Here in India, the government is already taking the necessary steps to vaccinate its citizens who are above 60 years of age. On top of that the high-priority groups such as medical professionals and students may get the priority. In total, 300 million people are expected to get vaccinated in the next 4-5 months. At this pace, by the end of next year almost everyone here will be vaccinated against COVID 19.

Still, there has no vaccine for coronavirus and we are living with fear. The economic growth is not satisfactory. We don't know when the vaccine will be created for us to apply, still, it is on trial. So, it can not be said particularly that the vaccine will come today or tomorrow or next week or next month or year. We are expecting to come soon shortly.
I don't think we're leaving in fear right now because jobs continue again and many people are going back to their business. The only difference is some of them are working from home and having online classes. People want to live and they shouldn't be fear on COVID-19, they need money to survive. The vaccine is still not yet guaranteed if it has complete trials, there are still risk to it.

But I'm still hoping that they manage to create a COVID-10 vaccine so the pandemic will stop now.
People are mostly going outside from home for ensuing their daily needs for survival. Some of them don't have enough money then they are going to income to survive. Students are remaining at home and having online classes though but what about them who don't have enough internet access? Or we are failed to give them proper network area. So we are still fearing Covid-19 and waiting for the vaccine too.

That's reality and we cannot force them up to stay at home since for sure the calling of hungry stomach is much important rather than being afraid of the virus.

Although the system for now is not perfect but for sure many learn a lesson from it and learn to adopt the new changes in technology as well our daily life.

But fear from people is normal and we cannot do anything from it but to wait the vaccine and hopefully we can see the successful one release next year.

Will the vaccine to be distributed in India really prove effective?  Because as far as I know that generally vaccine development takes 8 to 10 years.  However, if seen from the words of James Cutrell, the vaccine can be made faster, at least it takes between 12-18 months and this is a realistic calculation and based on optimism.  So how can India be sure it is really effective?  what steps are taken for the vaccine trial?  because if it's carelessly, it's dangerous.  Honestly, now I doubt that the vaccine will be effective.

Are you kidding me, India have a billion population and even if anyone develop a vaccine do you have any idea how long it will take to reach a billion vaccine being produced for commercial use. You need to rethink about your stats about vaccinating everyone because it is practically impossible within a year let alone in the next 5 years.
To be frank it looks like a political statement rather than facts because it is impossible.

That's true. They probably want to calm the society down and show they're doing something but in reality they know that people will get infected before they are able to vaccinate them. With the current rate it's going to infect half of the world population in the next 2 years and by the time they vaccinate people there will be a new mutation for which a completely new vaccine will have to be made. The virus isn't that dangerous if you're healthy. They should rather distribute vitamins instead of dreaming about vaccines.

I think so too. To me they are only trying to keep the panic low which seems to be a good thing but it can also make people more careless about the virus.

The mutation is already in the news. I don't know really but I wouldn't get surprised if this whole vaccine stuff turns out to be a joke.

You dont need to vaccine everyone. If you vaccine old and sick you basically reduced 80% of patients that lay in hospitals. Maybe even more then 80%. Young that gets covid-19 dont even show symptoms. they dont caught and sneeze, so there is low chance to transfer virus to others. Billion vaccines ( or two since you need 2 shoots) will do a lot. If we get them to people before next autumn we will win! Oh and yes pharmaceutical companies can make billion of them.

Seems like the noises around about the virus had plumetted down or people arent already get afraid with it.Basing of on the current condition or situation
here on my country where lock downs and quarantine periods had been removed which basically means that we are already in the normal state but somehow
its normal for people to wear up facemask and faceshield as this is would be the new normal.Vaccine isnt available yet and it wont really be just the reason
for people to stop on going to their jobs.We have to deal with it and leave with it this is why having a strong immune system is most recommended.

I would assume that it is going to take 6 to 12 months, and not 5 years as you claimed. India is one of the largest manufacturers of generic drugs and with the advancement in pharmaceutical technology, the time required for mass production of vaccines has been reduced. India previously had mass vaccination programs for diseases such as Polio and they were very successful.

why not enough? reportedly in 2021 the corona virus vaccine is ready to be circulated,
yesterday the news was on the internet, and caused the price of Bitcoin to fall,
you have to prepare if the vaccine is available in 2021, maybe the crypto currency market will be volatile again.

Instead of adding to fearmongering, we should be happy that the possibility of a vaccine has been achieved so fast - there are many diseases where solutions have still not been found after decades of research. It was inevitable that a worldwide roll-out would take many years to complete and wouldn't necessarily be distributed in the fairest manner. What articles like this fail to explain adequately is that the benefits of gradual vaccination can have exponential effects - where even if 30% of the population at vaccinated at one point, that means that there are 30% less people who may be passing it on to you. Nobody should expect overnight results but the success of the vaccine so far is very encouraging news and should be applauded.

I don't think that there is still no or not enough vaccine for covid 19 virus until 2024 because I always heard from the news that there will be an available vaccine by next year. Also many of vaccines for covid 19 is already in the final phase of trials. Maybe not all are going to be vaccinated by next year but atleast it will reduce the spread of the virus. The important is every country will be having this vaccine and not only prioritize the large and developed countries because everyone needs the vaccine.

I hope so too that the vaccine will be distributed on an international level immediately. To really contain the corona pandemic it's not about giving everyone the vaccine but the high risk people and potential super spreaders. If we give vaccine to people who come into contact with many people though out the day, it will be a great start. Giving the vaccine to medical staff should be the first priority.
