Yes, we are moving in that direction and I with everyone else believe that we'll see $20,000 btc between this Nov-Mar which will become the new floor for few months before we cross $40-$50k. I think paypal is a good news even though people think they're too centralized but it helps with ease of use which is connected to mass adoption.

First, this is a welcome development and a massive news for the entire crypto space and there will likely be more positive reaction to this, that is, with PayPal and Venmo now making moves to accept Bitcoin within their platforms, others would start seeing the positive side of it and will not like to be left out and hence will likely join the race so as to attract more users and so on. However, irrespective of the fact this is a good news, but I will hardly predict the price Bitcoin will reach because over the years we have witnessed many predictions which didn't worked out, even this year alone.
Currently, this news will drive fomo and hence more growth which is normal, but for the price, no one can correctly predict it.
In my own case, I will only hold my Bitcoin but will not flow nor agree with any price predictions.

This news caused the price of bitcoin to rise quite high today, but it is not enough to bring the price of bitcoin to $ 20,000. $ 20,000 is quite a large number and we can only see bitcoin reach such a price in 2017. I think bitcoin will take a long time before it can return to $ 20,000.

We will reach 20 thousand I'm just not sure if we can do it in this wave and before the end of the year but this move was extremely bullish for bitcoin.

Like I said a few times before there's no real resistance between 14000 and 20000. If we break 14 we'll go up even faster than we went from 11 to 13.

You shouldn't be under the delusion that the economies of the leading countries will instantly begin the transition to work with crypto. Requirements from regulators are not softened, and there are no loud statements yet. But as positive news for the market, Paypal's allowing work with BTC, LTC, ETH and BCH affected, but did not quite live up to expectations.

It's a good news that PayPal and Venmo allowing their user to buy and sell some crypto. But sending crypto to other won't be available there. For this many people will not use it. How surprising that Paypal got involved with BTC already, hmm? I don't still want to say that this convinced me to buy BTC through that means because I don't feel that much secured anymore in Paypal because of how some accounts get frozen but not abandoned.
I don't think that this recent news truly affected BTC price though.

Because of news, market flows and could be investors are following back bitcoin so money is in it. AFAIK, Venmo and PayPal are partners. Now with this setting, other big giant crypto-companies have a competition. I'm always believing that we're going back to $20k and even higher than that. The charts have been pointing that to happen and if it has happened before, it can happen still again. No answers when but it will surpass the ATH that we've reached before.

It can, but it will not. Why? Simply because there is to much uncertainty because of covid right now in the air. We are at start of second wave. After secondwave will will have 3rd wave. Actually, much more good news can lead to the price of BTC and also other altcoins increase their price significantly. Like what happened recently and also previously. If there are many more platform or sectors accept Bitcoin and other cryptos, also make the good news of it, I am sure the value of the coins will also keep increasing.
however, can it always increase significantly? I personally will not expect too high because this is a crypto world where there is always a surprise. there may be a market correction after some increases. or, it will continue increasing until hitting the ATH.

This is definitely good news for Bitcoin.  The price of Bitcoin is already rising and I think its price will continue to rise for quite some time. But $20k is a big amount if we think about current situation.

$20k really is a big amount, I agree, but I also think that it will reach this amount anytime soon. Having these known platforms accepts crypto currency as mode of payment, even the ones who doesn't know will be curious to it and might also be investors in the future.

Let us see what will happen to bitcoin after this big promotion to it. I am happy to the development of paypal as I want to directly convert my btc to paypal in order to have dollars on it and vice versa. Now I know why bitcoin moves up strangely for the few days. It would have reached $20K without any of those but again payment giants accepting crypto trade would bring in millions of new investors to bitcoin and crypto. And with their limited support, users would be introduced with the best of crypto world and would have a favorable experience. Bitcoin would soon be on it's way for 20K.

Paypal had been against the Crypto form it's start. They always complained and criticized crypto, tried to eliminate it's trade on their platform and did everything to counter it. But now, as they see people are depositing a large sum of their bank balance directly to coinbase and kraken. They realized they are loosing the fight and surrendered to crypto.
