Bitcoin pumping and creating altcoins dumps have happened a lot, because many altcoins holders convert their assets to become Bitcoin. But usually it won't last long, because the altcoins will go up following the Bitcoin price. Therefore you must be patient when investing in altcoins, because altcoins price movements must be affected by Bitcoin price movements.

I’m not surprise, if you observe the market way back the all-time high it happened. The cycle occurs when bitcoin price increase and some altcoin is decreasing. This means traders more focus on btc movement to gain profit.
It's caused by the altcoins traders were leaving the altcoins market to join in the train of bitcoin. when the train will have stopped and they will be going back again to the altcoins. The altcoin and bitcoin traders were always jumping from one to the another market to take the opportunity. Altcoins were losting its value in bitcoin term but altcoins don't get a big dump caused by the pump that is still happening with bitcoin. Everyone stick to the bitcoin right now. This is always happening with bitcoin pump was coming.

For last 2days bitcoin is continuing it's uptrend run. It's close to 12000$ now. But why all the alts are going down? Especially the top alt coins which had a good price before the dump. For example BnB was 31$ when btc was 11300$ and ETH was on 380$ when BTC was 11400+$ . Now BnB at 28.7$ and ETH at 370$. Any reason for the dump?
yeah sucks alt relentlessly dump every hour, many panic seller unloading their stash even at minus next month maybe quite recover for many alt, and many project release their card on november-december sugesting some pomp on several project, if everything happen smoothly

It is normal for Bitcoin to suddenly pump, then the altcoins dump. Because many investors are moving their altcoins into Bitcoin. After the Bitcoin price stabilizes, it will slowly start to rise in the altcoins price. So my advice is not to panic if you see the altcoins dump price when the Bitcoin is pumped, stay patient and hold the altcoins that we have, I am sure it will not take long for the altcoins to go up in price again.
So you are suggesting people to keep on holding their altcoins (specially the shitty ones) while the price keeps on dropping where as the price of bitcoin keeps on rising? Wouldn't they be losing opportunities by holding their altcoins that are losing values? They can always dump their altcoins and then invest in bitcoin. We have always seen that when the price of bitcoin starts rising, altcoins price drops. Once bitcoin price becomes stable, altcoins starts to recover and then rise. So isn't it better to dump your altcoins, invest in bitcoin, make profit and then buy back whatever altcoins you have sold for cheaper price and make more profit when it recovers?

It's already too common, so many people don't panic with this repetitive situation. We never seem to have seen the title Every other Coin Bump, But BTC Dumping, I may be mistaken .

Seems like he is, which is very bad advice and precisely how a lot of whales make money in this Defi hype situation (very similar to the ICO days don't you think?). Bitcoin is pushing hard now to grow and altcoins are still struggling, people always know this but they keep playing with shitcoin fire. I made that mistake myself but not anymore.

Actually smart money entering only into BTC and it creating FOMO situation everyone rushing towards this train and don't want to miss it out. That is the reason why it is hard time for altcoins because smart people are not interested to invest in any altcoin including ETH too so that people are dumping their bags to buy BTC.

Well, if you are talking about ethereum and bnb, i think you shouldn't worry. Because both of these 2 are the major altcoins and recover sooner or later. But if you hold some other coins (especially not at top20 @coinmarketcap) you should worry when bitcoin has a sharp uptrend or downtrend.

You are probably talking only about these short and slight fluctuations in price. As Bitcoin's price continues to upward, altcoins will continue to rise. At the moment, we are seeing movements that indicate the nervousness of investors who watch the market every day - mainly daytraders. That's why they quickly transfer funds from altcoins to BTC - that's why the altcoin prices are falling. Long-term - capital will flow from the outside and many new investors will see the "new Bitcoin" in altcoins and their prices will surely grow as well.

Bitcoins are always in the high price it can be dump again but it will need more months to dump the price. And we never expect on it why some altcoins are dump and to hard for them to recover again. Maybe we need to wait a little more for altcoins for a recovery. We hope not end of the year altcoins would be start to increase the price, I have any altcoins right now on my wallet and I supposedly waiting for them to increase the price I hold them for so long for the time for them to rise.

Maybe because they want to double the money faster so they sell their Altcoins and use it to buy Bitcoin. This is like following a trend, if the BTC trend is stable they will go into altcoins again to look for profit again

Maybe because they want to double the money faster so they sell their Altcoins and use it to buy Bitcoin. This is like following a trend, if the BTC trend is stable they will go into altcoins again to look for profit again This is exactly what happens - it is the fastest to convert crypto to crypto. When investors see Bitcoin's price accelerating, it's the fastest to convert altcoin to BTC and buy at a lower price at the beginning. Therefore, the effect is a temporary drop in the price of altcoins. When more outside money enters on the cryptocurrency market and the situation calms down, altcoin prices will also go up and catch up with Bitcoin.

days after your post Ethereum Rise upto almost $500 so this means we only need to wait the process, eversince it is Bitcoin who grows first before all altcoins those legit. Bitcoin now is standing strong in $13k level so assume that in the next months altcoins will make their own ways of increasing. we just need to wait and invest because without our help then why prices will grow?

This is already a well-known rule. If Bitcoin goes up, altcoins drop. If Bitcoin falls, altcoins fall again. This has been like this for years. It is ridiculous to open the topic whenever it happens.

Still, not so many crypto people are aware of it. They only see the tandem of bitcoin and alts correlated most of the time. Bitcoin-altcoin up, that's mostly what they see and if it goes against to each other, they don't understand what happens. But whenever this happens, there will be a time that it will be correlated again. And then, altcoins are always late in the increase after bitcoin goes up. Just a normal observation that we usually see whenever its in bullish trend.

Theres no such patter when it comes to price movement neither they do correlate or alts might be late for them to increase or totally go to the opposite direction. Thing here is that someone should really know on how to observe things up and act according to his own and make utilization with those movement for your benefit or making out money. Not just because BTC is pumping does definitely mean up that alts are lagging behind or in reds because some of them do really go along with it. Price is truly unpredictable where it can go both ways or totally different and this is what make its even more harder.

We can't really expect something to come if we're not totally aware of the past behavior of the market. Alts can do come with bitcoin at the best but often times, it doesn't. TAs are helpful but if you have been observing the market + the experience that you've gained on this run, you'll understand why the market is always unpredictable.

This is expected to happen when bitcoin rises, many investors would desire to grab every opportunity to gain a good profit. Many reasons we should consider, it maybe a need for money or greed to take back the fruits of their labor. For now let's observe when this dump trend will last long, and if it's just doing for short period of time I guess and hope that it's a great preparation of an upcoming bullrun.

It is normal and there will be more dump for altcoins due to the correlation between BTC and altcoins. The price of BTC is an overbought zone on oscillators and all technical indicators show the price will come back under $11000 sooner or later. Maybe the altcoins holders have sold their bag to buy more BTC at the right time. Dumping the promoted altcoins and buying the altcoins which grow every day is a smart move but only risk lovers will prefer such way of trading. One day things can turn reverse and sold altcoin bags can gain value while the last bought BTC price goes down. It should be measured from all angles for avoiding the huge loss one day.

What you said is true if holding shitcoins will be more detrimental, I also haven't held shitcoins for a long time. What I mean is that holding top altcoins don't need to panic, like Ethereum, Litecoin, Binance coin, Ripple and others. Maybe my mistake is not explaining in details, because some altcoins recover quickly. It is true that not all altcoins are worth holding, therefore it is very important to do research to select projects for investment.
