About a year ago, a new cryptocurrency forum appeared on the Internet - Cryptotalk.

This forum in all seriousness will try to become the first in the TOP of forums about cryptocurrencies, to try to oust the Bitcointalk from the first place.
The forum even pays rewards to people for posts, Bitcoins, to keep people active and the forum to flourish.

On the forum, many people are sure that sooner or later the Bitcoinalk forum will leave the first place in popularity, for me this is all nonsense and I want to give a few facts why this forum, BitcoinTalk, will constantly be in the first place if it does not close.

Why?

1. This forum was created by Satoshi Nakamoto himself.
Nobody knows who exactly this is, but we know that this is the creator of Bitcoin. It seems to me that this forum will, constantly, like a memorable history of cryptocurrency, because the whole history and the whole path of development of cryptocurrencies is laid here.

2. People come here for information, to communicate, to learn something new, to help someone.
On the cryptocurrency market, people come to make money, which means that when the forum turns off the fee, users will immediately leave the forum.
Not all, some will remain, but many will leave.

3. This forum has a lot of language branches, which makes it convenient for many people who do not know English.
On the CryptoTalk, there are only 2 languages: Russian and English.

It seems to me that we need to value this forum, the information it gives to the forum.
We should try to promote it into the world of cryptocurrency further, many people are looking at our forum for the purpose of making money, but this should not be so either, we must understand why we came here and for what purpose.

That's all I wanted to say. I have visited both forums and I can say that you will not find more useful information than on Bitcointalk anywhere.

Maybe someone needs a link to the forum:
https://cryptotalk.org/

I dont think so. Bitcointalk has a huge traffic than the one you are comparing. Yes we cant control those who will leave for quite sometime but it doesnt mean this forum is dead or what. Cryptotalk is popular due to the connection with yobit and their signature campaign. Never used it and knowing that it has only two supported language means they arent that great. I know you admire this forum but no need to doubt that belief since it will be a great forum until the end.

Okay let's talk about the quality

Bitcoin talk consists of a lot of different quality posts because of the merit system to filter out the quality and shit post.

Crypto talk is full of shit posts but still the moderator of that forum doing their best to become a quality forum.

Number of members
AFAIK the bitcoin talk is the winner on this.

Bitcoin talk - Post to learn
Crypto talk - post to earn.

This is just my personal opinion and personal perspective only.

We are fully aware of Cryptotalk.org in fact they have done a signature campaign here Cryptotalk.org owed a lot to Bitcointalk when they are starting out, there's no comparison on who is the best forum, just take out the paid to post feature and people will stop posting here and posters there will praise their forum to high heavens because they received a salary here, they will see the payout but not the spam, this forum is very notorious on spam.

Thanks to their recent airdrop rules, cryptotalk forum is drawing in spam and meaningless posts.

I see that you post on Russian language - your chances of learning something from cryptotalk are higher than other language speaking people. I might say, that Cryptotalk forums English local board is filled with lots of newbies. It will be hard to learn something there, as basically there are "no teachers" there. Most of guide or educational topics there are not original, but just a re-written text just not to get banned for plagiarism. While Russian local board is filled with "posts just to earn satoshi".

Bitcointalk will be harder place for a beginner, but your efforts and time spent here will be rewarded.

I even heard that many people compare these forums because of the design, they say, this forum has an outdated design.

And a cryptocurrency with a newer design, for me it is generally a SHOCK!

I have no doubt that this forum is the best! Cheesy

I think Bitcointalk forum is much better than Crypto talk forum for beginners because most users in crypto talk are spammers or shit poster, so they could earn crypto by posting. Unlike here in bitcointalk, they always make a credible, reliable, and on point discussions, so it would help other users to understand or have more knowledge in the crypto world. It is why I think Bitcointalk forum is better for every beginners and crypto enthusiast.

I am a member of cryptotalk forum, I created also a topic about my observation about the bitcointalk and cryptotalk, and based on some of the replies that I received on my topic, all of them are into this forum because of the quality information that we can learn and read here unlike to the cryptotalk.

Nice having you here mate, here's the catch, cryptotalk and the only forum you see, are all copycat of the bitcointalk community, none would be as successful as bitcointalk has become. I'm not wishing for their downfall but the way the forum is been run matters alot. At some point they all had to focus their advertisment on this forum to draw members to theirs. Bitcointalk was created with the intention of having a platform were like-minded individuals can communicate and probably pass on wisdom and guide to the new generation.

I joined cryptotalk on June 2020 and knowledge most 4 months but I dont get any quality information there that I can use in the world of cryptocurrency because most of the topics that we can see there is not that too much related about cryptocurrency and blockchain. Even though there are also many members of the cryptotalk, I still dont see any success with that forum unless they will cha ge the rules about creating a topic. They should move all the topics to the "off topic" section to make it more organized.

Even though I am a beginner from this forum, I can say that this is much better than cryptotalk based on some topics that I have read here. There are many useful knowldge that I can acquire here that will help me to become more knowledgeable about the world of crypto.

where bitcointalk and where cryptotalk!  Grin when yobit see that they can not do marketing their fishy/Ponzi in this forum they decided to do something so that none can do something against them. And created/contract cryptotalk. Though some newbies here start to use the forum at the begining due their ''paid per post' campaign. But now I think it has very low traffic. So I don't want to compare bitcointalk with cryptotalk.  Smiley

~snip~
Both place are good for beginners/newbie if they have really joined for learning about crypto reletaed things. Spammers are at every online platform. User makes useless post at cryptotalk as they get payment for it. And here you can see a lot of people just posting in bounty section to get something for free. Still you can see a lot of user contributing at both forum by making good qualitative post.

Look like OP is worried about merit and reputation at this forum. Check his post history

    Bitcointalk vs Cryptotalk

Interesting but I am sorry if my words is harsh for Cryptotalk. Let's get started!

    Who is creator/ operator ?
    • Bitcointalk: Satoshi, the creator of bitcoin.
    • Cryptotalk: Yobit controls the site, it seems.

    Target user population
    • Bitcointalk: Global. Everyone can join here. Of course, excludes ban-evansion people.
    • Cryptotalk: Global, initially. But unfortunately over time, it seems to be a local forum. Many nations are restricted. Now, it looks like a Russian forum.

    How Cryptotalk began?
I don't know how they began outside the forum, but at least on the forum, they began as a company that tried to use spammers to promote their forums. They acted like a parasite on the forum, abuse the forum with spam posts. No manager, no selection process, invitation to join campaign was sent to Yobit users through emails, all people were accepted, no max participants, etc.

    Learn and Earn ?
    • Bitcointalk.org: You can have both: knowledge and earnings if you are a good members with good contributions. Good campaigns are waiting for you. Managers of good campaigns will happy to accept you.
    • Cryptotalk: it is a spam place. I knew last year, people can earn well (in bitcoin) on that forum but later they changed strategy and pay for posters with their Talk token. Is it worth? You can not learn knowledge on that spam forum.

    Abuse on bitcointalk.org forum
Yobit did it first and was globally banned for 60 days by theymos, then in the next wave, they run Cryptotalk signature campaign that is another spam before it was took over by yahoo62278.

    Conclusion

Are those points enough to help you know which forum is better? It is bitcointalk.org, the unique forum for bitcoin and crypto.

    Sources:

129 users who were wearing a yobit signature and had at least 1 good report against them in the last 14 days are banned for 14 days. All yobit signatures are wiped. Signatures containing "yobit.net" are banned for 60 days.

Some people were talking about neg-trusting spammers for spamming. This is not appropriate; report the posts, and if that doesn't seem to be working well, come to Meta with specific examples and suggestions.

    1. Cryptotalk banned 7 countries, these countries can not access the site, it will display error 1020.
    2. Cryptotalk do ban even legit accounts, not like this forum that you will have rest of mind that you will not be banned.
    3. Information on cryptotalk is not quality like the ones on this forum
    4. Cryptotalk members do spam, why won't they, they are posting 30 posts daily and now 20 post daily. It is not even spam at times because daily post requirement is too many.
    5. You can not access cryptotalk with phone broswer version unless you convert it to desktop
    6. There are more Russian members than the members in the rest of the world, that is why russian sections are more active. Are they implying Russians knows better than the rest of the world.
    7. They are not paying in bitcoin again, there payment is complex. They pay in talk token while talking token is not yet tradable. There bitcoin payment is now one of the hardest.
    8. Payment is not according to ranking, how would that work. Ranking in accordance to payments makes forum to have quality
    9. In term of payment, I prefer hear. But you have to work hard.

Who is in cryptotalk should be afraid, and have alternatives means because they do ban people after they have used the person (evidence is the russian section that is more active with more members which was not like that before), if the person contributes not like before, and not russian, he will be banned with only just simple mistakes that is not spam, plagiarism nor having multiple accounts.

Here's an idea, why not both? I'm not a beginner in crypto anymore but when I was, I used to check all sorts of forums and websites to better educate myself and to see if there were chances to earn some crypto (and yes, I'm not ashamed to admit that part). I'm not a member on Cryptotalk but I'm a member on bitcointalk and I wouldn't advise any beginner to just stick to one forum. See what's out there, get info, and most of all, figure out what works for you and what doesn't because we're not all the same and we don't have the same ideas or the same goals in life.

About a year ago, a new cryptocurrency forum appeared on the Internet - Cryptotalk.

Ok now this recent created topics with relation to shilling cryptotalk on the forum is begining to look like a strategic attempt of promoting their site on the forum once again because that's all they do here. Cryptotalk shouldn't be put in the same sentence as bitcointalk. We should be comparing the forum to that of altcointalk and their likes as it's not yet upto the standard to be competing with bitcointalk.

Like I said in my previous reply relating to this same topic, both forum operates differently therefore should never be compared as bitcointalk would always dominate. Bitcointalk needs no promotion, it's members does that for free. But the other platforms need the promotion and attractive marketing to stay relevant.

Consider cryptotalk to be like DeFi/ICo tokens that won't last long in the market and would always get replace with other wanna be but bitcointalk is bitcoin which irrespective of the market condition would still remain relevant.

Here I completely agree with you.
But I'm just comparing them because they are both cryptocurrency forums, why not compare them?

And the fact that after the payment is disabled on the cryptocurrency there will no longer be users there - I completely agree.

I don't think it will be a wise thing to compare worlds largest crypto community "Bitcointalk" with a forum like "Cryptotalk". Don't forget about two rare creations of Satoshi Nakamoto which are "Bitcoin" & "Bitcointalk". You can only count the value of both forum by one thing and that is  "Acceptability". Acceptability of bitcointalk is always higher among worldwide crypto users and it will remain same with community users contribution from which people are enriching their knowledge vault about bitcoin and other crypto currencies.

I believe bitcointalk bear much value than any other newly created forum which are running for a specific reason by a specific group of people but bitcointalk is completely different in this field. Yeah people can decrease their activity for their personal reason but that doesn’t mean they are losing their interest or forum is dying. Everyday new peoples are getting registered here and starting their journey by sharing and learning knowledges from here. Its a continuous process which will never end IMO.

Consider cryptotalk to be like DeFi/ICo tokens that won't last long in the market and would always get replace with other wanna be but bitcointalk is bitcoin which irrespective of the market condition would still remain relevant.
Agree with you and there is no doubt that people will not take too much time to change their mind. Its just like hyip which exists for a limited amount of time and get disappear by giving some bad and unforgettable experiences.

OP, how dare you to compare these two forums. It's simply incomparable. It's like to compare Samsung or Apple smartphones with no name smartphone from Aliexpress for $20. Sorry that I didn't made better comparison, nothing better didn't came to my head.
As you said, Bitcointalk is made by Satoshi, while Cryptotalk is made by Yobit to shill their shady website. It's enough what we need to know about them. And content on both forums can't be compared. On Cryptotalk basically there is no discussions, just pure spam.
I didn't knew that they restricted access to forum for several countries. Well, it makes them even more pathetic.
We need another comparison - which forum is worse: Cryptotalk or Forum.Bitcoin.co Cheesy?

I have not heard of such a forum, which was described at the end.
I can read it later and write another comparison topic "Which forum is worse: Cryptotalk or Forum.Bitcoin.co?"
    To do? Grin Grin Grin

Not a bad example i think.Smiley Market is full with lots of unknown brands who are offering much features than Iphone but we know how helpful these features are. I wanna add another little example from my end.

Recently i have purchased fossil smartwatch but intereresting thing is that there is so many smart watches available in the market under the price of 100$ which got much features and battery lifetime than mine. So you can tell that creating forum like bitcointalk isn’t a big thing where important is the quality of its users and forum necessity itself.

As you said, Bitcointalk is made by Satoshi, while Cryptotalk is made by Yobit to shill their shady website. It's enough what we need to know about them. And content on both forums can't be compared.

Thats why i mentioned the sentence on my previous reply that forums like cryptotalk made by specific group of people for specific reason and anyone can easily detect the reason what it is.
