To be honest, I am not that so knowledgeable about cryptocurrency but because of trying to participate in this forum by creating a topic, most of the topics that I am creating came from the internet but it doesn't mean that I plagiarize it or just pasted all the things that I have read on a specific article, I always include the link and I do paraphrasing so I won't violate the rules of the forum which is plagiarism and I will never commit plagiarism.

What do you think, is it possible to respect a person at a time when he does not write anything himself, but only tries to appear useful by creating low-quality posts?

I just realized my mistakes right now when @lovesmayfamilis commented on my topic that I have posted a while ago, I just moved it to off-topic and lock it, I read the links that were given to me and I feel sad because of what I have done, I have learned that it is not enough to paraphrase and include the link whenever we are going to create a topic, we should still include our insights about it or add some information from your own. Sorry for my bad, I will never do the same thing again, I hope this would be also a lesson for every beginner like me. I want to thank @lovesmayfamilis for making me realized such things.

I never feel fine if someone try to steal my ideas, my reports, my documents without "Thanks". On Internet, you can not find real authors so links can help you say thanks to authors indirectly.

Yeah, I always provide the link whenever I use information that I get from an article or any website, my bad is that I only provide a little information from my own and it seems like it is enough for this forum,

Crediting someone whenever we are going to use his or her content should always be done to avoid plagiarism and to respect the owner.

We are all committing mistakes OP. We are not perfect, we are just humans. But we don't need to be God or Anything else just not to commit mistakes. Having a decent apology is not enough if there is a serious violation we did in forum. However, if we get the chance not to be banned or put some red trusts in forum. We should make our second chance better than what before. We must be aware of what we are doing to avoid this mistakes.

Hoping that you can pass that problem OP. I believe that you have the potential to grow in forum because of you past post which have qualities.

The websites on the Internet should be used as references not like you copy paste the whole article and post link at the end of it to wash your hands of plagiarism, it's disrespect to the reader. Like what's even use of it when you can find elsewhere on the Internet.

Why don't you share that opinion?
If you currently have nothing of your own to share, then there is no need to write posts just for the sake of writing.
Writing posts is not an obligation on this forum, you can simply be a member and just read and learn from older and more experienced members.
This forum is a place to exchange opinions and ideas and not to copy other people's work.

With plagiarism, no excuse. When you have a travel to a new nation and don't know laws in that nation, can you pickpocket and when are caught by police, them simply say "I am sorry, I don't know in the nation, pickpocket is not allowed?".

A few things  are common over the globe and you don't need to know rule to make right things.

Fortunately, the OP did not have direct plagiarism, otherwise, he would not be with us now. Sometimes it is helpful to make a simple remark that the person is doing something wrong. Alucard1 is a new member and is already becoming popular if you look at his merits.

A big plus is your correct reaction to criticism. You have drawn the right conclusions. It is impossible to be good for everyone at once, just as it is impossible not to be wrong from the first steps.

Continue to grow on the forum, you are a competent and intelligent person. You will be able to independently create interesting posts without resorting to all sorts of tricks to raise the rank and get merits.

Honestly, it wasn't that bad that you get ideas and thread topics based on the articles you've read. But honestly, it wasn't a good practice, not to the forum's quality and community, but rather on your personal sake. This forum isn't a community of harsh and sensitive people that makes everything an issue. Yes, you might get hate with posting threads that originally wasn't yours. But keep in mind the reason why you're posting it. If you wanted to learn, better not post things just because of the sake of posting, but because for the sake of helping.

Of course because doing so makes you sound like a robot. Actually consider yourself lucky because lovesmayfamilis only criticized what you've done and not report it to the mods. Well, technically speaking, you do not break any rules but who knows? Maybe the mods still give you a red/neutral tag if ever .

Anyway, I'm glad you finally learned your lesson. You know what, lengthy informative posts are good but it is pointless if you just copy most of the concept from other sources. Yes you might get a merit from it but it was not as fulfilling as you think. Post here like the way you post on your FB. Just spill your own thoughts with the right manner and that's enough.

Donvt worry. We all learn from our mistakes. I even made some mistakes too so I have to do what's best to do to avoid doing it again.  If you read the forum rules it is not the official but those people who already read the thread follow the rules even if you know it's not the official rules. Yes, paraphrasing is not enough. One thing I learned from our research teacher during college is that, read first an article and then write about it based on your understanding, your opinion and insights, not just paraphrasing. And then of course, include the site where you got the article. But you know, at least you already learned from it. That's what's important. As an adage goes, "Mistake is an opportunity to learn something new."

Don't copy anything from the blog you read even you have the link and the source .the topic you create can also be marked as plagiarism  make your own ideas or words to use on a topic and  let people decided to visit the link  if they want to know more about the news you want to tell to members.

I think you've already understand that paraphrasing isn't that far from plagiarism. I guess I will just share what I think if I've read an article that is so good I've wanted to create a topic about it. One thing I do is ask myself if the article somehow create a question for the people involved, if it's crypto, I would think if what would crypto users think about this article? Then if I thought of a very interesting question, or if I have a lot to say about that question, then it's kind of worthy for creating a topic out of that article. Because I can create a healthy discussion. Sometimes articles that are sighted by other users are just a side read, they aren't rephrasing the article itself but they are now talking about a bigger one generated by that article. They started to share their thought, opinions and experiences. That's not plagiarism using an article, cause you've spend time working your brain and actually forcing yourself to think. Cause what's the use of creating a topic about an article if you are not giving a new insight about it anyways.

What you were doing before on your past threads is considered by them as some kind of high-level plagiarism where even though it is not considered as a violation it is deeply hated by a lot of people since your effort for paraphrasing cannot be covered by the real source of your thread. My advice is don't take this type of creating your thread anymore and if you do try to not just paraphrase but point out everything in your own words, I would even advice directly just using the quote function and just create a whole new topic based from that quote for you to avoid any kind of plagiarism accusation. You might think creating lengthy posts is the key on having merits and you are wrong about this one since majority of the people who are sending merits always go beyond on what you are posting for them to see if you really deserve a merit from them.
