Had a few of these for a while now and they have been fine averaging the advertised 500MH each at the pool.

As you know, when the DAG changes they start again with the tuning and it takes around an hour to get back up to normal speed.

However on the last DAG change the speed on them all has plummeted and they are only getting around 430MH.

Wondering if anyone else has observed this.  I have machines at 2 locations which sort of rules out it being an issue at my end.

Thanks, swapped a few of mine from nanopool to the 2miners pool to see if that made any difference but it didn't, so it's not an issue with the pools.

Its the same here with the A10 pro 5G. The hashrate is down to 400 - 430 since DAG epoch 369. I've had a quick look into the local stats today and saw a 20% invalid shares - no HW failure. My last reset was yesterday.

In September I've had 550-650 MH/s (balanced mode).

It's a problem with all machines on all pools.

Innosilicon have just released a beta firmware that is supposed to fix the problem.

I'm also interested on this subject, I'm planning to buy 2 units from halve mining is a SCAM
Their prices rocks!

If you wait 2 more weeks then you can build 4 x 6900 for the same price

You do realize that is a scam seller....they are not a registered company with the state of Oregon for starters, they list only a n office space rental as location .... sorta like uber for offices...but real companies dont use such things.  And rhen there are the posts listed on this site clearly showing the scam.

Buy from The maker not some fly by night...non entity....

Here is a link to the Secretary of State in Oregon and to be in business you have to register....SCAMS dont do that...because they are scams.

Update: The new DAG file is getting eaten better by the A10 Pro - back to 500MH/s today.

PS: I tried the new Firmware yesterday and the result was even worse  Sad 330MH/s and 30% rejected shares. But its running fine now.

Not working as well for me sadly

Some machines I upgraded to the beta version and it improved them from 430MH to to around 470MH, but the latest DAG change has killed them again and down as low as 400MH

I have some other machines remotely hosted that haven't been upgraded yet so are still on the 1st Sept and they are now abysmal ranging from 198 - 390MH with the average being around 340MH

What pool are you on ?

I'm on f2pool. Have you got a lot of rejected shares too? Since epoch 370 (and its restart of the A10) my accepted shares are up to 91%.

I will give f2pool a try see if it's any better, I'm on nanopool at the moment.

Awesome miner shows that they are hashing at the usual speed (~530MH), but it's the increase in rejects that's causing the lack of poolside hashrate.

Update 2:

I'm getting a 24h hashrate of 450MH/s now - so its still not running perfectly.

Local hashrate is ~520MH/s with 89% accepted shares
Poolside hashrate 450MH/s with only 0.24% rejects (99.76% accepted shares)

I've seen this behavior with havily undervolted RX480s too...  I've had roughly 920 watts @wall and now around 880 watts.

did the a10l_20201019_122713_Beta.swu update

311hm @905 watts 18% reject

now today 11-1-20 274hm @922 watts 44% reject

Starting get pretty frustrated....

Dear miners please do not support these ASICS. Ethereum last profitable coin left out there which we can mine, and so this last coin will  be wasted.

Official from Inno....

Recently, due to the continuous expansion of the Ethash algorithm, the Ethereum DAG file has broken through the 4G edge, leading to an increase in the rejection rate of A10 Pro and causing fluctuations in computing power. In order to provide users with a better experience, inno technical team launched the Beta version of the firmware two weeks ago. After repeated trials and improvements for two weeks, the official version of the upgraded firmware has been successfully released. This official version of the firmware effectively fixes the shortcomings of the intermediate Beta version, which will further improve the computing power and increase the stability of the machine. It is strongly recommended that you download the new firmware as soon as possible and complete the upgrade according to the process.

The following are the official upgrade firmware download links for the 5G version and 6G version of A10 Pro. Please observe for 24 hours after the upgrade. If there is any abnormality, please contact Inno after-sales support staff in time:

Thanks for the links, I've just seen it on their support-page. Has someone tried the new firmware yet? And is it really possible to get a memory-upgrade (4GB to 6GB and 5 to 6 GB) for it?

Dear miners please do not support these ASICS. Ethereum last profitable coin left out there which we can mine, and so this last coin will  be wasted.

No worries mate, those "Asic's" are not 100-1000 times faster than a GPU like it was with other coins BTC. They are maybe a little bit more efficient - but with a lot more troubles than GPUs.

Update: I've upgraded to the new firmware 48h ago. The rejected shares are down to 3.3% (96.7 accepted) and my average hashrate is now @ 490 MH/s.

Edit: Looks like there is a new A10 Pro+ 6GB with 720 MH/s and 1300W available soon: https://www.whattomine.com/miners/126-innosilicon-a10-pro-6gb
