Nothing is legit  except you tried on your own part because someone giving you hope about how good is cryptocurrency especially bitcoin you won't understand it or believe it, because I seen it as something that should be done based on practical aspects of it and the theoretical aspects of cryptocurrency. Legitimacy of anything base on my views our wash and wants towards objective, looking at it in other way I can directly assure a new user that Btc is legit.

This question should be made when Satoshi launched Bitcoin in this forum for the first time. I guess there was already the same question like this, so it is not needed to ask again, mate. You should know the answer, with all Bitcoin's achievements so far, it is very easy to say that "Bitcoin is legit". Well, although not everyone can gain profits, we must admit that there are already many people successful in Bitcoin investment or trading. If there are some to fail, it is probably about the strategy or careless way in investment/trading.

Perhaps, it is a story to tell that Bitcoin exists more than a decade, people are using it, and they find it legit.
Should we need Trump and Putin to clearly say Bitcoin is legit and not scam? I don't think that US President will do that because he is against crypto since before...

Well, bitcoin is legit. At least, that is what I know about bitcoin. I can make real money from bitcoin, and so far, I am still trying to make more money. I don't know what people reason to say bitcoin is not legit, but I only think that people do not benefit from bitcoin, so they say like that. But I don't want to force people to say bitcoin is legit because that will depend on bitcoin's perspective. It is up to them to judge bitcoin because they use bitcoin or not because I do not know. But bitcoin is for everyone who believes and wants to use bitcoin.

Bitcoin is the reserve currency for the crypto world. It's here to stay, not an exit scam so It's never to late to make investment on it. We should not give up, the initial period investors are in profit that's true so people who claim this is loss sector those are definitely might fail to realize how potential it is or unhappy to see others success.

I am not that too good about cryptocurrency but I can say that bitcoin is legit and secured as long as the wallet storing it is safe and legit, bitcoin is easy to be stolen by havkers and scammers but is hard to return but this can be prevented once you are using a safe wallet.

Bitcoin itself is legit, it was made year 2009, how can you say that it is fake if until now it is atill existing, bitcoin lives for 11 years as of now and it will live longer for the future.

I wait for donald Trump or Putin ,  Simonetta Sommaruga or pope of vatican opinion If btc is good or not!!

Bitcoin already survive for more than a decade already and it has been better from where it started I don't know what you are really asking here.
Your question here depends on each point of view it is legit for those who believes it and not for those who have lost a lot and decided to quit on it.
You could never know how much time it has or how long it would last and I don't know how would you say that it would be better because for me it is better compare to it's low value last year.

actually very simple that we know crypto clearly is bitcoin not another token even though it is also contained in it. but crypto is bitcoin is one side that has happened so far.

is it profitable to hold and invest bitcoin if that question occurs, obviously profitable because we all know that we are all pursuing and investing money in bitcoin, which is mainly new to other tokens.

If Satoshi will not made a statement that bitcoin is not legit then it is a genuine thought for me. But famous people like John Mcafee or even Warren Buffet, now way! I just wanna do my own research than what they have said. If bitcoin is not legit then we never seen it grow just like now. It devaluates when it sudden moved in 2017. However, we can see how far it has done since it launched in the market. Many people thought that bitcoin is a scam because there are many scammers who used bitcoin as their front in scamming people. Due to the lack of knowledge, we easily enter the scam which leads us in trauma in terms of investment.

I think Bitcoin is perfectly legal to use and in some countries it even uses Bitcoin and there are no problems with using it, but why don't you trust Bitcoin, I think you should really learn more about using Bitcoin and how. Actually, bitcoin is legit it's just that people are abusing it that's why some people still doubt Bitcoin. I don't know why you still have some doubts and still ask this kind of question when you have been active here in the forum for some time already. Also, would people like us still be into Bitcoin or even spend time here if it's not legit? While safety is already on your part, how you will secure your assets.

I would understand OP asking this question if you are new to bitcoin but since you've been here for a year now, why still ask this kind of question?

If you will browse his post history, he has a lot of threads created but some of them are really meaningless. What I want to say is, questions that you can answer yourself by common sense. So I don't know if the OP is trolling the forum or he is serious about stating his opinions? But just to give brief answer whether bitcoin is legit or not. Absolutely legit! Because if it is not, maybe up until now you can't convert it to your fiat. So for me, that's the easy answer on that. Bitcoin has equivalent fiat value in the market. This is the reason why you can spend it in so many ways. I don't know what's the point of the OP here. If he doesn't believe in btc, why is he still in the forum?

I won't go here if bitcoin is not legit. I am one of the proofs that bitcoin is legit because bitcoin is the one who helped me to earn a big amount of money. It's safeness depends on how will you protect it and if you give so much effort to protect your bitcoin then you will surely be having a safe transaction. You also need to have a lot of knowledge to keep your transaction safe and you have to know where to trade and where to sell your bitcoin so that you can minimize the transaction fee.

i think being legal and legit are two different word . op is asking if its legit and not if its legal or not .

 those people that said is legal can be biased because they are living on a country where btc is accepted by the government or in other words already legal but theres a country too where btc is not yet legal . its a wrong thinking to believe on what others are saying  but you can research it to find out if what they are saying is true or not  but if they say btc is legit , that is the truth  . no need to research for that

I'd not say the Bitcoin is 100% safe but I can assure you it is legit. I think there are several reputable people who have already claimed Bitcoin was legit and as a matter of fact, they've probably been procuring worth millions of it.  Besides, I don't think people like Donald Trump or other members of the government will claim it as legit and safe because it seems a threat to them, the fact that they don't have the power to manipulate this decentralized currency. So if I were you, you don't need to follow someone's opinion especially if they have no experience any of it, regards Bitcoin or Crypto.
