I guess everyone of us has been affected, may it be our job or our businesses. Though not everyone has lost their jobs/business, there are some who has retained but are forced to work on skeleton work shift like me.
So, it's safe to say that everyone of us have been in a tough position financially this year, but as the time passes by, after the spread of virus there a lot of adjustments done to salvage the economic and financial state of every household. The most common source to make an extra income today is through online sideline jobs, and cryptocurrency is amongst those.

Everything is unstable as long as there is a pandemic. Businesses halted operations due to supply problems. Supplies for a specific business takes too long to arrive beacuse of the tight security and of course shipment crews needs to be quarantined everytime they cross borders. That is why small businesses are affected and we workers as well. I know the only thing that will help me survive this crisis is cryptocurrency that is why I am active here again because fiat had failed me.

What is your story with fiat and cryptocurrency during pandemic? This is again the battle of centralized and decentralized assets and activity in the middle of a crisis. In your own experiences and opinion which of the two will win?

I see your post as a lesson for you and others who would be reading. A lesson that in life, you don't have to depend on only a source for income. You can't survive that way.

If you had other sources of income apart from just going to your routine work before covid-19 came, now that you have lost the job because of the challenges of covid-19, you would have easily been surviving with the others until you add another again to it. So as you have cryptocurrency as the means you want to survive now, you also invest properly in different coins and not only depend on signature campaign.

Apart from this, you can do other businesses either you get lian from friends, family.

I'm sorry to hear that. I know that losing your job in this situation is really painful financially and emotionally. But you had to be strong and find ways to resolve your problem as quickly as possible. There's a saying that I had read yesterday and it's getting my interest, it says "There's no such thing as overnight success or EASY MONEY if you fail, don't be discouraged, try it again. When do you well, don't change your ways" You can do it!

Anyways, regarding the story with cryptocurrency during the pandemic, I heard that the Prime Minister of Australia is now investment massive funds for cryptocurrency projects just to save their economy. And I assume, because of that initiation, other countries will be diving next.

Luckily, even there's a lockdown in my country, I still have my job amidst the pandemic.

Honestly, saying everything is unstable or jobs are lost due to the pandemic is exaggerated because the whole economy and fiat currency are already unstable long ago and it ashamed the government dont take IMF boss advise about creating digital national currency into consideration cause if they have the currency wont be badly affected now.
The one thing like about the pandemic is that it make the world to truly see what Bitcoin is and I'm to have joined the crypto world before now.

Fiat failed you just for this moment and you're not the only one who are experiencing the same.
Unemployment rate of most of the countries are high right now because of the businesses that are being forced to close because of bankruptcy etc. Feel sorry for your lost of job though.

I didn't felt any problems right now at the middle of the pandemic since I have my sideline work and it gives me income. Only few of the people aren't affected of this pandemic and most of them are freelancers or those who are working from home. Those who are employees in a business company or working under a private company most probably don't have any job right now.

Lucky for me that even though there is a pandemic, there is continuous cash flow and I can still pay our monthly expenses.

I feel you mate my investment into a fiat currency are already gone due to this pandemic outbreak the marker price of the fiat in just a single week and I didn't expect this it will happen and I lose a large amount, those time im holding my money it falls down immediately.
But still, I look forward because there are some funds into my bitcoin and altcoins so I used this and the being volatile of the cryptocurrency to make an additional profit just a small amount and it goes well hoping that all things back to normal again.

I didn’t lose my job but I have to sold my stocks and get some fund on my savings because this pandemic is not just hurting me but also my family so I have to liquidate those assets and use it for our daily needs.

Still, I’m thankful that we survive the hard lockdown in my country and yes, we are slowly bouncing back and I’m sure all the money that we loss will come again, let’s just not give up and continue to hustle. I'm not sure if crypto currency can help you in this situation since a few weeks ago almost crypto currency prices have the same path as a traditional investment, I mean their prices are decreasing and it is not good if you are a crypto investor. Unless, if you are a crypto trader maybe you still have a chance to gain profit although in downtrend market. Me as well, I got laid off in August and I didn't have a stable income until now, I just depend on my signature campaign and being a day trader although my income still small due to I spend I little capital for it.

Yeah, this virus has given a bad thing in all aspects, we can't find another job because almost all companies will not decide to open recruitment for new employe. They will only focus to stand and looking for ways to avoid the fail, I don't know this situation will end but I'll hope when the vaccine come the situation will back normally.

Everything is going down now, stocks, bitcoin and many industries are still suffering from the impact of this pandemic.

I don’t have job yet even before this pandemic but I feel those who lost their main source of income and I wish them well and push them to keep on fighting until this pandemic is over. it is only natural that many people will find it difficult to get money in a pandemic like this, humans are being played with by world rulers, the spread of the virus makes economic conditions damaged and attacks health, worse it is a very fatal attack that finally makes all countries miserable. at least don't lose your job during a pandemic like this because it will make income even harder to get.

It’s a crazy thing knowing that millions of people are affected, and I think it’s the ruling powers in the country that should take over totally. It's really annoying, in the country where I live, the unemployment rate is increasing due to the pandemic and besides that the number infected with the virus is also increasing.
This is a very heavy blow to the sustainability of the country's economy, both on a large and small scale which has an immediate impact on becoming victims, especially for those who lost their jobs due to Covid-19.
and I am one of the victims who lost my job and I only rely on the income in this forum and big or small that I get means a lot to me and my family.

There's a lot of ways to earn amidst this pandemic like doing freelance work that related to your profession. You can try upwork to search for a freelance job that suits your profession. Approximately half of the people in world suffers job loss because most of the business are force close but it doesn't mean that we should stop find ways how to earn because there's a lot  of job that you can do online.

In my case, I do online selling of clothes even though my profession is not related on it. My company is still close that's why I decided to venture out on new business. So far my profit on my new business is sufficient to cover daily financial needs. There is always a way to earn money. You just need to step out to your comfort zone and discover a way that will give you a profit.

I feel sorry for your situation. I think that it will take a long period of time in order for everything to get back to normal. The economic crisis will continue to spread for at least a month. Scientists have successfully created vaccines that are very promising. If this does cure people, it will be the foundation for humankind to normalize society.  And you will definitely have a job again

I also experienced problem in my business and i admit that I also have a hard time right now in terms of earning paper money... my business become not stable because it's hard to find customer right now because they prepare to be at home so they can avoid to be sick and  have the disease.

It's indeed a sad situation for everyone because the pandemic is affecting all of us. Unemployment is increasing, as well as businesses that are failing due to lack of operations and income. Everyone is having a hard time making adjustments in our daily living just to avoid getting infected by the virus, but since we also need to survive financially, we really need to find alternative sources of income.

For me, I don't have a job yet but we are also affected by the pandemic because my father who is working for us, does not have a stable job for now because of the ongoing quarantine. Now, crypto is a big help for me to find a source of income to survive while almost everyone is struggling.

My business has been closed since March and I feel bad for my employee.

Last March I also had to close my business and lay off 4 of my employees (my business is still relatively small)..  I am very concerned about them because the employees that work with me are the ones who provide for their families.  2 of my employees sold their motorbikes just to pay bills and meet their daily needs during the peak of COVID 19.. 

finally, at the beginning of last August, I ventured to open my business because of pressure from them too (my employees) they had no more money.  I can't expect much profit in this "PANDEMIC" period, being able to help them earn money is enough for me and they are very grateful..

That is quite unfortunate that you have lost your job. You are not to be blamed in this case. Don't just give up your hope. Keep looking for a job. I am sure you will find it. Or try selling your skills online. I have seen many people moving to freelance after they have lost their jobs. I have also seen people starting their own small business to help themselves (there are lot of new business booming and people are taking advantage of it!)/
I am bit curious on how bitcoin is going to help you after fiat failed you. Are you going to be holding bitcoin to make profit. Not a good idea.

Me and my parents also temporarily lost our jobs during the lockdowns, and good thing we already have our jobs back even we are still in the middle of the pandemic. it is also the reason why I still keep grinding in cryptocurrency and in this forum, so i could pay all of our bills and to provide the necessities of my family. Getting back in cryptocurrency is a good head start because your investments are more safe than investing it in stocks that they are currently suffering due to recession.
