I think it is on topic, as gamblers need all the protection of their funds than can be gained.
Probably the most important criteria there is, so the more that realise protection for punters in the UK is as good as anywhere, the  better for them

You have a point you just want to protect your earnings and you want to feel comfortable that you are playing in a site that has a full compliant, we all want that way, but majority of the best gambling sites do not have license in UK they rely heavily on their reputation on attracting new users, if you are playing by the rules, you have nothing to worry about, reputable gambling site will see to it that you are treated fairly.

I only know of NetBet. NetBet holds two licenses:
1 from the Malta Gaming Authority, and another one from the Great Britain Gambling Commission. I am very certain that you will need to verify your real identity with this site though.

Then only play on gambling site that has a huge reputation and with no bad reports on them, only new and unknown gambling sites will steal from their players, you cannot expect a good gambling site to steal or ban account without a valid reason, know your assignation is to find good gambling site and things will be easy.

I have not found any, but reading all the horror stories of punters being scammed and not paid, it really would be an huge benefit.
The drawback would be, I think, it would undoubtedly have to be kyc, but many punters kyc with firms anyway.

Sites with a uk license would not get up to all these shenanigans, and if they did could easily be taken to the smc, or similiar.

The reason why it hard for you to find UK licensed gambling site is that the UK license is more expensive than malta, curacao etc. but if the reason why you're looking UK license gambling site was because you want to avoid scam gambling site why don't use one of the reputable gambling sites that's currently running a signature campaign on this forum?
