If you find one - do let me know! Because I don't think there is any debit card providers available for India. I have been looking for one since a long time as it will save me from the hassles of converting my bitcoins to cash through p2p exchanges. That's time consuming and comes with a lot of risk because you will never know the source of funds of the other party! A debit card will solve all these issues and make my life much easier.

The most renowned crypto debit card providers don't provide their service to India, like Polispay or Bitpay! Also known Indian crypto exchanges don't offer debit card to Indian customers.

There isn't any website or service provider as per my knowledge. Those who are converting crypto to local currency are mostly exchanges. All exchanges in India do ask their users to complete KYC verification. This is where the problem arises. What I understood in these uncertain days and from the past is to find an individual or a group who are willing to swap BTC for local fiat.

Alternatively, you can always use the government banks for getting conversion amount credit to your personal account from Indian crypto exchanges.

Two wise men once started to make cryptocurrencies ATM in this country back in 2017-18 something and ended up in Jail after 2-3 days of inaugration of their very first ATM in a mall of Bangalore.
https://www.google.com/amp/s/qz.com/india/1441787/how-unocoin-founders-were-arrested-for-their-cryptocurrency-atm/amp/

They had to face some fancy time in Jail with a lot of legal problems. I think after that incident no crypto exchange owner would try to give this service of ATM until there is legal clarity around this area. You might get foreign cards for online transactions from that debit card but a complete full fledged crypto debit card in India seems like a dream.

This is really sad side of developing countries they never enjoy good things when they have to do just because of corrupt system and poor law makers they can give some good to common peoples through this technology and this can boost very quickly for many developers and other fields of technology but sadly we all have to wait for their approval and greediness.

I don't 100% blame the authorities for that. Yes they have been slow and confused when it comes to law relating to crypto but this ATM thing was legally not right. I think what created problem for Unocoin was their wrong branding. ATM is actually something regulated by RBI and no other person can open it without required permissions. They should have branded it merely as a cash kiosk or something which does not hints it as a an ATM and things might have gone smooth. But yes it's true that the developers have to look for these technicalities of law while their focus should be at developing technology. Moreover even the banking system of our country is underdeveloped which makes opening of these crypto ATM even more difficult.

There is no such crypto Debit card available in India right now. But I think we are going to get them soon. UNICAS(a joint venture of Cashaa and The United Multistate Credit Co) is planning to begin 22 Crypto Banking Services branches in India. They have a plan to open as many as 100 such branches in India by end of 2022.
In my opinion, they will definitely open ATM's or at least offer some kind of physical card through will user can swipe it for shopping, dining, payments transfers etc. We already have such cards in other countries and India being a developing country will definitely not want to stay behind in this move. Moreover, such cards will make Transaction easy at a global level. It will be a blessing for Global players like Importers/exporters or MNC's etc.

I hope you are aware of the news the Cashaa was hacked and 336 btc stolen back in july this year, it was most probably inside job/exit scam, this news u shared is most probably old.

There are none. In-fact, I would have settled for a Bitcoin-Prepaid-Card so that I can purchase Netflix, Amazon-Prime, without giving them my Bank-Debit/Credit-Card but even that is not available. As long as there are unclear laws, no company would take the plunge and invest in a business involving Crypto in India.

If you think about it, the people behind all the Bitcoin Exchanges in India really stuck their neck out when they dared to start trading Crypto in India. And I think they would be the first ones offering something like this when it becomes available.

Tips are welcome! => 1bVp177vXRdbBUb9HXgP3odcdXBXdYr4z   <= BTC

Well there isn't a debit card. But there are a few people trying to make bitcoin accessible for purchases in some way. The project announced here intends to make cashback on credit cards. What they need is interest from people like us so they can go ahead and pursue banks. That can open up opportunities for a debit card in the near future.

So get involved and share your ideas and thoughts.

Today, there are a lot of projects developing that offer the society non-cash payments based on the blockchain, such as Junca Cash. this project should integrate the whole of Asia and therefore India will have a choice in order to make more reliable financial transfers.

Doesn't matter whatever financial service come to India and how much they are technically advanced in it, if a piece of law doesn't change, no financial services company will be issuing debit card in India. because India law doesn't allow any company to issue a debit card if they are not a commercial/scheduled bank. otherwise, the crypto exchanges in India like WazirX or Coinswitch would have issued a debit card already. The technology is there, the intention is there, the infrastructure is there as well. Just the legal support is not available!

No matter whatever goes on in Asia, doesn't impact India in the matter of Debit card! India has excluded themselves from all technical revolution.

Crypto debit card cannot be used in our country because of financial regulation. We are yet to pass a bill from the parliament and in between so much chaos I do not think it will get passed in this session of parliament.

I remember one of the exchange in 2018 did setup Bitcoin ATM in India in a few cities and all those ATM's were removed and later on in a few months time a blanked ban was put on cryptocurrency transactions.

So, forget about a crypto debit card.

Leaders are very busy with religious talks and election campaigns so they are not going to understand anything about technology but there are infrastructure and government offices but they are not going to do anything, we are still under the hands of stupids. Sad

It is not all that difficult to come up with a crypto debt card. Atleast for our own token, we can make a debt card and have it available to all Indians - and as liquidity makes way, the debt card can be used till the liquidity runs out.

The problem is with the legal side of the system. Recently I had a long chat with a supreme court lawyer and an expert on company rules and we concluded that such things where crypto is connected with currency - is not going to see the light of the day.

Now that the crypto bill isn't coming, atleast not in this session, so everything will remain in the grey area for the time being.

Which are the crypto debit cards that are available for Indian customers?
Would like to know any information about it.
Please share your experiences here.

It was unicoin founder who was jailed and that crypto currency exchange has now faded.. no doubt they returned the money to the users who all had deposited on their platform.. I was one of them who has received the money back

Yes obviously, they returned everything back, they didn't do anything wrong, they had all the funds of people and all they were doing was giving people an extra utility, obviously they had all the money to return it back to people, nice to know that you were one of those who got their refunds correctly.
