Boxing is no exception. I think at a high level of evolution those sports shouldn't exist. There are many ways to show strength, not kick someone in the face

Contact sports has been existing or I should say brutal force battles has been there since time immemorial.

There are a lot of rules in MMA with a referee present in the ring. I think its better to have such sports regulated and visible in public. Because if the government would ban such sports it wouldn't stop. Fighting has been part of human nature for so long. There will probably always be demand for contact sports like MMA, boxing, Thai kick boxing, etc. People would just do these things illegally in some underground sport places if it were banned. I think bare knuckle boxing is more brutal than MMA.

I love MMA because in this Game we can see the combination of skills from different discipline that only sports person understand.

They don't fight like animals, they use something called a Martial Art, and as the name says it's the art of fight. In different cultures, we can find different martial arts, someones like Judo, jiu jitsu, Karate, Kick Boxing, Box, Muay Thai, Capoeira... And that's what makes the sport interesting, that each fighter has their way to fight.

They don't fight like animals, they use something called a Martial Art, and as the name says it's the art of fight. In different cultures, we can find different martial arts, someones like Judo, jiu jitsu, Karate, Kick Boxing, Box, Muay Thai, Capoeira... And that's what makes the sport interesting, that each fighter has their way to fight.

I understand the rules of the game, but is the end result in taking out the opponent to win? What problem does that solve? Money, show yourself? Be respected by others? While the rest will be like? Many people see it as a hobby. Where is your social exposure in that game? watchers, referees, bettors, spectators, ... To me this game is like the ego leading a person, it will make the ruling class happy. Instead of resisting walking out of the cage, fighting in it was easier. Like how many people accept the existence of such disciplines, or even being led !

From where do you think you cannot change that
 ? When they were born, they were no different? So why let someone tell you what to do and what you can't do. Even if belief is not there it will never come true. It is like someone believes that the earth revolves around the sun and then many people believe it before it can be proved by reality.

Yes we watch MMA and bet who wins in a fight. Its a sports we enjoy to see.  The humans had been doing this for centuries and the ancients are even worse because they fight to death like the gladiators. Today we don't waste life all for sports, we just check to see who has better skills and hail them champions.

This is exactly the same contact sport as the others, aiming to bring out the best in one specific aspect.
I will reveal a secret: primitive people did not lock each other in cages.

Actually, I tried to watch fights like this, but I ended up enjoying WWE fights more. Yes, this is a production, but it is spectacular, plus, the fighters are unlikely to harm each other for life, therefore it is perceived easier.

AFAIK, Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) is real sport but sometime it can be scripted depends on what kind of MMA it is.WWE is completely scripted fighting art and all other sports are real.

yeah i remember my younger time when i really believe that Wrestlers are fighting that hard and intentionally hitting each others.
and i am very disappointed when i learn about the script,but they are a good actors to act like real in front of fans.

MMA (like boxing) is a sport. It is violent but thats the nature of this sport.

Getting hurt is inevitable and players are fully aware of it.

Since its a mixed martial arts its a good way to defend yourself so no one can hurt you if ever.

Right. This happens in all areas. As long as we remain unconscious, this will happen.
But that doesn't mean it's bad. Perhaps through sports you are trying to convey to people some good ideas about goodness and peace (otherwise you will not be heard if you don’t do that).

Things have not changed a bit since the time of gladiator, we're even more civil that they are not fighting to death but simply just a sport for we value life. Once a fighter will get hit and a referee can see that he might not have a chance to recover quickly the fight will be stopped unlike in the first days of MMA that they are to die before the referee stops the fight.

This is almost like boxing if you have seen Rocky Balboa movies, they are almost killing each other but these days the rules have changed already.
