Real Madrid 1-1 Chelsea

It was raining heavily in Madrid, both teams had a difficult pitch to contend with because of the rain therefore it was not a classic or one to remember. It ended it with a draw but Chelsea have the away goal advantage.

Chelsea had a good game in the first half but not taking their chances. Madrid can fire all cylinders in the second half and the blues may rue the chances they have had.

@Marykeller I guess I was wrong as all here had said that this match would end up in a draw, and it was not that entertaining too due to rains and lack of finishing skills. Also currently it’s advantage for Chelsea as all they’ll need to do is defend hard in the second leg, and in the process eliminate RM, however this is difficult in reality so really excited for their next meet.

At the start of the match it seemed like this match would be won by Chelsea, because of the many opportunities the Chelsea players could create in front of the Courtois goal but the final score of 1-1 I think was a fair enough result for last night's match because even though Madrid seemed more dominant in possession However, Chelsea is superior in getting a shot on target, it looks like the second leg will be a pretty exciting match because with a 1-1 draw at home, of course Madrid are required to play totally attacking to get the goal and of course Chelsea who are more benefited now, of course preferring total defense with counterattack.

First time in this thread and I want to start and very intrigued with Man City and against a fellow tough team PSG on who more viable in winning, but upon reviewing and researching predictions and comments about these two teams I was right this fight is unpredictable to conclude a win I can say both with have 2-2 goals and the game may end up in a draw, even though PSG's Keylor Navas and Marco Veratti have returned due to injury it will be a good fight I really like Man City but judging how good of a form PSG have right now I am not so sure who's going to win this.

On impact alone I think Tuchel took an average Chelsea team and took them on a fantastic EPL run and has almost guaranteed them European football next season, possibly Champions League or at very least Europa League. He deserves to be in the final especially after being the loser in the final last season.

Pochettino has done well by handling highly paid megastars and bringing them on the verge of the final he also deserves to be in the final too.

Zidane had had to work hard to stay in contention to win La Liga with Real Madrid and is on the verge of another final, he also deserves to be there after a tough season.

As for Guardiola, he won two Champions Leagues as manager of Barcelona in 2009 and 2011 but never won it again either at Bayern Munich or at Manchester City. After everything he gave for Manchester City he deserves to be there too.

Having said all that I think Real Madrid vs PSG would make a more entertaining final than having Manchester City or Chelsea involved.

I guess your opinion or prediction won't play out. There's every tendency that the finals (UEFA Champions League) will be between Manchester City and Chelsea. Which at the end Chelsea will carry the trophy.
Football is unpredictable but this time we will be seeing another two English team (premiere league) playing against each other at the finals

A heated battle between Man City and PSG both team really is in the groove on defense but PSG is very aggressive at first so Marquinhos landed the first score the heated battle ends the first half with 1-0, Well when the 2nd half started I never thought that Man City will not take a score until Bruyne delivers an all way in the shot, PSG's goalkeeper never really expected that to happen, Then Mahrez delivering a penalty shot that takes the victory of Man City,

This is really unexpected I thought that Man City will never turn the tables but I really think that PSG is a formidable opponent and by that game, I am expecting PSG to really win.

Manchester City won the first leg 1-2 therefore even if they lose 0-1 tonight they will go through because they have two important away goals. I think PSG will win the game and will go to the final after extra time.

Manchester City have beaten PSG 2-0 this evening and won 4-1 on aggregate. If Chelsea beat Real Madrid tomorrow it will be another all English final in the Champions League.

This PSG team playing like a woman with cramps.
Otherwise nothing spectacular in their game plan. They play confidently from behind and end up only in the midfield. Unless they change play now and be more purposeful. frivolity for them.
Man City has an excellent game plan and they are executing it well. Keep PSG in their half for long spells. Allow them to break once a while and that's it

Chelsea deserves the win. They played very well like the champions.
The return leg of the match was very easy for Chelsea to penetrate their defense. I thought Ramos would have made a huge impact in their defense since he didn't play the first leg.
Zidane did nothing to change the dynamics. Madrid was playing fine and scaling without Hazard until he decided to be fit. I guess by now Hazard will be regretting his move to Real Madrid cos he thought the championship league is far away for Chelsea to actualize.

Well done to Chelsea for being the unexpected 2021 European Champions League winners. What a turn of events after Chelsea sacked Lampard and brought Tuchel as his replacement to manage the team.
