Again, seems to be very attractive rewards, 5000 ETH are going to be split and distributed, but don't as this is an obvious scam again.

How did you find it?

Was it one of the many YouTube streams that seem to be going on now? I think I saw a large number of people tune into one, but I assumed they were bots or frbricated somehow.

This is quite an oldish tactic, must be going on for a few months at least...

I hope no one will send eth on this address. A very common strategy to rip off naive users from the internet. More than likely, the figures on their website are just as fake as their giveaway. If they are not hiding anything, they should make those addresses (top competitors) clickable on their site but nope. So they are just manipulating the numbers here.

Exactly, we will never see this come true because it is definitely a scam. The number of similar websites isn't small, the tricks are also quite sophisticated, newcomers shouldn't let greed overwhelm their mind.

Exactly, we will never see this come true because it is definitely a scam. The number of similar websites isn't small, the tricks are also quite sophisticated, newcomers shouldn't let greed overwhelm their mind.

But we still can't say if no beginners will fall for this trick and that's why scammers are always building this kind of scam website. As for the numbers of websites, they are growing, as criminals make a lot of domain registration and who's name have something to do with crypto. And the trick is not that sophisticated as this has been over exposed already, but still effective for them. But you mentioned one good thing though, it's the greed factor that makes someone become a victim of this scams.

Those who are new to crypto have concerns about how their funds will increase. Because there is very little information they get about crypto before they come to the crypto market. They keep looking for different ways in the hope of quick profit. There are many crypto users who can't control their greed, always running towards attractive ads.

Scammers are constantly continuing their activities because they get victims after creating such fake websites. Because if they didn't get any victims, they wouldn't have spent money to create such websites.

Like that, when the scamer gets a victim then they can create a new website and spread it on several social media, and surely there are still victims who fall for their tricks so that the scamer is still making new sites for the next trap.

Newbie has no basis in cryptocurrency so they can still take greed if it is not controlled.

Yes, it was one of those Youtube streams that can't seems to be taken down very quick by Youtube. Or if one is take down, 10 more streams pop up with the same intention.

This is quite an oldish tactic, must be going on for a few months at least...

Quite oldish, but I'm guessing that many are still falling for this trick as scammers continue to do it clockwork. We need more people to report it here: https://safebrowsing.google.com/safebrowsing/report_phish/?hl=en

I do see the same scamming scheme like this If my memory is right, I saw some of these posted on Youtube and they are encouraging plenty of people to be their victims.

Nowadays there's is no such free. There are lots of these scammers roaming all around the internet which are very alarming.
