We have two options already, either each and everyone of us prefers btc or eth with different purposes as long as you're earning sustainable profit. Usage of bitcoin is not a matter at all. people buy bitcoin because bitcoin is valuable and known. On the other side ethereum brings real solutions in market with better transaction speeds, smart contract etc.
