VPN won't help you much trust me, if the security agencies of your nation wanna find you; VPNs can't do much.
I sincerely think that running a dedicated tor node for the purpose will be better than spending money on VPNs.

I don't have issues with jurisdiction prohibition and that's why I don't have to use it. IMHO, there are traders that do that especially those who are living in those countries that you have described.
That's their only way to access and be allowed to trade.

The problem with the TOR network is you need to have more users using the network if not any government or agency monitoring the network can pin point you. In fact VPN is much safer in that aspect and if you are too scared about it you can use both TOR and VPN in tandem which will give you a much higher privacy. While trading it depends upon the exchange i decide on using TOR or VPN. |

If you are going to use VPN it may cause you a problem in the future the same as what happened to other traders before who use VPN and now suffer from verification or make their account freeze.
I think it would be better if you use VPS instead and buy a dedicated IP or residential IP. That way exchanges will detect you as a real user unlike on using a VPN that the IP it gives you always changes every time you connect to VPN so it might cause you trouble in the future.

Do you think Tor is safe for most transaction of cryptocurrency? Trying to avoid the Government can expose you to worse hack or scam except you know how to protect yourself using tor for crypto trade. |

If you are in a region where accessing crypto-related websites e.g exchanges or trading platform, is heavily restricted, you have no choice but to use VPN or to use a proxy address. But as much as possible, if you are free to access such websites in your region, don't make things complicated and don't use VPN for such as a reason that you want to hide your IP or something along those lines as it might give you tons of problems with the exchanges. Anyways, to give you a much better response, what's the reason you ask for this? |

No.
Because when you are login on different IP, sometimes you always need to do verify of your account by email. Also, some exchange can fronze your transaction deposit/withdrawal a few day when they see us login with new IP or asking some KYC when doing some large fund using VPN.

I do not use VPN when I do trading because my country is a cryptocurrency-friendly. This is why we can trade or even play gambling in online without any use of VPN. The harm of being scammed was said by the government to the citizens of my country. They won't restricted us to invest but they only said that investing or trading may lose our funds. Well, its part of the risk. Anyway, if you want to have a freely trade. VPN is good. |

I tried to use a VPN before when I am using Bitmex to trade. Because in our office before, there are some website restrictions that you cannot access, you can't browse some websites so I needed to use VPN just to access Bitmex website and I will able to trade while I am in the office.
Although Bitmex is not restricted the country where I am from, Bitmex also found out, and after how many days I got an email about closing my account because of I am in the country where Bitmex is not allowed, and I needed to withdraw all my funds immediately because of my account is about to be deactivated.

Until now, I have never traded with activates a VPN because my country does not prohibit crypto exchanges...
I heard that those in countries that prohibit crypto exchanges from using a VPN or Tor to trade, I am personally afraid to use a VPN when trading because network security is weak.

I don't think that the Virtual Private Network(VPN) can help you regarding accessing a trading platform because this may cause you trouble sooner or later.
If you are using your PC and you unexpectedly click or visit a website that is restricted to your country there is a chance they may detect your access. We cannot deny this may happen.
If you are using your Mobile devices.
There is a chance they might detect your email and other information every time you access on their platform.
Hence.
You can search on your browser to help you more on using VPN.
"Vpn exchange" - there is some issues and problem regarding accessing on different trading platform using VPN
"Vpn use" - to give you more idea what are the scope of the VPN.

I agree about TOR needing good amount of users to obfuscate your location, but then which VPN do u suggest? If you are going to use VPN it may cause you a problem in the future the same as what happened to other traders before who use VPN and now suffer from verification or make their account freeze.

Brother, if you are so much in need of privacy and protection from govt, then you better learn to protect yourself from hacks too. You can't have decentralisation without any responsibility. I do not use vpn when trading because using vpn can cause problems using public wifi when trading an open public wifi hotspot is that requires a password to connect to wifi it even prevents data from being exchanged on your device and hotspot. This means that your data may be hacked if you use the free wifi zone there is also the possibility of personal data being thrown or hacked.

Using vpn for trading is not worth it. There are no such of difference between using vpn or not. The main problem is there are such of exchangers that available on your country and there's no problem if you are willing to explore and no such using vpn.

What is the point of using VPN when all thr the centralized exchange asks you to complete KYC. And if you decide to go within their no KYC trading limit by using VPN still you are going to get troubles because exchanges can suspend your account for suspicious activity and will ask you to do KYC. |

When you are using VPN be sure you have read the terms of service of the trading platform you are using, it's to risky, we have seen a lot of complaints in the gambling section about using a VPN and they encounter issues when they tried to withdraw a lot of money, this is not a remote possibility in your case.

Just stepping in this question. With most people that are using VPN, I've always read them saying about any paid VPN and one VPN is the Nord VPN. I haven't used it but it's the VPN that I usually read when someone suggests about a VPN. |
