Banxa.com honest reviews and customer experiences requested

Does anyone have experience of using Banxa.com to purchase crypto using fiat ? What's their customer service like ?Have you found them to be honest and forthcoming when there is any transaction issue or mishap ? Can Banxa.com be trusted or are they not reputable- best not to get involved with ? Do they hold your money and don't pay it back ? Are there any instances of Banxa taking payment and then not providing the crypto ?

 (Just checking because currently I'm having concerns with my recent transaction and their tardiness in reaching resolution- just need to hear if anyone else has heard anything to awaken concerns as to legitimacy and integrity of practises).

I welcome all honest and measured feedback. So far I've only seen service provider posts about Banxa- presumably originating from Banxa. I'm seeking to hear actual customer experiences. Thanks

The platform has been around since 2017, I think. I have never used it so can't tell you about the customer experience but the problem with such platforms. They will block your funds if they think the source is suspicious regardless of your past good trades or other happy users.
I just checked out their Trustpilot and there seems to be a good number of happy customers with a few unhappy ones of course.

Check some reviews using trustpilot will be good, you can use the above link to enter the trustpilot and check Banxa review directly, but some of the review are more about transactions, but few reviewed the Banxa's customer care to be excellent. I too have not used it before but checking it there is highly suggested because it is people using the site that posted the reviews.

I tried to search about the Banxa.com site in this forum, did not find the site, to be honest I recently heard about the Banxa.com site, even how it works I don't know what kind of business it is.

OP, we prefer to use exchange sites related to fiat, crypto etc, which have a good reputation in this forum, it seems the site Banxa.com, not very familiar with us, so very little to know whether their reputation is honest or not.

Thanks. That sounds reassuring. I'm familiar with trust pilot.
I'll hold off from writing a review until after the conclusion of this matter- it might be just a mismatch in my expectation verses Banxa standards for communicating and keeping the customer properly updated and informed of what's going on.
I'm willing to reserve judgement- reputation counts for a lot- therefore I do not wish to condemn them publicly too soon.

So many exchanges now offer buying crypto directly using fiat such as Binance, Kraken etc

• Crypto exchanges comparison [trade fee + listing fee + age + mobile app + more!] - List is not update but it will give you an idea of a few exchanges you can try out

You can also use P2P marketplaces. Some don't require KYC and give you full control of our funds (no risk of having your funds or accounts blocked like Bisq and Localcryptos

• A list of LocalBitcoin alternatives (P2P marketplaces)

You can also check Bestchange (link in my signature) to compare exchange rates of different exchangers for the exchange pair you want.

The best advice has been to go check out trust pilot. I also determined to submit my own feedback- gave them a real good public flogging- funnily enough, I later got my first proper bit of information back from Banxa at some point within hours of leaving it

Have all your transaction issues with them been resolved. I noticed that their rep over there was so swift responding to any issues that arose from unsatisfied customers so it was the right thing to do.

Just be aware Banxa makes errors regularly, they are aware of it but they don´t feel responsable for the losses that may occur. Good luck if you do business with them.

Here my situation
I sent 20th of juli 9.590,26 worth 44,5000 ETH via Banxa to Binance
for some reason this transfer was passed 6 days later, 27th of juli from Banxa to Binanc withe the value  of 33,213 ETH

BTW an other transfer I made the same day just passed on the same day.

The difference is 11,387 ETH ...... Banxa agnoliged the error but I am still wait for the compensation.

11,387 ETH is a very huge amount even if they claim it was lost in fees. Try to pressurize their support to provide you an explanation on what happened and also refund your money. If they don't help you or if they take too long, then you should create a scam accusation in a different thread so that future users may avoid using the service.

Here is the truth: A gentleman going by the name of Albert James, acting as a BitCoin broker, IS THE SCAMMER.

Banxa.com will process your money/payment using their website, which will forward all money sent to the personal Digital Wallet belonging to the person who claims to be Albert James. He IS NOT LOCATED IN THE UNITED STATES. An IP trace puts his physical location in India.

Also, he will try to video call you on WhatsApp, once he realizes his cover is blown. The WhatsApp number, the New York City based office address... IS ALL FAKE. Moreover, you will never receive any platform information where you login to manage any digital wallet. Banxa.com is setup to take money from you, and immediately transfer to where James Albert has FULL CONTROL of the Digital Wallet address.

Lastly, be aware as of this moment, authorities from The Netherlands, are Australia preparing to close in on Banxa.com and seize/freeze all holdings. I personally have communicated with the scammer, and have all records to prove the entire operation is fraudulent.

I've been on WhatsApp with this company and person, and I CAN ASSURE YOU... THE WHOLE OPERATION IS A SCAM.

If there's anyone here advising you to try it, ARE APART OF THE TEAM OF SCAMMERS. So far... I've run the scammer off his WhatApp. Now we are working getting the company's registration shut down in Netherlands and Australia. Again, if you need me to help, hit up on the email. Peace.

I would seriously discourage anyone from using Banxa.
I sent them £50 by mistake (the amount did not match the amount in the order). This occurred over two months ago and in spite of several emails requesting my money back, I am still waiting.
I am constantly being informed that the issue has been referred to the finance department for a refund - it never happens. I have asked them for the name of the regulatory body under whose jurisdiction they are under, but they have not told me.
£50 is a relatively small amount, but I would not entrust them with any money at all now.

Unfortunately, occasionally this means we are not able to verify customers due to these restrictions. Due to legal constraints, we are not able to give you any more information at this time.
Kindly wait for 1 to 5  business days for bank confirmation after we process the refund. We will refund your payment once it is cleared in our account."

see responses / information from several people about Banxa.com (their valuable funds / money that is held by Banxa). although I haven't used their services before, I think it's better if we avoid them. to avoid losing our money. many cases discussed, it indicates that there will be indications of a scam. we must be vigilant and careful. thank you

They must have had a customer service mail, or rather a telegram group where customers performs any complain, I tried checked that in their site but can't find their telegram group.

I was just looking at reviews on the trustpilot platform, it was all positive and no user complains about malicious act or failure in transactions, I wouldn't be surprised if all the good responses are set by banxa, but be careful with unknown platforms.
