Discord is more friendly and open, I much prefer to a few other platforms.   Telegram might be better for brief communication but discord is more of a community regular experience.

So basically, to sum it all, Discord is much better than TELEGRAM? (based on the comments here in this thread) I rarely use Discord that's why I don't know, if I happened to use it, it's because I'm playing a certain team game, I really find this platform just like Twitch.

And besides I haven't encountered that many projects that requires to use Discord, so that's also the reason why I didn't bother being a Mod there.

I think there is not much use of such discussion. People have different preferences and that is why some like mote one than the other. To my opinion both platforms are good and useful, majority has good experiences and not much objections so the only thing what one prefers and why.
Personally I like Telegram more but that doesn't mean that Discord is bad.

For gathering gamers that might be the possible players for gambling site, Yes, gamers are everywhere in discord. It is better since the majority of users of discord is gamers. Unlike in telegram, it is more on discussion which includes gaming activity.

Interface and being user-friendly, DISCORD is better than TELEGRAM.

But for promotions and marketing, I don't see both or any messaging applications as effective.

Still a good way to promote in social media platform or crypto-related forum.

Discord might be tricky for first-time users but not that difficult to learn the interface.

Telegram, on the other hand, can be learned easily as interface is not that different from another messaging app.

But for a gambling site, either by promotions or just want to have a standalone channel at each platform, they can consider having a server or group on both rather than picking on one.

When it comes to user interface, I prefer using discord because I like how smoothly it runs. And also you can create servers with it and it offers a lot of great features. Telegram is also convenient to use when sending files and communicating. I think if you only prefer a simple platform for communication you may pick telegram but if you want to have a more features to use then you should use discord. When it comes to gambling sites, I already saw a channel in telegram about all the updates in that gambling site.

I don't really think that it would have any effect on them specially those who are already doing great without the help of telegram community,
I think they see's it as an extra job so they would pay for extra person to take care of it for what? They already have a great community only the new ones would need it.
And I also think that it wouldn't really be helpful for them if they already have a social media pages to announce all of their up coming events or running events.
And also Telegram are filled with bots so even if they create a community there they could just be filled with bots promoting other project so they would need to block all those kind of message.

Through telegram a community can be built and further the promotion for the gambling site can be done. More and more Scams were taking place through telegram, maybe that can be a reason for the reduced usage of telegram on promotion needs. During the early days of gambling sites development, promotions took place through telegram. When things go advanced and convenient people will make use of it. This is how everything moved from telegram to discord.

Many of the telegram channels related to crypto are full of scammers and genuine gambling sites won't want their customers to be scammed in the name of gambling.
May be that's why they prefer discord and other platforms which provide a better user experience.
Besides that I have seen many gamers actually using discord rather than any other chatting platforms.
So discord is like a gamer's hub for chatting

I have seen some gambling platform still using telegram to promote them though. But most of the platform use discord, it's right. And the reason is maybe gamers who are looking for fun discord is for them. Also maybe discord has more room to protect scam/spam and find useful user.

Depend how many gamers active forum, when have good chance with many gamer active on telegram betting site will promote their site on telegram but when getting on twitter have many gamer active for discussing there will change way to promote gambling site on twitter, the are not limit have to promote with the same social media site only always depend how gamer situation active, some time gamer look active on Facebook media social so we found many gambling site promote their link on Facebook ads, it usually happen at the same site how to promote and get their costumer.

Gambling platforms don't use it because they have marketing teams that has much better way to grow their engagement in gambling addicts through SEO, link building and stuff.
Also, Bitcointalk is all in one access to most Crypto players, because it has millions of members around the world. It would only a waste of resources, if they market it in telegram with only few users.

Now most of the projects use telegram to promote their projects. And gambling platform teams tend to focus more on promotion in other ways than telegrams. Not all telegram channels or groups are under the control of scammers, so there is an opportunity to do something good using telegram. There are a lot of projects that buy subscribers to make their community bigger, but I don't think they get any additional benefits from this activity.

So if you can manage telegram in the right way, telegram promotion is also a very effective way.

See, I did not condemned the telegram social media but its obvious that the channel currently are made up of scammers because thousands of people has been dupes via telegram adverts, even some ponzi scheme platform's uses telegram to promote their platforms, so the chance of been know as a sincere platform via telegram promotion is high, due to people who fall victims of been dupes through the channel can't compromise or believe to any site promoted through telegram.

In discord it is much easier, you only need swipe to the right if you need to see the channel or groups instantly, and some website I think they use discord to communicate since I think is far more secure, I've heard it to someone I forgot the name. And as you can see some live stream games uses discord, that's why it is far more good than telegram, you may use discord because of its unique feature than telegram.

True. Telegrams have been used a lot by scammers to scam people. People have fallen into the trap of scammers after seeing tempting offers. I have exopse many scams that were promoted using telegrams. So now people don't want to believe any offer that is advertised in the telegram, you have already analyzed the reasons. I think gambling platforms will focus more on all other ways of promotion without giving priority to telegrams.

I think that Telegram has a bad reputation, especially on this forum, for being a place for scams to take place.  Its too easy for impersonators to steal from innocent and vulnerable people.

That's why support chat rooms are created there, followed by public chats. The main feature of Discord is that on one server you can create a huge number of chat rooms with a breakdown from the language of communication and ending with interests.

Telegram is widely distributed among the crypto community due to the large number of advertising campaigns for new projects. In fact, this program is good for one-time promotions, Telegram is not very good for long-term use, because it is difficult to search for previously published information. For this purpose, Discord is much better suited.
