Yeah, sad fact is that bitcoin isn't what is was some years ago and while it's sad, the current situation sounds very logical, I would even be surprised if it wasn't like that. Bitcoin turned into commercial business. Big companies are on the prowl, they make takeover bids to buy other ones, for example like finance did and bought coinmarketcap. What do you think, are they silly to pay 400 million USD in a website that shows cryptocurrencies prices? No, they have a strategy around it that will bring them 400 million and even more back while also giving them the power they seek.
Bitmain upgrades equipment, mines a lot and then sells them like an innovative product while it's already old for them.

You are correct that BTC is unique and if anybody first come to cryptoworld he must first know about BTC nothing else. BTC covers about 72-5% of whole crypto market and rest of others. I've caught your idea in your post. And of course agree that BTC is a unique and really revolutionary thing that has happened to us in this century. But I can not agree that the Bitcoin holder or someone who has assets in BTC has got savings with no limits. First the price is always changing and this is the most important thing that investor should remember. Second - some countries still keep some limitations and regulations for those who prefer to use crypto. So of course Bitcoin is a great thing, but only for those who hold it wisely and keep on touch with all the changes on the whole market.

Bitcoin isn't unique to man, it is an unique development by man. Bitcoin isn't the first digitized currency human have used. Already there is few cryptocurrencies in the market, and none have gained such a great acceptance as bitcoin. Maybe in the earlier days it is used for bad, but the technology gave a big outcome. My definition for a good investor is someone who has a track record of good investments over a long-enough period of time.
