I don't think it's a question of where and how BTC can be spent anymore, because it has been more than obvious that there are thousands of online stores that accept BTC as a means of payment - but the discussion has turned into how the fees are too high and the issue of taxes. Even if these issues were fully clarified, I believe the OP would find some other reason to still believe that BTC is useless.

I don't mind that everyone has their own opinion, after all, everyone should use the payment options that suit them best at a given moment. I like to pay with BTC, but in some situations I use other options because it is more convenient for me or BTC is simply not a payment option.

There are many shops where you can use your crypto to purchase any kind of product you want in the shop.  Cryptocurrency is not favouring you does not mean is not favouring others. There are many crypto shops in my area where you can buy goods from shops and pay with your crypto without anybody question why you use crypto as payment.
I will advise you to make some research in your area about where you can use your crypto to purchase goods from the shop. I think there are many shops in your area just that you are afraid to ask people where you can use crypto in the shops.

It takes time to make things work like you are paying with Fiat.
and also not all countries implement crypto, that means it will still take a long time for all countries to implement crypto as a means of payment.
There are several countries that have implemented it, but only apply to a few items, and also with certain restrictions for each purchase, unlike fiat money which is freely used around the world.

In the past there were places for me to spend bitcoin and yes, I was just looking for and using a local platform so that the delivery of goods could be done as quickly as possible but in the end there were new rules made by the local government. There are countries where you can't use cryptocurrency but there are lots of international shops where you can purchase stuff using crypto. We're lucky because in our country, we're able to purchase different things in our local online shop using crypto specifically Bitcoin and Ethereum using our local crypto wallet. We can even pay bills using it. Adoption is really what we need so more countries and merchants would accept crypto. Just have the patience for now. Things will get better for crypto in the future.

There are only few shops that accept the crypto in some countries, but it doesn't mean that crypto is useless, because there are still so many ways to convert crypto into fiat, in short we can still used crypto by converting it first into fiat with the help of different exchange, and through fiat we can buy things that we need. In my country  there are no shops that accept crypto that is why we need wallet or exchange that can convert crypto to fiat and after converting we cam freely used our fiat to buy. You cannot find shops where you can spend bitcoins but there are numerous ways of spending bitcoins and you can buy anything with bitcoins if you are smart enough. For example you can get amazon and 100+ giftcards on bitrefill with bitcoins and with that you can shop so that is one way and apart from that there are credit cards which can be reloaded with bitcoins and then you can spend them wherever you want to. As long as you are smart enough you can spend bitcoins and buy everything or anything.

Cryptos are not useless. There are indeed areas or countries wherein most of the services are not accepting such technology as a mode of payment, but that doesn't define its usefulness. Majority of the people who are in this industry are making use of cryptos full potential. i more or less agree with you. there is not a really practical use case of crypto yet. But we buy crypto as an investment only. Cryptocurrencies are not for short term but in near future, blockchain technology will start dominating most of financial ecosystems.

Dude i am from the beginning in the crypto world ... i even built an exchange platform similar to localcryptos ... what i am telling you  is beside trading,gambling,money laundering and a few online websites that accept it ,crypto is useless...

Have you ever been updated on what you country stands about crypto usage? Maybe that is the first thing that you must check before going ranting about crypto of being useless just because you cannot spend it. Cryptocurrencies are very useful if you really do have a freedom on using it which is can be dependent on what your government stands and believes about crypto usage for it concerns legalization and wide adaption that are keys to be able for the people to directly spend their cryptocurrencies whenever they wanted because the government and the people are widely accepting the fact that cryptocurrencies do exist and it have a purpose and usage. You came to the right forum mate, there is legal issue when you look on google search and indeed there won't any service which you can pay bitcoin as a mean of payment.

Like in my country, there is no merchant who will accept bitcoin as a mean of payment and yeah you won't ever seen any information in google search. I guess, you have find a lot of information first before you tell bitcoin is usesless because the fact is not like that.

 i searched the word " buy with bitcoin " on google and i came up with so many results . this includes article sites that list all the sites that accepts bitcoin and also side answers where the site was already posted plus the items that they sold . so how come why you didnt  got such results  ? are you sure you use google or maybe your drunk and you have used other search engines  but crypto is not that new to not see a store that accepts it  . crypto has a value and you can use it for trade , investment  and paying if your having a hard time of finding a store that accepts it  .

Interestingly there is a big deal about how amazon, steam and many other places started to accept bitcoin in 2017 period, but they stopped accepting it, which means there was HUGE names that accepted bitcoin, but everyone seemed to forgot about this in the end and asking where they can spend it nowadays.

Places like MICROSOFT which is huge, overstock, newegg, expedia, and even starbucks for certain things all accept bitcoin, these are HUGE companies and I can't believe people still trying to understand or see where it could be spent, why would anyone deny these huge names to make bitcoin look like it is useless. Obviously this is nothing compared to what it will be like in the future, in 5 to 10 years time we are going to have billions of dollars worth companies accepting it and I wonder what they will say about that.
