@Dear Forum Administration, can we get Trust in Croatian marketplace & Altcoin?

Trust is not visible in Croatian marketplace, there are some bad people trying to steal money and I believe there should be at least some kind of visible warning. The same goes for good traders, it would be nice to see positive ratings when someone is selling stuff and sometimes it really might help seller.

I think it would be great addition to our board.

Maybe it wouldn't be a bad idea to add request to make trust visible in Altcoin part of our local board. Since Trust is visible in the English Altcoin section and in some other local boards, why not make it visible in ours too? Especially since we know scammy tendencies of altcoin projects.

One more request from our Local board, I am fully supporting this after I saw the same flaw today, and hoping it will not stay unanswered like all the other requests.

Is our voice weaker than all the other voices in the forum or we are not loud enough?

I have just sent theymos a PM and asked for the trust ratings to be made visible in our local marketplace board. I will keep you posted if he responds.

I also sent a message few days ago to some of the mods and to the big boss about changes in our local board.
Looks like they are very busy as I didn't receive any answer so far.

I just went through other local boards and if I'm not mistaken all of them  have trust rating visible in the marketplace section so it is kinda weird that is not visible in our case. We really stand out like a sore thumb.

After all, trade section is exactly the one where Trust rating being visible makes most sense and should be by default. In the end, why not making Trust visible across all boards and sections as I honestly don't see the downside of having that.

Anyway, let's hope for the best.

I am not from the Croatian local section, but I fully support this request. Visible trust ratings are essential on marketplace boards to get an idea who you are dealing with. Especially newbies and people who don't use bitcointalk on a daily basis could easily fall for a scammer, if trust ratings aren't visible.

For the everyday user Bitcointalk might look easy and self-explanatory, but if you come here once every few weeks you might not know that you can click the "Trust"-button on a profile to get additional information about the specific user.

Absolutely. I don't see any downside of trust ratings being visible on every board. If a person is a scammer why not let everyone know right away.

The trust system is designed to warn gullible novices against cheating, but novices do not see user trust ratings without going to the profile in most sections of the forum. Maybe someone has the answer to this question?

There are always bad people every local boards that same goes too in our local boards. If the request will be granted, then hoping too that it will going to reflect in other local boards as well. I am in full support of this and that would be the best thing that will going to happen in the forum if the trust rating of a certain user will be visible not only in the selected sections but all throughout the sections as well of the forum. I think that would be too wonderful to see that we were slowly keeping the scammers away.

Many people would prefer to see trust feedback in all forum sections (including me), but I think theymos and some other members replied before that there is no trading done in all forum sections so there is no need for this, and every member should make their own trust investigation.

The admins believe, and I absolutely agree with their stance on this topic, that someone's trust rating shouldn't be used as an evaluation on how good of a poster that member is. But it is imperative that we see these ratings in all sections of the forum where money is involved, such as the marketplace. If the member has scammed in the past or is likely to scam, that should be visible where it matters. But that same member can have extensive knowledge about the crypto ecosystem, and in that sense unnecessary focus should not be put on his ratings, but on his command of Bitcoin.

I review croatia market: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=220.0, and I saw lots of newbies making topics about loans, BTC sales, and many others.
if someone had to trade carelessly and did not check the profile that created the topic, they would not know about that user's reputation good or bad, this can be a high risk of losing, because it is on the trading list.

I also support the proposal of @marlboroza, to display trust in every user in the Croatian market circle, I hope the Administration of the Forum, considering this request, considers it for the better to come.


I think the proposal from the Croatian member does not violate or conflict with the rules and should be considered by the Admin.

It's not only the case in Romanian local board, as absolutely every other local board (that has marketplace section of course) except our has trust visible, so there is no reason not too make that change and enable it.
