I don't know why people are still talking about this 2024 deadline. Many of the vaccine manufacturers have announced that they are about to finish the final phase trials and the market availability will start within the next one to two months. We can expect everyone to be vaccinated by the end of 2021. But I am now more concerned about the huge economic implication. For the developing nations, this is going to be a very costly exercise.

I think the issue here is not about the time and date of the actual vaccine to be created, but the date on when it can be distributed to the whole mass on earth. Distributing a large amount of vaccine cannot be possible in just a short amount of, also if they would be selfish enough, this company will take their time to only create a limited amount of vaccine for the price to increase drastically. As they can perceive that the amount of demands are very mast, they can control the numbers as they can be the one to produce the vaccine in the world. Ergo, it will be a battle for wealth, and who can purchase the vaccine.

I'm afraid because it takes too long before they've made a vaccine that will cure COVID-19, our chances to live a long life will decrease. Also, it's possible in the near future to have another virus spreading all over the world, the extinction of humanity might occur.

I hope that there are other ways to fasten the release of COVID-19 vaccines with complete and successful trials.

People doesn't need to panic, if they do, I hope their panic would help them to be more careful when going out. I guess we are living like this for a year but I don't think it will reach around 2024, hopeful. There are a lot of ongoing vaccines and I think a few of them will succeed to develop a safe one by next year or by 2022. I think this will be the main issues with vaccines in the next year. There are multiple reports of people infected with the corona virus who were cured a few month back. It seems that immunity is not lasting. So any vaccine we might get in 2021 might just be useless after 6 months when the virus is mutating. I am afraid that the coronavirus could become the new flu.

To be fair, the virus is completely new and since then, researchers have been painstakingly working in order to get a viable virus vaccine. And until then, you can't just outright give it to the public because you'll be risking possible side-effects that slipped off of clinical trials.

If greediness or the interest of money is what they value over the health of the people, this is what will happen, we need to wait until the demand will increase which is at the expense of people getting ill and some have died before they will release the virus.

The chief executive of the world’s largest vaccine manufacturer has warned that not enough Covid-19 vaccines will be available for everyone in the world to be inoculated until the end of 2024 at the earliest.

Adar Poonawalla, CEO of the Serum Institute of India, has warned that it will take at least four years to make enough Covid-19 vaccines for the entire world, according to an interview in the Financial Times.

In an interview to Financial Times, Adar Poonawalla, chief executive of Serum Institute, the world’s largest vaccine producer, has said it will take till the end of 2024 for everyone in the world to be inoculated. Poonawalla told FT that pharmaceutical firms the world over were not ramping up capacity fast enough to deliver the vaccine faster than that.

"It's going to take four to five years until everyone gets the vaccine on this planet," Poonawalla said.

Due to scarcity of vaccine supply there would only be limited number of vaccine that will be distributed to each country and if these vaccine have been distributed unfairly then each country may fight for it and may start war I hope that these won't lead to another disaster.

Many countries believe that Covid 19 vaccines will save them from the situation, thus making some sort of unclear, and unconcise plan to slowdown, and fight the virus.

As of now every country are straggling to survive and putting everything to lessen the number of infected each day.

This news might actually cause panic in our world, especially to those who believes in the vaccine.

Its sure is! But I'm sure that the world government have already their plan to solved these issues.

In my thoughts, this statements by the CEO was released for different countries and its citizens to not get their hopes up and expect an immediate delivery of the vaccine once the trial is all done. But it's just a way of my own thinking seeing that there are many countries conducting research about the vaccine.

People are mostly going outside from home for ensuing their daily needs for survival. Some of them don't have enough money then they are going to income to survive. Students are remaining at home and having online classes though but what about them who don't have enough internet access? Or we are failed to give them proper network area. So we are still fearing Covid-19 and waiting for the vaccine too.

The public would be very much in chaos once they knew that it would take 2024 to be able to produce such vaccine. Most especially now that majority of the countries, particularly the developing countries are relying on the vaccine to stop and control the pandemic in their community.

During the early part of this pandemic crisis, the health sector admitted that it would really take time for them to produce a good quality vaccine safe for consumption to combat covid-19. Based on researches, vaccines are normally produce within 4-5 years. The medicine field are now doing extra jobs and maximizing their capacities just to provide a vaccine as soon as possible.

Pharmaceuticals are doing extensive research and using great manpower and resources to produce a vaccine hopefully by next year. There were vaccines that has passed several stages already. However, its effectiveness still isn’t guaranteed since majority of which hasn’t completed the human trial stage to declare it safe and effective to distribute and administer.

On the other hand, the hospitals in each country are doing their best to do possible remedies and treatments for those who are declared positive from the virus. If ever vaccine would be produced hopefully next year, the first world countries would be the ones to receive it first because of bidding system. After all, producing vaccine is still a business. I just wish that the health workers in developing countries would still be able to handle the covid cases until there’s already enough to be distributed to them.
