2 outs in the 9th and Tampa gets a hr to push it to 6-2 and hits the over 7.5 good lord.  That was brutal.  One of these games HAS to hit the under right?!? I'm sticking with the plan and chuckimg money on the under for game 4.  Probably dead money but I'm surely not putting it on the over now and watch it be 2-0 game lol.

The notion of world series games going under, with high defensive skill coming into effect once it starts, is completely out the window.
I looked at the score and seen it 6-6 and then turned it off.
Woke up to see the rays won 8-7.
I would go for the overs as the bookies are having it o7.5 from now on for the rest of the games.

Hit the last under.  There was no way I could change to the over after going under the whole time.  I would have guaranteed an under if I bet the over now lol.  Honestly I think the next couple of games players will be tight and pitching will win.  Going hard on the under now.

Well I guess this is it for this thread for a while ( not that it's been very active lol ).  Anyone catch the final game last night?  Was sad to see my Rays go down.  Bet them to win the game so lost a few satoshis on that, but more upset that the Dodgers won.  Almost as bad as seeing the Yankees win a championship.  Goes to show money can buy a ring ( though the Rays who don't spent any money did a good job trying to combat that ).

Honestly what was Kevin cash thinking pulling snell out in the 6th.  I know it was the third time around on the lineup but 1-3 were 0-6 against snell with 6 strikeouts!  Dude should be fired you can use stats all the time.  No way i would have pulled him.  Live and die with snell last night

That move was giving me flashbacks of the 2016 World Series where Joe Maddon was pulling his starters too early.  I get, they are going to their 3rd time around in the order, but your starting pitchers are there for a reason, they're your best pitchers overall.  Managers like to get too cute sometimes, and always think they've got to go to their bullpen when in reality the better pitcher is standing on the mound already.  Kevin Cash is certainly catching his fair share of flack for all this, deserving so.

Well it's baseball season again so I thought I'd bring this thread back from the dead.  Anyone watching much baseball this year?  I am a Chicago Cubs fan, so even though I've had many many years of struggles and depression for this team..I still love them.  They are certainly not off to a very good start though.

Who do you root for?  Who do you think will win it all this year?

I like the Yankees today and also link that with the under 10.5 in case their bats go silent. The other game(s) i like is both the Boston games (doubleheader) for the over.  6 is the over under and I'm banking on at least one game the both score 3.  If both score 3 the over has to hit.  These shorter games with lower over unders I like, especially in the beginning of the season as the pitchers are still rusty.

Edit: hate to say this but dodgers are definately the team to beat again, their team is so strong.

Well the one team who we know is NOT the team to beat this year and that would be my beloved Chicago Cubs  

It's going to be a long year for them.  I have to agree with you it sure does look like the Dodgers are the leagues best team once again.  Well I mean if you spend that much money on your team, you better be pretty good.  I've got a few extra bucks in my Bovada account I'm trying to decide how to use tonight on the games. Might go with the White Sox at -145..maybe they'll get another no hitter ( how bad of luck was that to miss the perfect game on the last at bat).

It's opening day for Major League Baseball today, anyone else getting excited about it?  Who is your favorite baseball team?  I have been a Chicago Cubs fan for my entire life.  It was a rough time for many many years lol, but my prayers were answered in 2016.  The Cubs play here in just a couple hours which I'll watch, but unfortunately they will likely not be very good this year.  They are certainly in rebuild mode at this point in time.

Who do you guys think will win the World Series this year?? Placing any bets/wagers today?

Whoo hoo.  Yanks 2-0 beating the Sox in extras and today in a pitchers game.  Great way to start out.  Did you read Yanks offered Aaron Judge $217mil contract and he turned it down, lol.  It's gotten out of control.

Yeah definitely a good start.  I think I'm enjoying the red sox troubles more than the yankee start lol.  And yeah the amount of money they make is insane.  I mean what happens if he gets hurt that's debilitating.  I fear he won't be a yankee after this year.  If so why wouldn't you just sign that contract.  This will be his last contract.  Not a bad one to send you off into retirement lol.
