I think it is a good choice that they choose Discord over Telegram for me Telegram is full of bots and fake number of communities.

I haven't seen any Gamblig Platform who used Telegram for Promotions, most I know is that they use Discord.
Do you have any Idea why they don't have any Telegram Communities? and why does it seem they don't use this platform for their promotions?

I also notice that but do they need that they already have a channel of their own inside their platform, and if they want an update they will just send newsletter to their members, Discord is good it was created for gamers and since some gambling have sports betting in their platform they prefer using Discord then Telegram.

In discord we can put many sub topic in just one channel, usually gamers use discord. I only use discord too for gaming purposes as its easy to use due to its sub topic functions that can make the channel more organized. While in telegram it is used mainly for announcement and mostly bot chats and Off Topic discussions, it's too hard to sort or search in telegram as it's a one thread with no subtopic options.

It is simple because Discord offers features which are richer compared to Telegram.Personally I don’t use Discord and I love Telegram however Telegram is effective mostly in one to one communications or one to many at best.
Telegram has shown for the few casinos who started it that is not effective as they predicted and now almost all casinos use Discord.

that is the same as platforns choose twitter over facebook  because facebook are too crowded over twitter which is more controllable   .

 on discord its hard for the spam to penetrate because its not easy to join a channel unless you are invited over the link and you join it willingly but telegram is not like this , you will only be surprise that you are now on a channel with full of spam replies but not all of them are like that but there are still few channels that are nice to check out because they are clean .

I'd stick with online casinos chatboxes rather than go to Telegram. It is great to use if you are just sending texts or messages to your loved ones or your friends but if we will be talking about promotions, I will go with Discord. Usually, gamers use this application since it is really convinient for them, they could even make a bot for gambling or other games too, Discord is just too popular nowadays.

Telegram is not as good as discord if you want to provide a better experience and professional environment. As you can see, you can create many different channels and group chat for gamblers to discord and resolve various types of problems. Telegram is used only for an organization to inform their business, roadmap, etc. It's a real jumble using telegram for gambling. They worked on Discord which is more effective compare to Telegram, though some gambling site have their Telegram account but I think its just an announcement page, if you really want to socialize with the other players you can do it on the chat box, but personally I prefer to gamble all by myself and I can get notified on social media accounts of the gambling site if I need something from them.

The only reason I see is that,

Discord is mainly being used to chat or voice by gamers. Since gambling is also a type of game, their target market is perfectly on discord. It means that they have more possibilities to gather more possible gamblers. Unlike in telegram wherein it was being used most for messaging or promotion which is outside the gambling community.

We don't know but there can be countless reasons.

-They can communicate p2p with potential clients, telegram is something that not all users have downloaded already.
-They believe it's not better to use telegram since they don't trust the users there or might have other issues.
-at the same time in discord there are genuine players, players who care about the gaming and such therefore better option for them
-personal preference
- maybe they know something that we don't??? Something about marketing ?? If the business is blooming I do think that these gambling companies are finding good people to work with.

It doesn't matter where you can advertise , what matters is , if it's working out for you, your company and what are the stats ??

If they keep using that for years , then I do believe that it's good for them. There are even many fake users and scams on telegram.

I see discord is much cleaner than telegram. Telegram is very easy to penetrate scammer and does not have good filtering when compared to discord.

This is one of the reason why I hate telegram as well, there’s a lot of fake people on this platform and its good that most of the Gambling site don’t have this one or else they’ll suffer from the fake people. Discord is a great channel to communicate, actually some gambling site enables their chat room so it can also be the safest place to communicate to the admin.

Telegram is a mess. Discord is more organized with all the different channels for each topic to be discussed.
Telegram is good if you're planning to build a community of hunters and Discord is for the pro/gamers I guess?

Telegram uses too many spams and not all of the users there that's been in a group of a certain gambling sites are not active at all, there are some but only few. I guess that's
also the reason why they don't have any telegram because that would be another expenses to hire a manager that would manage their telegram channel that only few people are interested on asking what's going on and what's new to their gambling sites.

While in Discord have so many features and already being used even in academic purposes especially in this time of pandemic, and just like what others said, it's pretty much organized than telegram and more professional to use.

There was a link given to me Via telegram and it is about  a Platform(casino site) Earnbet in which according to my research started as EOSBet recently.

Before gambling platforms use social media to promote their site or event or offers something, they will search for the best way to promote. And as they see what is happens with a Telegram, they decide not to use Telegram because they don't want to have a negative effect on the site. But if they can use Telegram or Discord properly, they don't want to be afraid to use both platforms to promote their programs or give their members offers. Perhaps, they can set their channel to private, so only their members can join with them. That can prevent the scam, which can happen in the future.

Personally I like using discord much better.  Telegram is kind of a messy platform and there's a whole lot of scammers flying in with random bs and messages that you just don't get on discord.  It's also probably due to the fact that Discord provides some sort of encryption that I believe is thought to be strong than telegrams.

Telegram is a home for scams and whatnots that would probably prevent them from actually being a community, PLUS there are a LOT of people who don't know much about telegram, which makes them prone to actually being scammed by others, which one way or another, leads to the implication of the casinos those scammers impersonate. Add that to how much organized you can actually be with discord compared to telegram, anyone would clearly choose discord over telegram. Social media is also used although that's mostly for admins to actually put out announcements, compared to discord where the community can interact with each other.
