You need to learn about analysis as the member above me said that. But it will not makes you have skills in analysis overnight because that will need time to learn. That is the basic thing that you should have before you trade, but perhaps, you can try to follow one coin moves for the sample.

Let say you want to trade bitcoin pair usdt. You need to follow the chart and make sure that you can buy it at the right time.

You can check the trading interval in the exchange. You can use 1D to see the daily movement, and then if you know the trend is down, you can continue to check on 30 minutes or 15 minutes.

If the trend still at the downtrend, you can try to place an order buy at the price you want, but don't make it close at the first order. You can make the order at the number 3 order queue or number 5, so your order will be filled when the price will down for more.



Perhaps, you need to activate Bollinger Band and MACD to see where the trend will go.

Never try to buy instant because we don't know if the price will increase or decrease more.

But that will depend on how the market moves. Again, if your order already fills, you can check the price to search for what price you should buy. Don't place the order sell too high if the price is not bouncing fast or moves fast because that can make your order need to wait for some time. What coin do you have right now? Trading requires many different skills so that you can make money steadily. It is reckless if you do not have knowledge in this field but still want to have some income with it.  Trading arbitrarily easily makes you to lose a huge amount of money. It is hard to earn those money back. Respect your money and be a investor.

Instead of becoming a trader, becoming an investor is way more better. Not much effort is needed. Patience in holding is the only thing that is essential. I strongly suggest you should only hold coin in the top 10 of the coinmarketcap and try to accumulate more with your salary of your saving. For example, right now, ethereum price is around $300. The first thing that should be aware, what have you done to trade crypto? this question must be answered by yourself.  If you have done something like you have learned about the basic knowledge to trade or some basic strategy I don't think you will always when you make an entry, at least you will get a profit although it is small. This is what has happened to me, before I was a newbie to trade crypto, meaning I underestimate the basic knowledge of trading I always lose money, I never got a small profit at that time. When the price up I'll just hold it because I have to get high profit but the price just down a lot and I sold when I got loss.

But I realized that was wrong and I should change my habbit so as I bought some books about trading and I studied them, I never entry while I learning. When I known the basic knowledge to trade, I try to entry with small amount and I always noticed all the thing that will be happen . And greatfully, I have been changing my bad habit to a good habbit. So, the key you get profit from trading is you should know first the knowledge against it, if you underestimate it you will never get success and comfort when you trade, believe me.

Risk comes with reward, buddy. You dont see a non risky thing to be very profitable. But honestly speaking the profit you make also depends upon a lot of things like buying price and selling price for spot trades. Even more stuff comes in for margin trading.

Or, just buy bitcoin at the dip.

Or, just avoid all altcoins, call them useless and scam and keep focus on bitcoin.

I think you are having a hard time regarding the trading I think one of the best ways is to stop first.

I think you still lack knowledge and ideas with the use of trading, this is base on my experience and opinion only.

Before I start in trading some of the people around me who are already experiencing the use of trading you need to research about the coin you want, next is looking for news, articles and any update on the coin you want, also learning trading strategy may help you a lot to learn more techniques.

During trading, you need to make sure you applied all of the knowledge you acquire. IF you made a mistake always learn from it and don't ignore this. Another note if you think you already losing don't hesitate to pull out your position if you think you still confident why not go.
Trading is risky, it depends on your feeling how much earning you could get. You cannot escape risk but you can prevent having a higher loss.

There is no easy money in Crypto trading that's why you lose profit because you always worried if the price might goes down or if the price will drop more that's why you end up selling your holdings.
You should control your feelings and always do the basic "buy low and sell high" so you must hold your coins even the price drop around 5-10% or more if you don't want to lose you should hold it until the price recover and make your profit.

There is no surety that you can make profit daily with trading. Occasionally crypto market shows the downward movement for few days. So you have to accept the loss during those time. Losing is part of trading but by the way you are expressing yourself it is as if you traded without a plan and without a doubt that is a mistake, you ask what you need to know to become a successful trader, the first thing is why are you making the trade on the first place, do you know? Did you invested based solely on hype? If true then that is your first mistake, when you trade you need to have very specific reasons to do so.

You also need to know how much do you expect to earn in this trade before you sell? How much are you willing to lose on this trade before you cut your losses? How long will you hold your coins in the case the coin moves sideways to not lose the opportunity of another coin going up? And that is the bare minimum and you do not seem to have an answer to any of those questions.

What do you need to know is everything about the crypto asset that you are trading or you are planning to trade.
The history, the current value (is it the average? Or currently at hype).
For me, I won't suggest you to buy any cryptos on it's hype periods.
You must buy them at a lowest possible price, but it's not easy to be completed.
Then sell it high, when you are comfortable with the profit.

If you have no confident to what you are doing then it will be wise if you will just pause it for a while then find a solution in order to solve those problems that you are encountering like why all your portfolio are down and etc.

As you are new in trading platform, you should learn the basics of trading. You need more market analysis. I'll suggest you to go for day trading. Try to earn 4-6% profit at a time.

It is very difficult for a novice to do daily transactions, they do not have much experience so it is easy to get FOMO.
I think it is best for newcomers to try to learn and follow those who have had success in the crypto market. Ideally at the beginning, a novice should invest a small amount of money, after getting used to the transaction they will invest a larger amount.

If everything you buy goes down then it is enough for the price to recover and increase, because it's useless if you sell when the price is lower than the purchase, even though you sell to buy another asset, then still it won't return your money 100%. So all you do is enough to hold it and continue to be patient, making a sell order will be an option you can do too if you can't monitor the market all the time.
