98% of people don't want to use new technology If big institutions don't use them, It could be the trust factor as well. However Bitcoin is kind of complicated to the normal people, when it gets easy to use, and every mobile had a bitcoin wallet, that's when people will have trust and use bitcoin or else people will keep avoiding bitcoin.

I do notice that some people naturally don’t allow bitcoin in any of their daily transactions even when it faster and easier, they still don’t prefer using it, I have noticed this a lot, Some classes of human,Sometimes when they are to receive money from another country like international transfer sometimes it takes 2 3 days to arrive,They will advise them to use bitcoin and they still don’t accept it even it faster and easier. Now how come we make bitcoin come to people.

Bitcoin is used in a lot of things such as investment, transactions, etc., for sure a lot of people don't know what is cryptocurrency or bitcoin.

People who have knowledge of bitcoin do not really avoid, it in my opinion sometimes bitcoin is not really reliable all of the time where you could use it. In some cases, fiat money is also reliable in other places where bitcoin cannot be used.

Personally, I think bitcoin is best for investment or trading and not really for direct transactions in a store, but it really depends on your country if bitcoin use is supported.

I'm having the same thought. Even if the government of a certain country allows or encourages the use of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies I don't think that it would be using it well by people. First of all, I think it is too complicated for commoners to cope with and understand this technology. Besides, there are still some places that cannot afford to use it. Just like you have said, Bitcoin is too volatile to use as a common currency, and imagine if this really implemented won't this become a mess in the physical market because the value keeps changing and changing.

Why do people think Bitcoin is going to be a failure just because it failed as a possible fiat replacement? It isn't a good option for replacement, and it'll never be.

The main advantage is decentralization. It simply kills off all the other disadvantages no matter if it's used as a daily currency or not. People start using cryptos when they start feeling like the leash our governments put on us is getting too tight. Until then, most of them will just ignore all the new surveillance tools thinking they don't need to hide anything - until they do.

We don't need to use it every day. Stocks are important, yet you don't have any "applications" for them. But precious metals protect you from economical problems, and that is extremely important. The applications Bitcoin has now? It will never have $2 trillion bills. It'll never ask you personal information and you don't need to request anyone's permission to use it. It provides a freedom traditional assets don't.

When it comes to the time that every smartphone will have a cryptocurrency wallet, then I think that people will not use Bitcoin. Because fiat money will make the same move, they will make bank cards that will be installed on a smartphone and they can be used in the same way as electronic money. That is, there will be an adaptation of fiat funds as competition with cryptocurrencies increases. But now there is no need for this, since the cryptocurrency is developing very slowly.

That's a good point, a lot of people are afraid to lose their money from an investment like cryptocurrency but for-profit everyone who invests or starts a business is taking a gamble.

If that's the point here, I think bitcoin and cryptocurrency scams are a big part of why people are avoiding it, when I first got started in trading cryptocurrency scams are why I'm afraid to invest in it. When it comes to online, scams are so frequent. Most of the people who do not have knowledge in cryptocurrency maybe watch bitcoin scams or cryptocurrency scams from the news.

There is no reason for people to avoid bitcoin it just a matter of if it is reliable depending in your place or country.

There are many cases why people are avoiding bitcoin, but most of the cases is because they don't have enough resources in order to easily transact bitcoin like
withdrawal and cashin. And other cases, they don't have enough knowledge about bitcoin and they are afraid that their money will decrease.

And the worst scenario, their country is against the use of crypto currencies or they are prohibited to transact any type of crypto currencies like bitcoin and etc.

Good point. In countries where Bitcoin/crypto usage is illegal, people would think twice before jumping in the crypto train. They'll avoid Bitcoin as much as possible in order to stay out of trouble from the authorities. Another reason why people avoid Bitcoin is because it's a new kind of money. It's been shown that people are reluctant to change their ways. Something that's new brings a lot of questions to the average person. Fiat is old and trusted by many people worldwide. But that's still not the case with Bitcoin. Aside from believing it's a scam, price volatility and hacks do more harm than good towards Bitcoin's reputation in the mainstream world. I'd say we should give Bitcoin some time for it to mature. Slowly but surely, governments are recognizing Bitcoin as legitimate. It should only be a matter of time before most people adopt Bitcoin for their benefit.

Nonetheless, people will always have differing views when it comes to Bitcoin. There's nothing we can do about it since it's the way society works. People have different opinions to different things in life. As long as we do our part in helping spread the word about Bitcoin's benefits to the world, people will come one way or another. Many people in the world has not known about bitcoin maybe they avoid using bitcoin because of they already heard about some negative thoughts about bitcoin even do its not fault of bitcoin because we know of who are the one is fault are those people using the name of bitcoin for there bad intentions.

Simple we all are well aware of bitcoin's latent capacity and have extraordinary information on how to use it.
Maybe someone just deceptive them and they think bitcoin is nothing but just a scam.
We should talk with them and give some confirmation on how bitcoin really work and encourages you to make a keen benefit.

Yes, they refuse to use bitcoin because basically they don't really understand bitcoin. Many things are not easy to explain and for beginners they also don't want to waste too much time. Basically we also can't force it because cryptocurrency is full of high risk, but there are many things we have to change in their mind that bitcoin is not as bad as they think

And those who have used the technology once fell in love to Bitcoin. Have had some good times with newbie investors who later cling to Bitcoin because of it transaction and it potential in term of investment. Those who actually get afraid from this technology are those who don't want to tried out something new. This just reminded me of my past, the  technology wasn't my favourite back in 2017 when I lost some of my investment but in 2019 I got used to the technology.

Not all the people around the globe are avoiding bitcoin because not all people knows about bitcoin. Hence, not all people are bitcoin users. The population of the users are lesser than who don't even know what bitcoin is or those people who knows about bitcoin by they are not users. If we are talking about those who are afraid to enter the world of trading, they are afraid because we all know that scammers are everywhere and it is normal for them to think twice, thrice or more when trying something new like trading.

Yes Bitcoin is the best to use for international transfer but there are some people who would find it hard to use since not all of us is tech-savvy.
They might also have trouble finding a place to buy crypto on their own.

We have to admit that despite this digital age now, and even with high technology-driven world, there are still a lot of conservative people who prefers their traditional ways of managing their funds. In addition to that, the involvement of bitcoin to several scams in blockchain industry, made the people who doesn't have better understanding with bitcoin think more negatively. Lots of people would prefer to use methods of moneytransfer that they have used before successfully, even if it takes several days to come through. They're thinking is if it already works, don't try to fix it.

Mostly older people think this way, and old habits are hard to change. Try getting your grandparents to use crypto on a daily basis, good luck with that. It's todays youth that can change this in the decades going forward.

It is all about comfort in the end,,, plus we have to remember that personal experience matters. A lot of people have been burnt by technology too. Some see crypto as bad because they were either victims of hacks or scams,,, and they failed to understand they were not using bitcoin the way it was supposed to be used, but that is not their fault and it is up to us to help them get there.

People are scared of the unknown.

The internet gives people a lot of power.

They just don't realize Bitcoin gives them even more power again.

IMO, The only true barrier to Bitcoin is education - We need to teach people why Bitcoin matters.

Bitcoin fixes the money & in turn fixes most of the problems we currently have in the world.

The actual tech is not that hard to use now & it's getting easier by the day.

Trying to understand why people avoid bitcoin can be diversified. Bitcoin as a  Cryptocurrency is decentralized,digitalized and technical to operate. The awareness and confidence of bitcoin is still spreading among men and it’s obviously going to take time.  Bitcoin is barely two decades since it was created and with its current world trend and acceptance in some regions it’s clear that soon everyone will still find bitcoin interesting.

Like the saying goes “Information is power” many are still yet to understand the benefits and security in bitcoin exchange so you basically don’t expect that person to use bitcoin in time of transactions unless he/she has been properly oriented about bitcoin and convinced. 

Bitcoin still have some limitations that make it seems like people are avoiding it. Like I said earlier “Information is power” and environment is also a great determinant as many are still blind about bitcoin benefits. Everybody wants to win and be at advantage so if bitcoin is well explained to them they would certainly not avoid but to take interest in bitcoin.
