Even if someone makes one, it is probably not going to work as effective as we all imagined and might even break something else in your body.

2024 isn't that long we have waited for almost forever already for some HIV vaccine that still hasn't invented yet even today.
There was an article lately that I came across which the ingredients of the vaccine come from sharks, which we may have to kill thousands of sharks soon to create more vaccine.

Vaccines for every single person around the world does not seem as something necessary to me, we need enough vaccines to protect all of those that have been shown to be more vulnerable to develop important symptoms when getting the disease, this for the most part means the elderly needs to be vaccinated, according to what I have read 9% of the population around the world is above 65 years old, with a population of 7.8 billion this means we need 702 million vaccines, this should be possible during the next year, while the rest could be unnecessary or at least not as big of a priority as the first billion vaccines.

Well, for the reason that we have different alternative medicines that will perhaps cure us of the virus infection and vaccines is no make sense if we can heal ourselves. Perhaps this news will begin to have panic selling in the market. Impacts are already seen just by staying of the virus in half a year, 4 years would be a lot difficult I must say. But I think we could turn to a normal routines gradually, we don't need an exact numbers of vaccine as the whole population in the world, we need to prioritize people who is at risk of catching the virus, those who has weak immune system and the old ones. If anyone think that creating a new Vaccine is a cake walk then they are in for a hard reality. All the pharmaceutical companies are after the Vaccine but it will take a long time as they need to conduct numerous test which will take over an year or two even if the Vaccine is developed and then to manufacture it on a global scale it will take some more time and hence you need to learn to live and adapt according to the situation rather than waiting for a vaccine.

When creating a new vaccine then it wouldnt really be that too simple and would really just require small amount of time.Basing off on how many trials should be done then that would really be a long process just like other vaccines are created.As said that we cant really say that it is already available since its had been tested and it do work.There are lots of phases to be passed first before on making a production. If vaccine would be created in 2024 at least then i cant imagine on what would be the world looks like. Number of infected person would shoot up to the roof but somewhat there are lots of pharmaceutical companies would really be rushing out to create the cure yet this would involved in a multibillion business for sure.

a vaccine for all humans worldwide. It takes 4 years for everyone to get the vaccine, this is a smart way to make the price of

I just watched from a media company through FB that the Chinese government, the manufacturer of their vaccine can produce at least 600 million of doses of vaccine by the end of the year.

And for the next year, it will increase by a billion and more. But there are other manufacturers too that aims to produce a billion just like Pfizer and Moderna.

It's indicated on this article: China aims to make 1 billion COVID-19 vaccine doses a year.

What's interesting is that they're already talking about manufacturing which means to say, that we have the vaccine already.  

I wish that things will get back to normal again even if it will take to 2024 but with modern technology, I believe that it will become faster.

This is actually a great stand that can oppose the statement of the CEO Mr. Poonwala. This could actually mean that they're now fighting over the credibility of the vaccine, due to the statements given by the CEO himself. Because, for what I've read, his statements implied that vaccines normally takes really long for it to be announced in public "safe and viable". Ergo, they are now competing for the market .

It really takes a lot of time for a vaccine to be labeled as safe and working. But with all of the testing trials that's being conducted in different parts of the world and with several pharmaceutical companies, the process becomes easier and quicker.

As much as they also wants some shortcut, the whole process has been made and many are in the last phase of trials. But the twist is that they all talk about manufacturing which is exciting but this is another process and shall take a long time too, from manufacturing to distribution.

My impression is that investors have priced in a miraculously fast vaccine development timeline, expecting widespread vaccination within 1-2 years of the pandemic's onset. I always thought that was unrealistic.

There are countries that claim that the vaccine can be finished next year, some say it is four years from now, and my own country says it is making a covid-19 vaccine and is in the final stages of testing.  This makes me very confused about the veracity of this vaccine itself.  Is there really a vaccine for Covid?  who really invented the covid-19 vaccine?  when will the vaccine really be finished?  This confusion has even worsened the psychological state of the community, they no longer believe in Covid-19, especially with the vaccine.  So that the number of victims of Covid continues to increase because of the decline in public awareness of the dangers of Covid itself.

Many of the health agencies are saying that they will approve a potential vaccine, if it's proven to be 50% to 70% effective. I think that the pharma companies expect to have something like the flu vaccines. People will have to get it at around 2 weeks before the "expected outbreak period" to be effective.
Hence it's pretty cheap for how new it is.

The politicians who decide have advisors for this kind of stuff. And the advisors are obviously people from the pharma industry.

Isn't HIV antiviral therapy really expensive? It was when it was first developed anyway. Remdesivir (an HIV treatment) is being used as a COVID-19 therapy but has been widely criticized as being too expensive.

AFAIK there are countries that are already made COVID free and this is a good thing but there are a few of it are cant survive this pandemic outbreak, and we don't know what is happening.
