Hi guys,
Since I was going to receive a bitcoin payment last night, I created a bitcoin account from an exchange named Thodex. To obtain a bitcoin wallet, I completed the necessary security steps, obtained my bitcoin wallet code and sent it to the person who will make the payment. However, it requires real authentication for bitcoin purchases and withdrawals. I sent the required documents and waited for their approval. However, when I woke up in the morning, I couldn't see any payment. The chamber wrote to their support service and stated that my account is not eligible to buy bitcoin, is there such a thing? I have obtained the wallet code, not the purchase, but the bitcoin transfer process. I wonder if there is a transfer time? Is there a possibility that bitcoins will arrive once my account is approved? Where did the bitcoins he transferred go? Thanks for answers.

Can you post or message me the address the coins were sent to?

It could be that:
1. The transaction is yet to confirm
2. The funds won't appear until your account is verified (I don't think this is likely though if they're a good exchange - but I'm not sure I've heard of them)
3. The person sending them to you could've messed up the transaction somehow.

Where did the bitcoins he transferred go?

Any transfer done has an identifier, a "tx id". If you can get the tx id from the sender we can see where he actually sent the coins.
If you give us the recipient address we can take a look onto the blockchain is the coins have come, but the exchange/wallet didn't fund your account yet (so you can ask their support what's the problem).
You have to give us some info so we can research what's the problem...

1. The transaction is yet to confirm

I kinda doubt that; OP said the transaction was sent "last night" and a few hours ago there were plenty of not-completely-filled blocks mined, so if the transaction was sent before those blocks, it should be confirmed.

The op dm'd me the address and it looks to have received nothing both on blockchain.com and btc.com... I assume this is a priblem with the sender or wherever they tried to withdraw from.

Yes, he asked for TX ID to check in Thodex, but the other party stated that the support platform cannot share it for security reasons. It seemed silly to me. However, my bitcoin wallet address is as follows, is there any transfer? Is it possible for me to learn?

No, there's no transfer. Nothing ever came to that address.

I got it, many thanks guys. The other party said let's talk tonight. What kind of problem could it be? Frankly, I trust him, he could stop direct communication, but he is also trying to solve the problem. It is a possibility that the other party has never sent, but do you think there is another possibility?

What does the person who was supposed to send the payment say? If the BTC address you provide is correct, even if the account in question has not verified, the transaction would be 100% visible if it was indeed made by the sender.

The chamber wrote to their support service and stated that my account is not eligible to buy bitcoin, is there such a thing?

The crypto exchange in question is from Turkey, and the reasons why you were denied to use their service may be because you may not be on the list of allowed countries, or your bank does not support buying and selling cryptocurrencies. For the exact reason you have to ask the exchange support, although they are not obliged to tell you exactly what the reason is.

When making transactions it's better to use make the confirmation comes into 1 to make sure that the transaction is already broadcast and you can find out with the help of blockchain.com to. I don't want to give you doubt its better to become safe and make a deal. Always ask for the transaction id to keep it monitor. Also, check on the mempool to have a faster transaction.

but the other party stated that the support platform cannot share it for security reasons. It seemed silly to me. However, my bitcoin wallet address is as follows, is there any transfer?

Mate you can monitor your transaction with the use of the Txid. Always keep aware.

Since I was going to receive a bitcoin payment last night, I created a bitcoin account from an exchange named Thodex. To obtain a bitcoin wallet, I completed the necessary security steps, obtained my bitcoin wallet code and sent it to the person who will make the payment.

Your first mistake.

If you want to receive a bitcoin payment, you first search for a good wallet and then install it.
You created an account on an unknown exchange.

Personally, i never heard of it. How did you find it? If the person who sent you the coins told you to create the account there, then.. you got scammed.

You don't need to complete any "security steps" to generate an address (note the word, there is no "bitcoin wallet code") from a wallet.

You never received any coins.
If you don't have access to the private keys (which you don't have when using an exchange), you never had control of any BTC.

The real questions are:
  • Why did you decide to use an completely unknown exchange instead of a software wallet?
  • How did you find that unknown and shady exchange?
  • Did the one sending you the coins tell you to do it that way? If so, you got scammed.

It seems they have an official thread here on the forum from here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5228285.0

Try to contact this profile below abount your issue it might be a bug(Just like other users said that their exchange have lots of bugs).

But according to the address that you generated from thodex it doesn't receive any BTC so thodex can't be able to help you about this.

Try to contact the man that you dealing with or did you buy it from P2P exchanges?
If it's your friend he might be forgot to broadcast the transaction thats why you didn't receive any bitcoin.

I just registered to the exchange in question just to see how it works.

izta35, you didn't have to send them your documents for getting a bitcoin address.
For getting a deposit address, you only needed to enter your first name, surname, birthdate and your nationality. They don't require you to send any documents as proof of identity for getting a deposit address.

I entered some wrong information and got a deposit address. And from what I see in the withdrawal page, seems that they allow unverified users to withdraw up to 0.1 BTC per day and up to 1 BTC per month.  Off course, I am not sure they won't ask for KYC at time of withdrawing.
