Maybe it's like an ICO, which we already saw before. But when bitcoin can have the real bull run, the DeFi project slowly will end, and there will be a new trend that will replace the DeFi. It can be like that in the next year because the new trend will replace the old trend. But maybe the DeFi project will still be at the crypto market like the ICO and IEO. We will see something after the bitcoin gets the bull run.

I see the DeFi project at this time only as a Pump and Dump event, if their token price drops when listing Then the project will be said a failed project, many investors will be disappointed and leave the project. Vice versa, if when listing their coin price is Pump, it will be said a good and successful project.

Same with ICO before, though there are still investors wo are willing to take the risk in hope that they'll still get something from the project, it's no longer that hypes and finding projects to place your investment is really tough. But always remember that whatever your take from this situation make sure sure to deal with good research.

Pump or dump depends from how the team generates supports you need to look for project who gained good support from the community before investing your money.

 And as expected, crypto project hypes like DEFI will gonna fade like what is happening right now. Those who are benefitted from that hype are lucky but those who are still trying their luck and trying to make a profit while the defi world is slowly going down, it's not yet late.For some reason, it is still best to invest in a product or projects that is real if we are seeking for long term and stable profits.

Well, so far it's still difficult to say, but I think that defi sphere will still show itself and therefore it is worth paying attention to the top cryptocurrency projects based in defi sphere, because top defi cryptocurrencies can still bring income, and of course, soon defi sphere will be replaced by something else, this is already a common thing, and therefore, while defi cryptocurrencies bring income, we need to make money on this.

Probably not, the total value locked is still at the all time high. I suppose there will still be newcomers within the next few months or so. Once it hits mainstream media then the end will be near. But until then I guess the bubble will just continue to grow.

I guess what OP meant is that there's not going to be much projects going to be made compared last couple of months because of how saturated the defi market is. It's kinda true in essence though because there's not much to invest to anyway. All of them (new projects) are the same things and most of them are scams, basically ICO 2.0 right now.

I am sure that there are still projects among DeFi that will have good prospects in the future, but due to the fact that with the increasing excitement, Decentralized Finance attracted a large number of scammers and when an investor is looking for profitable investments for his capital, then the current situation levels the difference between good and bad in the DeFi market in front of someone who is not very good at analyzing the situation. In addition, as regrettable as it sounds, but where there is no personal identification and everything is assigned to decentralization, scammers always try to get as much profit as possible from inexperienced cryptocurrency users.

it could have happened during the moment there were so many scammers right now that the trash DeFi project disappeared. this market will fall when more and more scammers go crazy to fool more people.

I'm not sure the defi period is over. Even though the DeFi trend is on a drastic decline right now, there will be changes to the DeFi concept, as we know NFT + Defi, or maybe gaming and DeFi.

I haven’t been seeing people talk much about them these days the hype is dying slowly, unless another new project that will seem good to people will come out and revive the DeFi market. But right now it seems like it’s dying slowly and before this year runs out we likely wouldn’t see people talking much about DeFi.

Probably just calming a bit but the bubble hasn't burst yet. For if it is so, it might cause a lot of liquidation or some yearn tokens losing lots of value.

Nah the bubble got burst already, that’s why the DeFi tokens have dropped more than 60% (majority of them). It’s not new, I was already expecting that to happen, we have seen other similar things that came out and trended for some months and suddenly they burst and everything is over.

DeFi in the first place is not sustainable in the long run. People liked DeFi because of greed, for the high returns while not taking into account the inflationary characteristic of this scheme. This will be realized in the long run.
But on the other end, it started a bull run that affected the market as a whole, even non-DeFi coins had great gains.
