This morning I received a spam email of a fake Wrapped Bitcoin airdrop. What is interesting is that it arrived to an email address of mine not associated with crypto, airdrops, giveaways of any kind, or this forum. As you can see from the screenshot below, the email is properly written with no obvious grammatical mistakes. It is not the usual "grammar-friendly" attempt.
Pay attention to the email address it came from, and the amounts the scammers are advertising. 0.05 WBTC is almost $570.
Total value: $50 Million!I haven't clicked on the link so I don't know if it leads to a phishing site or downloads malware.
The lesson is always the same. Don't click on unknown links and don't believe in free money!
