We're talking about Trump's own words. I quit watching the debate early on but I watched the clip of the exchange about white supremacists so that I could see what the fuss is all about. There is no fake news about it. Trump did not condemn white supremacists.

And nearly two days later he still hasn't condemned people who "who believe that the white race is inherently superior to other races and that white people should have control over people of other races" when he clearly had enough time for someone to tell him what it means and why it's bad, if we were to believe that the president wouldn't know such things.

The problem is likely the expansion of the term "White Supremacist" in the last year or two to include virtually all whites.

Wallace was also deflecting from the massive violence of the last six months, virtually all of which had nothing to do with such organizations.

Both statements are completely false - "white supremacists" doesn't mean and never meant all white people, and Wallace wasn't deflecting anything, he was asking a very simple question. "I condemn white supremacists" - how hard could it possibly be?
