Normally I wouldn't agree with this but I'm one of those "converted" ETH guys. Not so much that I give up on Bitcoin, far from it, but I think ETH has gone through enough problems to mature and has proven to still be the most easy platform to do apps on, I think ETH 2.0 will really do something for it (even with all the Defi problems). So yes, agree here. Bitcoin 90% but ETH takes a slightly bigger approval from me as an alt.

BTC and ETH are my top choices also. It is as if you can't go wrong with these cryptocurrencies. A lot of alts come and go, abandoned, dead or whatever their status right now, but these 2 are still surviving to be the best. BTC is the most popular crypto even if we have hiccups in transaction fees and yet, people are still patronizing it. Whereas, with the upcoming eth 2.0, we know, eth has really solid development team.

Those people who are buying low cap coins are the people who have quick rich mentality. They thought that low market cap coin will become x100 in just short term. Their greed is so strong where they do not know what they are doing. A lot of newbies are losing because of that, they are not aware that what they are buying are just shitcoins in the market where investors do not have care about it. I avoid purchasing altcoins that are below 200 in terms of market capitalization because most of them are shitcoins without volume wherein there is not enough buyers. I also avoid investing in DEFI because only few of them succeed and most of it are failing after it got listed in exchange.

I think we should anticipate on the BNB and XRP, next year both of them are doing good movement in this current year. They easily recovered even though that we are still in pandemic, my bias is they will make 52 week high next year and they will even make monstrous rally for sure. Litecoin and Cardano is also good coin for me so we should add it in my watchlist. There are now opportunities in the market and we should not waste it for us to maximize the returns.

your sure on bitcoin because bitcoin is not just good for the next year but bitcoin is the essential coin in any time  but really , bitcoin will perform better next year compare to this year and on some of the past years because of paypal which are also going to start next year . eth and bnb are coins that can be considered next to btc in terms of performance . there are working updates for eth which is eth 2.0 but for binance  coin i never heard of it yet but this coin is heavily influenced by the binance exchange .  chainlink is the only coin here that im not really sure of

I still prefer to buy and hold bitcoin and Ethereum next year, a lot of altcoins are keep decreasing but those coin that I mention are keep increasing especially the bitcoin. For me, the bitcoin will shine next year and I'm very sure that it can reached and beat the previous all time high. I do not suggest any defi out there because for me there will be a new trend in next year where people will patronize it than defi.

I think ethereum is still a top choice to invest and hold for 2021 because once it break 500 i think it is going to continue the uptrend for long.
So buying and holding under 500 could be the wise decision as im also trying to buy more as eth 2.0 and staking is expected to take eth to new horizons.

Ethereum will be by far the best coin to hold in 2021, it is going to keep getting updates, it is going to be 2.0 and it is going to be used a lot more with the new tech we have in our hands. All of which means ethereum will be requested after a lot and everyone will want ethereum, the price could break over 1k+ once again and at this point if everything settles down a bit I am not really that surprised if it can break over 1.5k dollars as well and beat the old all time high price.

All of these will take time obviously and I think that is why 2021 is key here, I do not think there will be anything shocking left in 2020 for ethereum, it could still go over 500 dollars maybe but that is about it, but in 2021 that is at least 13.5 more months and in 13.5 months it could break well over 1.5k dollars.

Etherium and bitcoins is a big choice for us if we want to hold a potential coins.
And need to add more altcoins just like you said binance coin and chainlink will be have a huge prices coming in the end of the year.
Must better also hold those altcoins thus not listed yet in exchange site but have a chance to increase the price if time for them listed in a trusted exchange sites.
