I've read a few times in Cryptotalk but never made an account and for really educated discussion, Cryptotalk is relatively, let's say limited. The only thing which was fun, was reading shitposts from butthurt shitposters who complained about Bitcointalk Merit system / Trust system being so unfair. This visit was in late last year, so I can't say if it's improved right now but I guess not. When I read there, posts were still massively paid and most likely quite a few posters will leave long term. However, I wish Cryptotalk good luck to have at least some educated discussions about altcoins.
We need another comparison - which forum is worse: Cryptotalk or Forum.Bitcoin.co ? There are so many dead forums, I can't even count: Bitcoinforum.com: https://www.bitcoinforum.com/Bitco.in Forum: https://bitco.in/forum/Cryptocurrencytalk: https://cryptocurrencytalk.com/Cryptoforum.com: http://www.cryptoforum.com/Cryptointalk: https://cryptointalk.com/...

This visit was in late last year, so I can't say if it's improved right now but I guess not. When I read there, posts were still massively paid and most likely quite a few posters will leave long term. However, I wish Cryptotalk good luck to have at least some educated discussions about altcoins. It is a big joke to see they forced people to spam in order to get traffics, then changed and paid their spammers with Talk tokens (if I recalled correctly) with one of reasons is to prevent spam and abuse. Restrictions on some nations because of cheaters. I can understand how cheaters try to abuse and cheat such spam forum but if they don't have strict rules, and good tools to manage their community (like merit system and trust/ feedback system) their forum should not operate fine, with or without spammers / cheaters. A forum is not a commercial entity so such restrictions are weird but I can understand they need to aim at their target population (it seems to be Russian).Additionally, maybe it is just me but I visit some other forums with BBcode signature and I can say in my own feeling, bitcointalk.org forum is the best, visually. You can take a quick look at Cryptotalk or https://bitcoingarden.org. Signatures are displayed too badly. When I asked for systems, algorithms to force people make high quality posts and to differentiate between good and bad posters, they said there is unavailable for now. I don't use such forums.
Edit (after I see that one). You can click on link to see more but it is an awful comparison. The point #4 seems to confirm Cryptotalk now has 2 main languages: English and Russian.https://cryptotalk.org/topic/109555-things-you-need-to-know-about-cryptotalk-and-bitcointalk/Cryptotalk
1. Crypto talk gives us profit whenever we reach the 100 posts.
2. We are not allowed to create multiple accounts here.
3. We don't need to apply in the campaign to get paid here.
4. We have only 2 languages here.
5. You can delete your own topic here.

Honestly, I also used to post in cryptotalk as they have the campaign paid per post but as time goes by I noticed that forum is not organized well and there are many spammers and repeated topics to the point that the campaign force to banned some country servers but it is normal because it is a newly form forum and not established well. In terms of quality and organized forum bitcoin still, the number 1, and as I can see it will still remain as number 1.
It's better that beginners will start here in bitcointalk why? Even the forum is difficult they will gain legit knowledge from the experts and will also gain experience.

On the Cryptotalk forum, if you look closely, there is no new information. All topics are completely paraphrased from the bitcointalk forum. Any registered account that appears there is a person interested in making money. I will not even talk about cases of direct plagiarism. Although the local administration is very active in combating such violations, you will not find unique content there. What can I advise to those who are faced with a choice of where to get knowledge. If people prefer the Cryptotalk forum, then instead of logical answers to their questions, they will receive answers from bots, not from people. Here on the forum, there is a real opportunity to communicate with those who have extensive experience in many areas related to cryptocurrency. In general, don't waste time on little things.

Unfortunately, many people do not understand this. More precisely, those who want to get real knowledge will choose the right forum - Bitcointalk. But the cryptocurrency also has, sometimes, useful topics, he personally found various distributions there that were fasting on that forum. And at the expense of the usefulness of the content of the forum, I know that there are not people there, but solid bots that came for profit. Honestly, I also used to post in cryptotalk as they have the campaign paid per post but as time goes by I noticed that forum is not organized well and there are many spammers and repeated topics to the point that the campaign force to banned some country servers but it is normal because it is a newly form forum and not established well. Well, there are people on this forum who came for knowledge, who want to learn something. On the same forum, people came to receive payment for posts.

2 Newbies on the same topic in less than 24 hours, and while this thread can somehow be considered a fairly logical observation, when I look at the OP it really seems to me as if it was written as a promotion for that other forum, especially considering that a direct link has been posted. Whatever the intention, I would not agree that it is necessary to promote such forums in any way, because we are trying to get rid of spam and scam, and not encourage people to get used to some low standards which the forum in question promotes. Comparing this forum with other cypto forums doesn't make much sense, just as it doesn't make sense to compare Bitcoin with all the forks trying to copy it.

No, in this topic, on the contrary, I am making fun of the crypto forum. I do not consider it as a worthy resource where you can get a lot of useful information. And I left the link to the resource, maybe someone might find it useful.

I prefer Bitcointalk in my opinion because Cryptotalk forum is severly disorganized with several unimportant junks or spams. Also, Bitcointalk comes with alot of active members who are ready to help any beginner in need of assistance.

What a strange topic.
Of course, people on bitcointalk will write that this forum is best for beginner. And there is almost identical topic on Cryptotalk ("will cryptotalk outrace bitcointalk by popularity") and all I see there are posts praising Cryptotalk.
It is like war between Samsung and Apple fans.
P.S. no one speaks about altcointalks? huh ?

It's not worth joining and being active in Cryptotalk the management are racist they ban people because of their nationalities not on individual s who broke the rules, Cryptotalk cannot compete with Bitcointalk, people there just used this forum to make money, just look on the discussions most of them are redundant they are just repeating what others are saying, no originality at all.

Your comparison is completely wrong, because Samsung and Apple are two large global companies that have great products and have been present on the market for many years. Bitcointalk is the first crypto forum as far as I know, and it is certainly the most famous. On the other hand, cryptotalk has gained all its popularity by advertising on this forum and has no theoretical chance of becoming anything serious except that it will serve to promote various scams such as current that gives the award of even 10 BTC via one more great offer from YoShit exchange.

At the expense of the banned countries: Among the people who used multi-accounts and spam were people from these countries, so these countries were simply banned from that forum. The fact that there is 0 useful information I already know, there is simply no sense in that forum, but online, now, there is mad!

For several days already on cryptotalk forum there is a drop of DLRS tokens to get which you need to write 100 posts per week. Nobody knows what a token is, but activity on the forum is just huge and the posts are written by people who do not even understand what the cryptocurrencies are.

So they're paying in DLRS token instead of Bitcoin now?

I was a former member of cryptotalk.org specially when it launched before. It was really hyped by campaigners in this forum wherein we only see the signature materials about cryptotalk.org and ran by yobit team. At first, I don`t why they are eager to have a lot of posts in their forum. I thought it was for popularity and advertisement. It is good because they ran contest which I get some of bitcoin. However, it became more exhausted in that forum because spammers had moved around and shitposting the forum.
The best forum as a beginner is bitcointalk.org, this has a lot of users who had real knowledge about crypto stuff. And because of the current merit system, you can read a lot of quality post made by several users who want to have an excellence in the forum.

Are there rule for plagiarism and ban on rule-breaker (plagiarism, ie.)? Zero or low value posts probably come from plagiarism. I guess no rule, no ban.

Plagiarism is also against the cryptotalk forum https://cryptotalk.org/topic/4748-report-plagiarism-copypaste/But they are not against zero value posts because all they want is quantity over quality and it is a known fact since when they introduced their campaign on bitcointalk.
