What happened; Trust Wallet Reward Fake Giveaway

Fake giveaway has come up again under the name Trust Wallet Reward and like this was just created and I found this in the crypto group.
In the past I also found the same thing like this can be seen in my catch list.

I have seen exact similar giveaway like this one few weeks earlier but that was telegram based. Although i am not sure about that domain but frontend design and rewards claim option was exactly same. Just like this scammers they were trying to get the control of users trust wallet through private keys. Most probably this one is running by the same group of scammers where they have just changed the platform of advertising.

I will personally suggest every single newbies to be aware about this kinda obvious fake giveways and don't lose your crypto assets by running after it.

I was pretty sure that this fake giveaway would come. Because in recent times Trust Wallet has given some giveaways, where the users of the crypto community have participated, those giveaways have become popular.

And scammers are trying to take advantage of that popularity to scam inexperienced crypto users. Scammers always plan their next scam by using something trending product.

I hope people learnt their lesson during these last years specially after the Twitter hacking incident that led to many known accounts sending fake giveaways since the person had full access to all accounts, this one is a bit different and more serious though as they don't want participants to send them any funds directly and instead they ask them for private key which sometimes can even have much more funds stored in it.

It would be great if all people involved in crypto in anyway had the mindset of "every giveaway/airdrop is scam until proven otherwise" by default.

I have seen this type giveaway on Facebook. Now, much user use this wallet. Some stupid people trying to catch users wallet key. I hope people read user manual and security guidelines before using wallet.

It is true that scamer is still taking advantage of the popularity situation of the Trust wallet, which is currently still holding the event, which means an opportunity for scamer to do it, so of course I want to make more people aware to avoid this giveaway fake.

Actually, from a beginner who asked this on the Facebook group and said, is this airdrop real? firmly say that it is a fake by asking for a private key and in the end I slightly awakened the ignorant people.

Then I posted it here so that newbies also know this is fake, even though we often encounter it, there are still people who are unfamiliar with this.
