), that is the time they get curious.

Perhaps your friend has already been informed or even interested about Bitcoin and crypto. The greeting is basically promoting Bitcoin and crypto.

However, the line "invest in Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies" is just like the tiny tip of something enormous. It entails knowledge; it entails careful research not just of Bitcoin itself but also of how to securely access and keep it.

There must be serious disclaimers following this encouragement or, better yet, precautionary warnings. This is the overused line of scammers soliciting investments from gullible individuals in the name of Bitcoin and crypto.

Same thought actually, this kind of things usually comes from scammers. They used this short quotes that can fool those who are willing to earn a lot of money. I hope if we are sending this short quotes to our friend, let's try to elaborate more. Cause this can overhype people thinking that there are no risk in this currency. They don't have to get in right away, or invest right away. I think they should understand the currency better then decide if they are willing to invest. Cause if they lose their money, the image of bitcoin is the one who will suffer, cause they will now see it as a scam in general, making it harder for bitcoin to be seen as a decent currency.

That's nice of you, myself too understood he has forwarded it without any intention. I've got that message in his chat history. Soon I'm waiting for an opportunity to meet in person, because if I open up sometimes it might go wasted. In person means I can brief him, and let him to learn something out of the message.

It is a surprise to see a good morning message popping out from one of my friend. Its been long to get a message from him, and the message made the day. He hasn't known about bitcoin and he isn't used to it. But the message he sent has got a big information in it. He has forwarded the message even without knowing the true meaning, and the message is True.

[im g]https://i.imgur.com/wDPBOFw.jpg[/img]
You don’t just conclude that he doesn’t know the meaning of the message on this picture. Before sending this picture to you he already read what’s written on it and he knows it’s about Bitcoin, so he probably would have researched about it if he was seeing it for the first time or maybe he already knows about Bitcoin for a very long time and never wanted to let you know about it.

You even said that you have talked with him for a long time, so how sure are you that he doesn’t know anything about this Bitcoin? Man he does know about it, and this picture is a way for him to create some awareness about Bitcoin.

Well... if you're a bitcoin maximalist this is an easy to digest message. If you are not, you have to ask yourself several questions:
1) Have I analysed interesting companies on Sensex and they are all so overvalued that they are not worth my investment?
2) Is Gold overvalued or it is mainly due to inflation?
3) Are banks actually unreliable? I mean can't you make transactions? Aren't your deposit guaranteed by the state?

The message is meaningful to promote Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies so that people will start investing in them. It's funny if your friends don't know what bitcoin is. I think your friend already knows about bitcoin and has started investing. He knows the many opportunities and advantages when investing in bitcoin. More and more people know about bitcoin and feel the benefits of it.

A big truth in one picture. Your friend is right, Gold is extremely costly and we can buy only a few grams of gold.
It's not worth to invest in it and hold them for long.
Since bitcoin has hug potential than any other investment we can choose it for the long term. Anyways you should talk to your friend to involve with bitcoins too.
