Same here, I lost a lot in the last few weeks playing BlackJack so I need to take a step back. For now I am back to doing micro stake dice games just to get a little bit of bankroll again. The good thing about Dice is you can bet almost any amount you like and still get a huge win.

The forum is filled with tips from other gamblers, but the problem is that even with the best strategy there is still plenty of luck involved in the games. In my opinion having a fixed strategy is the right way to start gambling.

These kind of sheer luck happened for me in the past, in dice when i was rolling 9900x and when i was about to bust everything i ended up hitting the valuation which i never expected and in jackpot slots when i least expect i end up winning $400 to $700 and it is nothing big but these are lucky rolls which i never expected because i was trying out new games.

It actually happens especially in dice. No one expected that you will win even after you know to yourself that you will lose the game. It also happens to me before, I did not expect to win due to having a lose streak, I end up betting all my remaining funds and did not expect to win all my losses that day.

I think that it is because of your luck comes at the right time to win. But if you get another loss after one more round, then you still do not have luck on that day. Most people will come back again to that games the other day because they are curious about their luck, and they want to see if their luck will come to them on that day or they still get another loss.

High roller or not, we should not bet all of your remaining funds because that will cause you to lose all money in one round. It is advisable if you can use lower money to bet.

I used to make fairly big (four digit in USD) bets about 15 years ago. There wasn't any particular event that made me tone it down, I just was no longer wowed by the casino buzz after a while. All this talk about luck and strategies. It all ends up just being math and having a n/x chance. If you want bigger payout increase the x or the difficulty. If you want smaller winnings and better odds increase the n. I agree there should be a strategy on how to place you bets depending on your play style but I think a lot of gamblers think their "strategy" can increase their luck (ie probability of an outcome).

Everything is relative. In different countries, the level of bets in different casinos may vary greatly. I can hardly be classified as a high roller. I play primarily for fun. I always plan the amount that I can spend today when playing at the casino. This is why I never bet large amounts at a time. Strategy is something that will really just prolong your game specially if dealing with luck based ones but there are games which do really need some skills and knowledge to make out some money.

When it comes to high-roller question then it will vary from person to person because not all will really have the same depth towards into their own pocket.

For me, I do just bet on the amount that I can afford to lose which it isn't really that big since im just a regular worker and cant afford to lose my 1 month salary in one go.

These stroke of luck doesn't come every day which makes me not a high roller, sort of especially if I'm not accustomed to the mechanics of the game I'm playing. I'm better at putting in small bets then slowly accumulating my earnings in that way. It's a win-win situation if I earn, and I don't suffer that big if I lose. High-rollers are only like that because a. They have a lot of disposable cash, and b. they are really good at the game they are playing.

It depends upon one's strategy. If he wants to be a minimum roller then let him be. I know that gambling takes a lot of risks but ofcourse it is not that we're afraid of losing, we are just being strategic on how we can earn more money through gambling. There are different types of gambler and not being a high roller doesn't mean that you are poor in gambling. There's nothing wrong with high rolling, but if you think of it, gamblers don't have the same financial capabilities. You cannot just depend on luck all the time, you're like trying to say that bet it all in order to win bigger. Just like martingale system, don't expect it to be working if you only got $20 with you and your default bet is $1, there'll be time that you'll run out of luck winning the next draw opposite as what you anticipated.

I consider high rollers a badge they are well taken care of and considered as a special guest on casinos and they have a mark in onoline casinos, I love to be a high roller but my funds will not show that I can be a high roller, I'm just a regular spinner who enjoy my game and accept whatever outcome there is.

I would consider this a high roller. I try to stay as close to the minimum bet amount as I can, so I only bet in single and low double digit dollar amounts

Once I was a high roller, and used to spend upto 0.1 btc per roll. Most of the time maximum roll value happens with martingale strategy. I encountered a massive loss out of gambling and the same has made me go low on rolls. Right now the maximum bet value doesn't exceed $10.

Really unbelievable, just simply misclicking on the under/over button can lead to a divine win. Some people really are born lucky, I should have work for 8 months to get such a salary. I know it is not a fair comparison, but it hurts somewhere inside me and I can feel something has been broken after checking the details of random win. It is usually the opposite for me. Whenever I misclicked it always got me wiped out. On YOLOdice I lost all my ETH because I thought I was gambling with Dogecoin. On FreeBitco.in I have lost some BTC because I accidentally had jackpots turned on and it costs extra if you want to play for jackpots. There's also been times where I've been off by a decimal place and wagered 10x more than I meant to.

Yes, that's right but for me, if a person or gambler has deposited more than $500 and made a bet of at least around $70-$100, I guess that's already part of the high roller. If we look up I don't think there will be a limit and therefore every gambling site has at least a limit on the amount of the bet applied. So, with the amount of money that is said to be in the $50-$500 range already high, it is clear that those who can bet higher than that value are high roller gamblers, because not all gamblers can consistently bet at $50 and above, therefore when they can be consistent betting $50 and above I think is part of the high roller.

I believe it too on which into those numbers then it would really be considered as a high roller. $50 above or even $30 will already be considered to be on that category.
Not everybody will able to make out consistent and long duration betting into those amount.Only a few which are financially capabled will able to do so.
In my case, im not really a high roller yet the maximum amount i can risk of  on each roll neither on dice or slots or even on roulette is only $1-2 which is
really just my limit or capacity to do so.Lets face up the reality that there are rich people and average ones which does mean that it is really comparable

It would be interesting to know the opinion (statistics) of bookmakers on this matter. I think that the top 10 percent of all players are considered high rollers automatically, so their average bet could be a guideline in order to accurately understand the level at which a player becomes a high roller.
