The Anti-Sars protests in cities across Nigeria came after weeks of outcry online from young people in the country over claims of kidnapping,
harassment and extortion by a police unit known as the Special Anti Robbery Squad (SARS). Demonstrations continued after the inspector general of police announced Sunday that the unit was being disbanded and its officers redeployed.

And Some celebrities and football stars have commiserated with their Nigerian folks so as to ensure that police brutality in Nigeria does not see the light of day.

Below is the list of some celebrities and how they have engaged in the #EndSARS campaign:

It's outrageous what the armed forces and government can do to it's people and care very less about it. It makes me sick just to think of it. For how long shall it continues, it's a good thing the youths have learnt to fight for our rights and so long as we continue to be peaceful in seeking what is rightly ours by being citizens of a great nation, our hopes and aspirations would be granted us one day.
