Are there any crypto gambling sites that have a UK license?

I have not found any, but reading all the horror stories of punters being scammed and not paid, it really would be an huge benefit.
The drawback would be, I think, it would undoubtedly have to be kyc, but many punters kyc with firms anyway.

Sites with a uk license would not get up to all these shenanigans, and if they did could easily be taken to the smc, or similiar.

Quick google search resulted to
Top 5 Bitcoin Casinos In The UK

1. William Hill – play with a name you recognise from the high street for maximum peace of mind.

2. Mansion Casino – one of the biggest online casino operations in the UK.

3. 22 Bet – partake in some Bitcoin-funded sportsbetting if you fancy a break from the casino.

4. Casino Joy – huge selection of games backed by a very solid setup.

5. NetBet.com – enjoy all forms of online gambling with Bitcoin here. One of the first Bitcoin casinos UK players could enjoy.
But yeah I think most platforms here are registered in Curacao.

When it comes to KYC, even those that are not registered in UK would require it if they need to in compliance with AML policy. They probably just do it less often than those UK based casinos.

It doesn't matter which site you take and which betting directory it has. Any serious business will always put in the terms that a KYC is mandatory thin. Then the country of the company really doesn't matter. All you have to do is look at the reputation. By the way, I think this is off topic as this is a license question, and not explicitly from gambling.

What is your intention? Do you want to place bets on sports betting sites but do not pass the KYC or a site that does not have this?

I think it is on topic, as gamblers need all the protection of their funds than can be gained.
Probably the most important criteria there is, so the more that realise protection for punters in the UK is as good as anywhere, the  better for them

Much more important than a free bet that you have to play through 50 times.

My intention is to bet on sports with btc, with or without kyc, but I want to know the coin balance is  safe and will not be thieved by the site.

If that's what you want then don't hassle yourself finding a specific UK license website.

Here in crypto gambling, there are lots of sports betting sites you can "trust". Building a reputation is so hard. No way these reputable sites will just throw away their name for the money easily.

And even with UK licensed sites, honestly, how sure we are they will not turn into scammed someday. Once we put our money on third-party sites, we don't control it. Risk is always there so stick with those reputable ones.

If you're playing with a bookmaker who has a reputable name, then this is nothing to worry about. What you should not do is deposit your coins with the first best bookmaker. If you are considering playing with a bookmaker, I would first consult reviews on the internet to see what is being written about this bookmaker. If you then have a good feeling about a bookmaker, you can decide to make some deposits here.

Well, that is very hard to find a legit one. Perhaps if there is, --it is unregulated in the UK since most gambling companies there are not regulated. The concern is being anonymity of the players since most online gambling has allowed using bitcoin or other cryptos that also have anonymity. However, I saw only one gambling site that successfully operated in the UK. [ https://www.gamblingsites.com/top/uk/ ].

If there is a regulated gambling site in the UK, possible that is under-regulated and it is very strict on having KYC verification.

But yeah I think most platforms here are registered in Curacao.
and the reason for is because it the easiest and maybe the cheapest to get among other gambling licenses to out there.

When it comes to KYC, even those that are not registered in UK would require it if they need to in compliance with AML policy. They probably just do it less often than those UK based casinos.
true

@OP if you still haven't found what you are looking for you can try the most popular crypto sports betting site out there. but make sure you read their ToC since most of the ones that are complaining not getting paid broke of the gambling site ToC in one way or another.

Dude AFAIK there are really less gambling sites that have UK licensed and operating on UK except what already have mentioned above. Curacao is the most popular in gambling as it has less requirement in making an online gambling platform. Also did a little research about UK and Curacao license and its comparison and which is much better. If you wanna read it, better check out - https://www.tentonhammer.com/articles/playing-on-online-casinos-curacao-vs-uk-what-is-the-difference

Hope that my mentioned article helped you with your question. Lock this thread if you were satisfied.

The reason a particular company seeks jurisdiction to operate also has to do with which countries you can offer your service to. In the UK, different laws and regulations will undoubtedly apply than in Curacao or Malta. It therefore also depends very much on the target group which license you would like to take. And maybe your budget too. When people focus on crypto gambling, it seems to me that Curacao is the simplest solution, given the cost. Many companies start in Curacao, and later switch to other countries to take out a license there. Then they can expand their service and address certain countries that are not allowed from the Curacao point of view.

It basically says if you are a site with bad intentions, then a Curaco license is very good
Obviously not all casinos with Curaco are likely bad.

that just depends on how you look at something like that. you can also turn it around that companies knowingly license the UK or Malta so that they create some form of schin security, which gives them more play because customers would assume it would be safer there. that is complete madness. a casino is so good and reliable based on people's opinions (reputation). when i'm going to play somewhere i want to make sure i'm playing on a legal site that has the correct license. and then study the reviews on google

I think you are underestimating the power of the uk gambling commision,  a shady firm dissing with punters like the stories you hear, would soon enough have no UK license, unlike a Curaco license

You can also find the List of TOP 20 Cryptocurrency Betting&Gambling Sites here: http://sportstatist.com/top-20-cryptocurrency-betting-sites-eng/

However, keep in mind that UK Licensed Betting&Gambling Sites generally do not allow anonymous registration.

There's a list of top crypto casinos here but like all other comments on here I'm not sure how much clarity on the subject this provides. There are certainly ones I never hear of from this new website, and it just makes you wonder that finding casinos with licences and regulations in a country like UK where the laws are more firm is very difficult.

Almost like these casinos find a small window and register in places like Curacao, while still having ties to some other country. The best advice I can give is to stick to casinos that have a good user base, reputation and has been running for a while. I just find transfer to new places a whole lot more difficult, when there are other options, probably less risky too, out there.

Agree. And to solve that, as OP says the purpose is to bet on sports with BTC, with or without KYC and wants to know if funds are safe, then choose from popular gambling sites today that's running for several years now. As with my own view, it's hard for me to trust those gambling sites even with a UK license as my information to them is very limited compare to those famous crypto gambling sites that already established a big community in the forum.

But still, if OP wants a UK licensed gambling site then have a DYOR about the reputation of that specific site. After all, we can't force OP to choose those popular names in the world of crypto sports betting sites.
