But can say that pandemic has bought some changes the way big institutions and millionaires used to think before and have change their opine on bitcoin and has now accepted and invested in them as well. This is also one of the reasons prices is rapidly increasing and might touch 20k soon. Feels good that decision to continue holding bitcoin despite some financial crunch in between yielding some profits with the price rise.

If you are new in bitcoin then yes it is a new form of investment like an  asset or gold but FYI bitcoin is already more than 10 years old so I would not likely to say if people investing in bitcoin for more than 10 years. Timings matter like always so very important to enter near about at right levels else you end up buying at high price and then it falls and keep holding for longer duration. I would say yes and there's no doubt that is the perfect investment right now simply because it is not like any asset you can find in the stock market, in other words, it is decentralized and the value is determined by the demand and supply. However, in dealing with this Bitcoin investment prior knowledge is necessary, without there's a chance for your investment on a verge of danger. Yes bitcoin is the new investment but it needs knowledge, understanding and patience in order to gain profit and not loses.
