Would you please be so kind to explain the community why initially from block 1 beginning (timestamp is 06.02.2021, 12:31 AM) a block reward of 2002 BTCU was issued, in the meantime arbitrary values of several thousand BTCU (which has been modified afterwards during this day to 0.002 BTCU), and currently generally 0.002 BTCU? Where and when has been the change of the consensus rules been discussed and defined? Further I have to mention that your ZIP-file provided at your newly created GitHub repository containing the blockchain is offline. Furthermore, the community would like to know why the genesis block has been mined in 06.03.2020, 10:41 AM already and how a snapshot of the Bitcoin balances has been implemented to call this a Bitcoin fork? Further I would like to ask why you only provided a 32 bit version of the Orion wallet, which pretends to be a qt-wallet in his name. Last but not least I have to mention that the exe-file crashes on a WIN7-system, so no test is possible anyway.

ℹ️ Today we will start with the BTCU operation principle.

🔹 BTCU is based on a combination of viable solutions that employ technological innovation to address and expand opportunities for applying blockchain technology. The basic operation principles of each technology in the BTCU ecosystem works in a usual mode for users or developers. 😏 Here we are again. Today we’d like to talk about UPoS. What is it? UPoS refers to Ultimatum PoS - a New Decentralized consensus algorithm based on a combination of LPoS & PoA, considered as a more democratic principle.

🔹️ Leased Proof-of-Stake (LPoS) allows everyday users with no technical expertise to help secure the network, leasing their BTCU to full nodes without losing control of their coins. Whereas PoA is for validating and generating new blocks.

Ok, that’s clear, but how does it work❓
Everything is based on validators - masternodes that generate blocks and confirm them on the network - and leasing. We will tell you what masternodes and leasing are in our upcoming  #AsEasyAsBTCU editions.

⚡️ BTCU’s first 10 validators include large exchanges, cryptocurrency projects and development companies. One of which is Prof-IT Blockchain Limited, as a development team. The remaining validators will be elected as partners or advisers, each of whom is independent of each other in terms of creating blocks and voting decisions.

👍 Now, briefly, on voting. It is the process of decision making by validators about any events on the network. This may relate to operations such as changing transactions or transactions for implementing smart contracts, fulfilling conditions (i.e. staking and leasing in a required amount as an indicator of community trust)

Where can I check the airdrop rewards❓
- Participants can check their BTCU accrual in the explorer on: https://explorer.btcu.io/?mainnet

I entered my BTC address in the explorer search box but it says “Nothing found”. Why❓
- Make sure you enter your BTC address correctly. All airdrop participants who held BTC on their private wallets at the time of the fork (block 669204) may check their BTCU accruals in the explorer now.

- Those who held their BTC on exchanges that supported the fork CAN NOT see their BTCU now, as all accruals for exchanges will be credited later.

- For those who held their BTC on custodial wallets which do not belong to exchanges that supported the fork WILL NOT receive an AirDrop.

When will the BTCU rewards be credited on the exchanges' wallets❓
- BTCU accruals will occur once the coins are released on those exchanges. After that, exchanges will credit BTCU to users who had BTC in their account at the time of the fork.

What if I held my bitcoins on an exchange that ignored Airdrop at the time of the fork❓
- You can still get your BTCU by providing proof of BTC balance at the time of the fork. Also, the exchanges that decide to distribute BTCU coins among users that met the airdrop conditions will be able to receive them by filling out an application and contacting the BTCU team.

Where can I get the Masternode address❓
- To set up a masternode, follow the instructions at https://github.com/bitcoin-ultimatum/orion. Visit our page at https://btcu.io/partnership to read the terms and conditions and email your request to our team on: masternode@btcu.io.

If I didn't have BTC before February 5, will I be eligible to receive BTCU❓
- Unfortunately, you won’t be eligible to receive BTCU per the terms of the airdrop. After BTCU are listed on exchanges, you can buy or sell them normally.  

Is it still possible to earn BTCU coins❓
- Despite the end of the airdrop, you can still take part in our bug bounty program. In case you successfully complete the tasks offered by our technical team or your own found bug is identified as relevant, you will be rewarded with BTC / ETH / USDT / USDC / BTCU.

Can I trade/withdraw my BTC now❓
- Yes, feel free to do that, as the snapshots of your BTC balances were taken at the time of the fork.

Can I buy BTCU now❓
- BTCU coins are not accessible for trading now. We’ll inform our community about all listing updates on our social media channels.  

When will BTCU be listed on exchanges❓ Are there any exchanges that have confirmed their partnership with your project❓
- We are in the process of negotiating with Binance, Huobi, KuCoin, & Okex to support the fork.
On the other hand, cryptocurrency exchanges like Liquid, Probit, Yobit, Coinsbit, Biki, P2Pb2b, LocalTrade, Folgory, Bitforex, BiOne, Alterdice, LBank have already declared their support for the fork.

What will be the price of BTCU on the exchanges❓ What's the actual price of your coin❓
- The price of any coin is determined by market conditions. The actual price is not set yet and will be known after BTCU is listed on trading platforms.

Every week we share a series of posts that help you better understand the BTCU ecosystem and its fundamentals. 

And as we promised, this time we’ll be focusing on Masternodes. We will leave details about leasing for the subsequent publications.

ℹ️ To put it simply, a masternode is a complete node that supports the operations of a network by performing specific computing tasks and at the same time keeping the full copy of the blockchain in real-time.

🔹 For example, each user of the BTCU network can transfer or receive a private transfer of BTCU coins by transferring them from one public address of the network to the other. Such transactions are not displayed in the public network. They are stored and processed by the Masternodes and are confirmed by the Validators. Functioning as the backbone of the network, it generates blocks; by way of validating and adding them to the BTCU public blockchain.
