Nope! I highly agree disagree about Bitcoin being a ponzi. You're not doing enough homework mate! It's a deflationary digital currency with no central authority involved and has transparency due to the blockchain technology that cannot be tampered.

Most of the newbies would say Bitcoin is a ponzi because they were invited by network marketing companies or "too good to be true" opportunities that are using BTC as front to scam people. It simply relies on the traditional crypto market situation, good or bad news, etc.

What makes this currency to look like a ponzi? Usually, complainant has to prove things against crime suspected, so, do you have any proofs against bitcoin? It's very funny to see how you tell us that your ponzi scheme that offers 10% weekly and 50% from affiliate commission is real one but the bitcoin is false, scam project. Do you even know what cryptocurrencies are? What's bitcoin, how it's earned, how are transactions made, what's blockchain, etc? You have no idea what's the system behind bitcoin and how it works and claim that it's ponzi. It doesn't even worth to argue with you because first of all you have to read a lot of things about it and not only consider rumors that some people may say, those who only heard word bitcoin and some things about it's price, how it has risen in certain times and how it went down. Correction OP, ponzi scams are usually occurring in projects that require people to invite others. In bitcoin, you don't need to invite in order to earn profit. You wait, and bitcoin will give you what you deserve.

It's normal since there are so many people been victimized by Ponzi schemes and those people who get affected by the said scheme makes an impression that bitcoin is Ponzi scam to. If it would have Ponzi then we would have known that by now. Most of the ponzi and HYIP schemes come to attention very quickly and get exposed for its furious nature. Bitcoin is real thing with real purpose. Just look at the trading sites, big swipe events, transaction made in house and through ATM all over the globe. Those who claim bitcoin is a ponzi scheme obviously do not know what bitcoin really is. If they do, then they'd know that bitcoin wasn't primarily made to be a form of investment but as a currency that is not in the control of the government or some third party institutions like the bank. Bitcoin was primarily made to be like the US dollars only that it is not under the control of the government unlike the US dollar.
The use of bitcoin as an investment is only a secondary use because people have now seen that ROI is high when it is done in a long term.
Also, bitcoin is not a ponzi scheme because it doesn't guarantee profits. No one or exchanges will promise you a 100% guarantee that you'll always make profits unlike ponzis which give you guarantee on your money only for you to be duped.
