If I'm not wrong, Flash won't be supported anymore very soon. I see that there is a button to insert Flash in the comments on the forum and, while I have never used it before, I know it is a powerful tool to insert animations that I would like to research in the future to improve the quality of my threads.

Adobe will end support of Flash Player on December 31, 2020. Here's what you can expect in the meantime for each Microsoft browser: In the next version of Microsoft Edge (built on Chromium), Flash will be disabled by default. ... Flash will be completely removed from all browsers by December 31, 2020, via Windows Update.

Is there something "in the making" to change this feature and still be able to add animations in one's posts? HTML5? I can't find any information about it here.

Sorry if there is something obvious that I don't take into account about this topic but I'm a total noob in this area Embarrassed

The flash bbcode doesn't work in this forum anyway and your only option for animations is a gif file. I wouldn't suggest to use even that aside from an occasional meme. This is not a site that needs animations to make the most of millennial 10-second attention spans.

 Wink understood!

Thanks, @suchmoon, for enlightening me on this topic. I will focus my 10-second attention span in some other, more rewarding tasks, so Cheesy
