I have currency exchange service here in this forum- https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5251387.0
I got a few sellers here within last couple of months. As sometimes, I'm out of my wallet, I have no choice but reuse the addresses, sometimes with mistakes, I have to reuse different addresses as well. Now, what I have realized is- some of my addresses have been connected with some other people of the forum as they sent me BTC.
I'm creating this thread so that I don't have to face any problem in future like tagging me as alt of different accounts although I'm not deleting any PM which contain addresses.

To be clear, a transaction between addresses is not a solid proof to connect to persons unless we have more proofs like both of them use the same address to receive a campaign reward.
If your address is connected to other users addresses here in the forum via transactions, then you have nothing to fear of. Just make sure that you know the owner of addresses you made transactions with so they can help you prove innocence in extreme cases.
To be honest, investigator users would always keep an eye to your account activities because of the case with user RapTarx. I think it isn't solved yet when i check the untrusted feedback on your profile .

This isn't a problem at all, who told us we can't trade with forum users? I have been selling my earning to my local resellers, how can I make sure he isn't on the forum or he isn't in the same campaign I am doing now? A transaction between each other only wouldn't prove an alt account. There should be more strong evidence like posting the same BTC address, the same social media accounts, and so on. Saving forum PM wouldn't prove anything about the alt account. Because alt account could send PM to each other. But yes, PM would help to if incase someone deny to return your lent amount or exchange amount.

As sometimes, I'm out of my wallet, I have no choice but reuse the addresses, sometimes with mistakes, I have to reuse different addresses as well.
You can avoid this by posting some "spare" addresses (ideally in a signed message) before you need them. Kinda like I did here (exactly a year ago, although those addresses are meant to be used many times). If you post a list of 20 new addresses, and you need to give someone an address, just quote your own post with the address you want.
Or just bring your (mobile) wallet with you Wink
