Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

Hello, I've had this brought to my attention here also with a recent match with a Chinese female on Tinder.
However, all of the research that I can find online does not implicate it as a scam. Please advise on what you have found to shed some light on this as a scam and not a legitimate opportunity.
Thank you

This means you do not care about your money, when it comes to investing you do not invest because your friend say so or some random people is very convincing and pushy you do your own research ask the community's opinion, you did not do this so you got scammed, now you learned your lesson the hard way, all my investment comes here not from any random people I meet in social media, develop a mind of your own.

Well, this sounds so wrong ^^
So let's clarify: I care about my money, I did not invest a penny on this website, I did my own research, I did not got scammed, I learn the lesson as I was careful, I have a mind of my own, thank you...!

1) virtually nobody on internet heard about this website
2) the website domain is only a few months old according to Whois search
3) the website has virtually no traffic according to Alexa
4) the website is very poorly built
5) the whitepaper makes no sense from business point of view
6) and the obvious, a Tinder chick you never met and asking you to invest money is not someone to trust

LOL hahaha I guess they had the same tinder suggestions yet tinder recommends a catfish who scams innocent-to-crypto people. But dude, we cannot really just say nor imply to all of the people that they should research first, there are really some scammers that were so convincing that you might don't wanna check its integrity anymore. Yet, meanwhile, some really just aren't fond onto learning what is crypto and just keeps investing on things they aren't aware of because their mindset was only to invest and earn and earn and earn.

Furthermore, OP must indicate the chatlogs and you can sensor the sensitive info that could disclose your info. Though you are right with your certain points, it is too subjective to accuse without evidences.

I also came in contact with her. Lucy or Qiqi were the alias given to me.
I have the phone number, Chinese license plate number, and email address she used to sign into her edctmine.com account.

I have searched google for their support email address and found another site linked with it. Movie-ct.com

Can't seem to match up the names to the photos of the people listed on the whitepaper either.

China girl said she deals with mary meeker for financial advise and was told to invest in ECT.

Perhaps if all these people stated in the white paper could be contacted and questioned, including mary meeker, then we could have a more clear understanding of what's going on.

If it is a scam then it would be best to try to take action against whoever is behind this.

Also, the site is https secured and registered with godaddy.

There are indeed many signals that this would be a scam. But there are also some aspects that show that this might be legit.
Like the fact that you can find EDCT coin and ECT both owned by the same holder with etherscan. There appears to be a volume of 100,000,000 ect. A confirmed smartcontract exists, and the transactions are all confirmed.
So this is one of the indicators that this might be legit.

It's very confusing situation

yes this is true....the price went up until 1 Dec when it was supposed to go 'live'.
Then the live date was pushed out to 15Dec to finish with the docking to currency exchanges.
from the 1 - 10th the price was crashing and then it went offline .
so, guess if it's not live on the 15th it was a scam after all
