I don't think so in the sense that development in crypto will continue.
if no new tokens are created then crypto has reached the final stage in the sense that it has reached its maximum.
is that true? I think there are still many sectors that need to be addressed, the dead projects that have sprung up are just obstacles or obstacles.
We should continue to promote the existing cryptos if possible wake up the dead ones, developers don't need to create pump and dump coins in a bid to making profits without following the whitepaper, there are countless numbers of those coins that are worthless some have been delisted in some exchanges, although I think it there will end to creation of altcoins, developers will always find a means of creating new ones telling us it will solve some problems. |

Since the creation of Ethereum and other smart contract-based and token creation platforms we have seen the number of newly launched projects token created, we now have thousands of dead tokens and coins but many are still create it seems many tokens just come and go.
Do you think we will have a time that there will be no new tokens created and people will stop investing and supporting new tokens or coins?
I do not see that time to be near rather it is the time for the market and innovation to grow and boom so i see more and more projects and products in coming years. Success and failures are a different topic but i think this technology is just getting accepted and adopted by the world now so we are going to see more and more projects though only the top projects will be able to survive. |

I think this will continue because every time there is new hype come out, new token created and new projects come out, only a few survive. The desire of people want quickly profit without thinking about how much risk they will get is the reason why there are still many people who are investing in new tokens without research. People with strategies will choose to take advantage of the emergence of hype with a hit and run strategy and those who only follow FOMO will only be trapped in trash tokens.

Its not going to happen unless there's no investors anymore who is willing to take risk for new projects for the hope of earning money. Although there are already many coins in the market some of them are useful and can solve real problem. While others exist for nothing and just a making profit for investors looking for high return despite of the high risk. |

I think that there will be a time that there will be no new tokens created in the future. This will only happen if there will be no one, no investors that will invest into new projects but I doubt that it will happen so in short the idea of no new projects anymore in the future is quite impossible to happen. Investors are ignorant. When they see a hyped project they will invest to it hoping to get some money on it. When they see new project and somebody said that it is good, they will invest on it. Investors will always support new project and that is the trend already. |

Good point, the reason why exchange loves to see new project around as they are really being compensated by those developers once the team decided to enlist their project inside the exchange, it's an easy money for exchange owners as the team pay them quite decent to very huge amount of money.
It's different from the types of exchange, big one gets bigger fees and yet they received more money when trading starts as trading fees feed them up.
I have seen information that recently cryptocurrency exchanges do not charge for listing. This primarily applies to the coins of the DeFi sector, around which there is now a lot of hype. It is obvious that exchanges consider their profit and understand that they will receive more revenue from commissions in a few days than the listing fee. |

There shouldn't be a time when there is never a new thing, they are breaking the technological barriers while still allowing some scam ones as well. I am not saying they are all great and they are all profiting us, however there are few that are making something brand new in technology and that allows us to improve the real good ones at the top as well.
You think segwit would be a thing if it was only bitcoin and there was no other coin? What about dapp? What about smart contract? None of that would have happened with only bitcoin and nothing else, competition makes each coin work to become the best one. You could wish for no other new project but I am really against it, plus people do have the right to start a project, even if they scam people, those people willing to gave the money, they should have researched as well.

No, there will still be tokens created and there will still people who will invest. You are generalizing it, altcoin are all coins after bitcoin, so it's impossible there will be no more altcoins to be created as the market is evolving and different platform are introduce, they are just waiting for their time to be popular, like like the De-Fi, it's their time now and I believe we also call them altcoins. |

If people stops supporting those new projects then why not right? Imagine everything in the world that can be offered for projects services and products had been created already so what more can we ask? This is far too long and its time to stop new projects and instead support the old one. |

My presumption is that, there will be new project tokens for like 5 years after which very few accepted currency will be derived then, we will have them dominant and others will be relegated gradually. The very few dominant ones will be competitive and will include Bitcoin,by then cryptocurrency would have gained massive acceptance through the world. And the few will be more stable.

I personally think new tokens not needed at this time where huge tokens in market rather we should promote old tokens so that traders or investors can be benefited. New token, new team can not be believable so that new tokens dump after one week or a month but one the other hand old tokens whom are experimented and team also active can be made promote. thanks. |

In my opinion it will continue and will not end, because there will still be tokens and coins being created, indeed many projects have failed and deceived, but that doesn't make the story end. There are still long stories about future coin or token projects

Even if there is absolutely no more new coins that could make the world a better place, we are talking about something like a free money here for the scammers which I assume would be impossible because scammers are scammers and they will always continue. Right now it is close to impossible to find a good project, almost all of them are scams or failed projects and that is why it wouldn't really change much, in the future there could be scams as well, why would scammers stop? They are making free money from idiots.
So, I would say the new projects will continue. Also I think technology is improving a lot as well so there could be something other than cryptocurrency that could be the new money, like not a new altcoin or anything, something that is NOT a cryptocurrency, but better.

Nope, if that happens then the whole crypto space is no more decentralized, there will be more new ideas coming into crypto space for many years to come, there may be new strategies that will tackle scammers in crypto space ( hopefully ) but I won't keep my hopes too high, crypto space is all about new ideas to prosper and that's on developers, as for investors they should always take precautions |

It's high time that we need to stop entertaining scam projects by validating their entry into every single crypto related forum as well as exchanges. We have seen a lot of altcoins ending up as dead coin due to the short sighted plan of the developers.

Yes, this time will come. But people will have to educate themselves and control their greed. But why I said this? Because most people invest in shit coins. Shit coins give profit to some investors. But scam most people. If people can differentiate them and stop investing in those projects, project owners will stop making new projects. No one should run for profit in a short time. Big-name coins give profit but take a bit long time. But gives a sure profit.
Actually, I want that time when there will be no new altcoin projects. All shitty coins will be out the cryptocurrency world.

no I think smart contracts can't stop operating, I mean like ethereum's erc20 platform. every day we have seen that new projects are always popping up endlessly, although some of them turn into dead coins. New developers will never care about the project, they will continue to develop new coins and leave if the previous project doesn't go well.

This can happen if there are strong government regulations. Or there are absolute and strict conditions regarding the creation of a new project. As long as the rule does not exist, new "half-baked" projects will continue to exist. Moreover, the cryptocurrency ecosystem is relatively early, there are still many niches that can be developed and innovated, so that many projects have sprung up, trying to exist by integrating new technologies from blockchain and crypto into everyday life. This is where our job, especially investors, is to be wise and thorough in conducting research. There are potential projects, and some bad luck so doesn't rush and don't take the bait. |
