Suggestion to add/pinned a clear rule in Gambling section.

Hello, I have been noticing a thing for a few months that some gambling project which is not supporting bitcoin deposit/withdraw as well as any cryptocurrency too. when these projects come in bitcointalk to introduce them they post their announcement in the gambling section. After posting mods or topic creators move the thread to the perfect place.

The same things also happen in games and round. In near past some project started altcoins giveaways and they and the participants has got banned and the thread also deleted by mods. It already described by Loycev. But there is no change yet regarding this.

So, my suggestion/opinion is what will if there is any clear rule/pinned post in both gambling section and game and rounds that ''website which does not support bitcoint deposit/withdrawal can not create/promote them here'' or something like this with better wording?

In my opinion it's really essential. Atlest it will help to reduce the mistake by projects team.

I think this rule/pinned post alone will not help because the mods will move them to altcoin sections which are full of spam 'mostly' and to remove the confusion, the admins should allow a new sub-board in altcoins section - Gambling (Altcoins) and Gambling Discussion (Altcoins) as these two sections will only have the projects which do not support Bitcoins and have altcoins only in their sites. It is also good if the pinned message in main gambling section contains text like - Only Bitcoin-based gambling projects allowed in this part, rest should be made under Gambling (Altcoins) section.

I don't think this is even required, as long as they pay in Bitcoin for their on-forum promotion. So a website that accepts Skittles as a payment system and offers 0.00001 BTC to the user who posts the most Skittles pictures would be okay

Gambling section does need some updating and cleaning, including gambling discussion.
I fully support idea of moving ann for projects that don't accept bitcoin to altcoin thread, and this works now only if we report this topics to moderators.
Pinned post will maybe help a bit, but people don't read so I expect this to continue in future.

Maybe adding Altcoin Gambling section would be a good idea also.

The idea is quite good for me. Because most projects are just promoting their project on the forum, I believe they aren't friendly enough to read the forum rules. Running altcoin giveaway on the games & round section is an immediate red flag to the moderators and it has been leading an account ban eventually. So a sticky thread would help project teams to understand the rules at least for a board where they are going to promote their platforms. I know everyone should read the forum rules though, but something is better than nothing.

Maybe adding Altcoin Gambling section would be a good idea also.

Not a bad idea since the forum has been allowing create announcement thread on bounty thread on the forum. So I think a child board for Altcoin Gambling is considerable.

It makes sense however our forum is crypto related so only gambling platform that has crypto into it should be allowed in promoting their websites in here. I did not see this, I though every casino advertising in the forum has bitcoin or etherem integrated to their platform.

I think it's not bad idea. I'm not sure how often such topics appear there, but if it happens often, then probably it's a problem, which should be solved somehow. Because now it's not obvious that Gambling is only for projects which support Bitcoin. For now we can only report these topics.
But there is another issue. There is no dedicated place for gambling in altcoin board. There is only Service announcement/discussion boards for all kind of altcoin services. So, maybe some altcoin casinos advertised in Bitcoin board not because of ignorance of rules, but in order to get more visibility than in altcoin board.

If gambling section is purely for btc related casinos then there is a big revision needed to be made since Ive mentioned that some of them already incorporate altcoins. Maybe better to stick with it for a while and let mods analyse if the suggestion is feasible and could benefit the forum.

So what if they accept Bitcoin + altcoins?
It is important that they accept Bitcoin first and if they want they can add all other coins after that.
Some platform are only accepting altcoins and that is not acceptable in Bitcoin Gambling section.

there has been a suggestion before but I don't think they have considered doing it. although the idea would definitely benefit gamblers looking for an altcoin gambling site and altcoin gambling casino owners to have a better advertisement/exposure in the forum. it would also present the common problem most boards have in this forum.
