This thread is a type of SALUTE to those highly-occupied and well-versed people in their own areas where they shine the most. I am talking about people like LoyceV, DdmrDdmr, TheBeardedBaby, Suchmoon and many others.

But, how does that relate to the topic?
Well, can't you see there is something common between all of them? Umm.. And what is that?

Chipmixer
A classic service in its own kind, unmatchable till date and had been advertising on this forum for years now. To be honest, I don't think that it was just money that motivated these users to post superior quality posts but their hunger of helping the community with something new every single day is what brought them the fame they deserved. While there are/were some users who gained a lot of popularity through the Chipmixer campaign where this rule of 'With money, comes fame' applies, most of them have started from scratch and LoyceV, DdmrDdmr and fillippone are the three most mind-blasting examples of how they made it to becoming a Legendary from a newbie when merit system was already implemented. Chasing that rank had never been easier for them but their hard work paid them off, both via money and fame. Actually their fame is all because of their consistency in helping each and every community member in any way they can 'and let us not forget that these guys go deep down the ground to come out with a groundbreaking reply even in scam accusations area'. This is not about the merits, not the money and definitely not their fame, it is actually about their true level of hard work which made a lot of things at one place for a newbie or any rank member to just go through their posts and learn what they (newbies) lack in themselves.

P.S.: I am very much thankful for LoyceV's enormous work towards the forum and a sincere gratitude towards TryNinja's supernatural bot.

LoyceV ~ made it to becoming a Legendary from a newbie when merit system was already implemented.
You're wrong here, I turned Legendary the month before theymos introduced the Merit system.

I am sorry with that, I thought you started from a scratch. But nonetheless, your hard work had all it takes to make you a Legendary for 6 times rather than with those airdropped merits alone. Nobody except you did the impossible, so it is truly marvellous for members like us.

Other than that: you're welcome Smiley

I am glad you landed here to take my sincere applaud for everything you have done for us. Knowledge is something which increases if shared, and you did that. Thank you again for those remarkable and highly knowledgeable threads and posts made by you. Smiley

The topic might be all about the success users here in the forum but isn't it contradict with the promotion of the other campaign to the campaign you promote OP? I was just caring for it might be a conflict of interest just to inform you about my opinion.

Anyway, I agree with you the mention above users contributed a lot for the forum and I do not know what motivation they had for been here for how many years and continue to promote the welfare of the forum. I think it is not only the project they promote for still keeping it here but their passion or love to cryptocurrency would be. I do not know how what could it be but these users are the foundations for learning about cryptocurrency. I am not also forgetting other users that had contributed to the forum of course there are many to recite them all. Sad that some legendary users here become inactive for no certain reason but I think they too had been benefited the forum for sure.

Since OP had been thanking, which means OP too benefited a lot in this forum. with money, comes fame well probably it is the way of measuring a users success in this forum. When we say earning then high chance legendary rank users had it already. Still I do believe hackers, scammer and fraud people with high amount of BTC without getting caught are more successful in cryptocurrency. LOL

I did not promote that campaign but used their name as an example in my post because I thought it was needed here and I am not fine with removing their name because this is what we are - free to speak here, and there was no rule in my campaign that I cannot use a name of a company or their campaign. I am neither advertising them in my signature nor promoting them, just used them as an example. If that would have been the issue, as I have also put names of some users, they might feel uncomfortable and might come and ask me to remove their names as they do not want to be 'advertised'?

Anyway, I agree with you the ... been benefited the forum for sure.

I know that there were many names which got missed but I only focused on the names which are seen mostly active. I am sorry to those whose names have been missed or not put by me.

You are right, earning money is possible through many ways including scamming someone, hacking some bank accounts and doing fraud, but earning dignity is what they did while putting their time and reputation ahead always.

True. They could potentially be earned a lot more money, but their "success" and their morals are soiled. Being quite interested in the social engineering side of scamming, I'm confident that I could probably do great with scamming, but I definitely wouldn't be able to sleep at night(or live with myself). I'd rather be poor and homeless. Tongue

As for ChipMixer, didn't know a campaign could last this long to be honest. Safe to assume that this campaign is helping the ChipMixer business a lot hence why it's still running after a couple of years.

Uh, no.  I think members like the ones you pointed out were accepted into the Chipmixer campaign precisely because of the quality of their posts and/or their reputations.  The Chipmixer campaign is extremely selective.

I'd also point out that if you take a look at the entire list of Chipmixer campaign participants, they're not all well-known members by any means.  Some of the newer participants' usernames I don't even recognize, which makes me wonder which sections they're posting in.

As for ChipMixer, didn't know a campaign could last this long to be honest.
Yeah, it's definitely been going on longer than a lot of other ones, although Yobit's first campaign went on for a long time, as did Secondstrade's (remember them?).

I'm not sure "fame" is the right word to use as far as bitcointalk members go--except for Satoshi, perhaps.  Some members might be more well-known, but I wouldn't call anyone here famous.

Everyone here is trying their best to deliver helpful posts in which ever ways which makes them famous, you were selected into simpleFX signature campaign because your post seems helpful and contributing same as I in Bitamp likewsie to those you mentioned above in op because we are all famous. Once a user is able to air out words of encouragement, words of corrections, words of distinctive questioning and wears btc paying signature for quietly a week, that user would be noticeable and at the same time regarded to be famous.
Chipmixer does not have only a good quality posters, so are you trying to say that chipmixer participants are only better here? No.
Chipmixer participants started from scratch and earned a hole lot 1000+ merits after merit implementation? No
So probably you may be wrong here buddy.

Everyone passes message in different boards and in different dimensions, I have passed out message in B&H board and I'm famous there as well ( I'm not hyping myself though) same as the way EdenHazard in gambling and Jet Cash in politics and society, so we are all famous.

Well, there are really some people who became corrupted once they taste the sweetness of money. Maybe on our perspective, we can't forsee oursleves doing such thing but for scammers they are already immune of guilt. That's why it won't work even how hard we try to change them. In simple words, money is everything for them and they can do anything (even seling their own soul) for it. I feel pity for them Sad.

You have a good point tho. We can be famous on our own little ways. Let's put it this way, if we are famous then members like OP mentioned and you as well can be considered super famous. Do you agree lol?

No, I don't remember Secondstrade. Grin I guess I wasn't here long enough.

True about YoBit, but they've done some shady stuff with their marketing. Thankfully for ChipMixer, it's actually a service that I'm actually proud to promote, which is definitely really nice for my conscience.

Few years and still running. I think chipmixer would last more than it is now. It did helping them cause otherwise they already stopped it. Also I think most of the CM users are quite famous for their quality contributions. Not to mentioned those AI guys and direct to the point response just like you mate. No wonder the entry level is quite high to be part of CM family.

Yeah, Chipmixer is one of long running campaigns, but we have another campaign which is active for much longer time. Crypto.Games started their campaign back in 2015, few months before I signed up on Bitcointalk. While Chipmixer is running just since 2017.
While original Yobit campaign was active from 2015 until April or May of 2019 when theymos banned their signature.

Your post is so dangerously misleading that it is every honest members duty to refute it strongly.

Now to address you bogus claims.

1. No, none of the chipmixer participants are famous or at all important in the history of bitcoin nor the forum.
2. Most of the chipmixer legend members are terrible traders and broke down bums.
3. Most of the chipmixer legend members have zero achievements of any lasting note at all.
4. Many of the chipmixer legend members are scammer protectors.
5. If you asked most chipmixer legend members to present their best original thought provoking posts that made any lasting difference they would have nothing to present that wasn't laughable.
6. Many of the chipmixer spammers are trust abusers.

The very notion that members that have been here years and years and still need to spam chipmixer sigs are not either total failures or super greedy is moronic. I mean if they are so smart and super helpful then why are they broke after 2 huge bull runs? If they are rich then why are they greedily taking all the best rev streams and hogging the best sig spots?

Chipmixer legends in this very thread are clearly motivated to post for money and have confessed this.

Even darkstar dare not face a debate on his selection choice.

Merit, dt1 and their iron fist grip on the rev share is a racket.

If you doubt any point that I have made here then then ask for the evidence and reasoning and try to rebut or successfully refute it.

Almost every nauseating eulogy and brown nosing celebration of the chipmixer goons is very misleading to the point of dangerous for the reader.

Why is this even in meta?

If you really believed in the fantasy you shared out in the OP then I am here to help you find the truth.
But if you'd prefer to shy away from reality I won't mind.

There are some okay chipmixer posters.

Red pill or Blue pill?

It really requires  a lot of effort to reach high rank now. You can easily distinguish between good and bad members by looking at the quality of posts. But the members you named made it so big because they were regular. They had been active here for years and had been contributing good posts almost daily. It is not easy to do especially if you have got full time job and other offline responsibilities.
