Secondly, your best bet is to get in touch with the exchange in question, nobody here will be able to help recover any funds unfortunately.

If your last payment went to your old wallet address and it belongs to an exchange them you will have to contact the customer care of the exchange to help you sort it out as you had no idea there was changes otherwise I do not think sir Hhampuz can do anything about it because that was the wallet you presented for payment which he has already done his part by making payment as required of him.
You can contact your exchange to help you retrieve your payment as they've full custody of the wallet keys they could help you out.
