I had 2 and returned both of them.  The PSU power for the cards has to go trough the MOBO then from the MOBO to the cards, you have to buy a lot of cables.  You also have to buy a cable to go from the white output to the CPU.  I think its made for an antminer/server power supply to power everything.  I didn't want to buy the cables so I can't tell you if its any good.

I would troubleshoot your asus MOBO instead you should be able to get it working.  I've had a lot of those asus boards and no problems with them.

yes, managed to find a youtube vid on this biostar and the guy expressed the same disadvantage regarding the 4 pin male to 4 pin cpu cable not being readily available/resale??
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q0REYdZxZ_8&ab_channel=%23GuntisVitolins

i have several bitmain psu's so will be good to make use of them(my S9's are all faulty due to chip issues)
thnks for your comment

If your running 5700s you also need a splitter to split the 6 pin to 2x8 pin so that is 1 male 6 pin to male 6 pin plus a female 6 pin to 2x8 pin splitter per card.

I ordered four used on ebay. Three were good one had a few bent pins.
You can run  five cards easy peasy.

Bitmain psus will run it.

When I get home I will show you how to wire it.

You do  not need a ton of cables if you use fivecards.per board.

Give me an hour or two I will post photos.

Sorry for delay I got stuck for a while.

The shots below are not of your board but I have 3 of yours have to find shots.

here is how to fit 5 cards.

on 8 slot boards.  if you see just make card 4 be over sized. and card 5 be undersized

This board is not your board. Still looking for photos on your board.

the board below is a six slot with 4 cards.

a standard 8 pin cpu cable

pulled into two ends of 4 pins and the solid 8 pin

cut the solid 8 pin end with a razor or a sharp knife

depending on the  psu cable once cut you could be tangled

I cut one wire makes one whole cable and one cable you need to splice

Nice good info.  Can you skip powering the GPUS from the board and go straight to the PSU?

the 8 pin cut side may have some pin/jack metal  exposed use some black tape.  it is safe as you are not pushing the shit out of the cpu.

test cable to be sure it is proper

so you can make 2 from this one.

with some electrical tape.
and a razor sharp knife

yes. you can go right to the gpu but you still need to go to the board since the risers need power.

you need 5 from an apw3+ psu to go to board

that will power the riser slots in the board.

you need to use the cable you just built. it plugs in next to the input risers on the board.

you can then use the 5 remaining apw3+ cables right into your gpus.

if you do the right gpus

these will adapt the six pin apw3 six pin
https://www.amazon.com/Cable-Matters-2-Pack-6-Pin-Adapter/dp/B01DV1Z32Y/ref=sr_1_1?

I like to use this gpu on those boards.

it is an 8 pin

don't cut your hands when you cut the solid eight pin.

I used a big sharp knife for photos

but this tool Is better

https://www.amazon.com/WORKPRO-Folding-Utility-Quick-change-Included/dp/B015R0HTQ0/ref=sr_1_6?

can you link me your Asus  gpu's so I can figure best adapter for them?

These were nice boards they sold out fast I only got 3 used ones.

but the apw3+ psus were on hand and free.

I had a lot of spare cpu power cables.   Test test test once you build them as you want correct polarity

I had spare cpus
I had spare ram
I had spare wire adapters.

I only needed 12 cards well actually I think I did 5 on one of them so 13 cards.

okay 8 pin + 6 pin

do 4 per board.

https://www.amazon.com/Graphics-Express-Splitter-Power-Extension/dp/B073M4643C/ref=sr_1_21?

these will work 1 direct from apw3+ to splitter above to one gpu

that takes 4 cables of the apw3+

you have six cables left from the apw3+

put all six into the inputs of the mobo

as long as you run the gpus at 125 watts or so the cables and board will hold.

Nice they should have two full sets of eight pin each.

or 4 cables.  which you could use 1  of the four and make two good four pin cables.

hook up one of these antec psu’s and test the four pin with a meter.

You then know what pins are negative and postive.

you also know the board works.

Do you know how to start an atx with the jumper to the 24 pin cable.

Let me know how those GPU's fit.  I remember reading somewhere those motherboards had very little space between pci slots.

he is doing every other slot only four so they will fit well.

I checked all my boards and my three biostars are up in clifton nj about 65 miles from my house.

so far they are very stable.

i use g4400t cpus. one of the lowest power cpus for these boards.
