I believe that investors of Polkadot ICO where the very lucky investors since the ICO was launched few years ago. How i wish that there's a bounty for this project but i found nothing except for their bug bounty that is far beyond my skills. With a project such this that is well funded and with so much hype, i can only hope less for them to offer bounties like i used to participate in this platform.

Well maybe the reason why polkadot didnt conduct bounty campaign before is because they are confident that the project will still become successful even without the help of bounty hunters that will promote thier product.

Bug bounty is the only available bounty for PolkaDot, but i actually see you are promoting PolkaDot in your signature. I searched about PolkaDot signature campaign but found nothing. Did you create this signature by yourself and start promoting without waiting for a reward?

To be clear here, almost all succesful projects which has been started with an ICO for fundrise didn't run a bounty campaign to promote themselves in social media. Ethereum is a great example among many other projects.

I guess he did, he mentioned that he has skills so it could be part of his skills and that is to create signatures and code it. And as support for Polkadot, he made one.

They are lucky just like any investor that have chosen a project to be good and resulted to have a successful run. And after that run, they've got in to the top because the developers have maintained its status. Nothing new with successful projects and lucky investors. If somebody invests to a successful project, he deserves to have it as he have took risk investing on it.

Big ICOs tend to launch a useful campaign that will really benefit them. Bug bounty is one of the example of this thus participants can help them seek potential error or glitches among the system.

If there is a social campaign maybe it will be more cool. However Ive noticed that most reliable projects like more technical rewarding stuff like polkadot, and certik. Well joined avalanche social bounty and its also good but kinda strict.

Can I ask if there is a legit polkadot sig camp? Or OP simply created this and wear on his own accord.

Some project doesnt want to have bounty for a reason that they don't want to experience mass selling for bounty payment.  and thats the reason I guess why they don't considered to have one here. If you know you can make your project to be successful without the need of other promotion like bounties or ads .you don't need to have one as long as you are confidence in your ability for developing the project I don't think you need it .

It's the main reason. Just take a look at the majority of the big projects that have already backed by so many major companies and venture capital and they have gotten a lot of money to do the various promotion to attract the buyers or ico participants in the past. This is not only happening with the polkadot but a project that has gotten very big hype didn't even need to do promotion but otherwise, the ico hunters will always hunt this kind of project to make instant ROI from there. I have experienced this so many times since the ico was booming.

is this the one said to have a partnership with the tron ? they dont need a bounty because they already been promoted by a big crypto and that promotion is two times or maybe more , better than doing a bounty where the exposure is only inside the forum .  bug bounty is still a bounty though and it attracts quality people because working on a bug bounty is hard and mostly hackers and coders are involved on it . polkadot has no bounty but it was been talked about on the past but projects that have bounties are not being talked about , how was that ?

If they are interested in the same and useless bounties of others it may damage their reputation that is why they tried something new which need real skills to participate and also the bounty itself is going to be very helpful for the development of that project.

Even lesser crypto projects don't always ask for bounty hunters help for promotions, it's their choice and not ours, there are few high quality projects this year that seek bounty hunters like Cartesi, DIA, Oikos and Alchemy, I'm positive that new high quality projects will still come, be on the lookout.

The bitter truth is that serious projects looking for funds never seek to advertise themselves cheaply using bounty hunter who just spam social media with no idea of what they are even advertising. Most get a backing or funding from bigger players such as private equity firms like Venture capital, so even when they want to advertise, they use much more official ways or main stream media or hire professional advertising firms and not forum bounty hunters. This should be at the back of your mind.

With more than 300 million dollars daily trade volume and the bounty that worth 100k or even less will bring nothing to the market. The problem is it's impossible thing for the major company like this one to create bounty and this will never happen.
Rememeber ethereum and it's only creating the bug bounty as it has already gained popularity among the crypto users and people already familiar with it.
This bounty will never happen for sure.
Just see the history of the major crypto currency.

Instead wasting your time by waiting the bounty which will pays you with polkadot, it would be far better to buy it with your own money and hold it if you really believe this coin will growth in the future. Currently, polkadot is worth $4.64, which still affordable to buy .

Guess for the better if team want start bounty program then they can allowing BTC/USDT/ETH rewards then no chance for dumping price. Actually promoting section is indeed for every project in my opinion so best consider rewards section.

You won't have a chance to dump an already valuable coin even if they launch the bounty campaign because they will determine the value based on USD and the reward will be very low through the coin. The coins haven't determined the price during the ICO, they only estimate, so when the value is too high, the dumping phenomenon occurs.

Bug bounties are always beyond the skills of most of us here,,, and that is okay to be honest. I prefer good developers and coders get those bounties so the space is safer. But I remember the scandal of EOS where they raised millions (or billion) and then just instead of building they did a bug bounty hehe. And it continued to grow and grow. Sigh,,,

Yeah, bug bounty is not for everyone. Only those knowledgeable in programming or capable of hacking can do this kind of job. I just searched if they launched a social bounty but it seems they are only focused on bug bounty.

The signature has created by him on his own intention. It looks like he was a pure supporters of polkadot project. that's why he was hoping to see the polkadot project to create a bounty here.
The fact that if there's no party who can submit the proposal to the team and the campaign will never happen.

At least we needs a trusted manager who can apply the proposal to the team about the marketing promotion. This is a must as the team will also need transparency
